  • Are you ready to upgrade your Rotary setup you have been struggling with? For the cost of some plywood or MDF you can completely change the way you use your rotary. I got so frustrated trying center the laser over my rotary projects, stacking things up under my laser to fit large jugs on my rotary, and feeling like my laser was on house arrest, only allowed out for rotary jobs. So when I upgraded to the new Atomstack Ace Pro V2 I decided it was time for a complete overhaul of my rotary setup. The baseplate that holds the Rotary firmly in place makes the need to square up the rotary to the laser is a thing of the past. My new rotary leg blocks lock my laser into place and allow me to rise my laser to any height that I need. The files I provide for the riser legs are specifically for the Atomstack Ace Pro V2 laser but can take my idea and alter it to work with any laser and trust me this makes using a rotary so much easier. They might also work with other lasers that have L shaped legs but I have not tested them so I can't say for sure.

    Great job. Loved the commercial. Your riser legs look like little buildings. You should lean into that and engrave more windows.

      I could also put little tools or other small things I use for the rotary if I did windows. Great idea. Maybe even little laser cut people hanging out inside the windows haha

      @@WyldeWillow Not there yet, almost I started posting videos regularly May 2022 and should hit 9K very soon. I did go from 4K to 8+ very fast. That happened in like 3 months. Regular posting helps and trying to have good content of course. One thing I do that probably hurts is I am really covering two subject knife sharpening & Laser engraving many would say that it should be two separate channels I have more Knife sharpening people but many of my laser companies I hear from like the fact I am in a niche that is unique from just crafters so it has worked well for me and it's been a nice addition to my sharpening business being able to do things like engraving knives and tools. Took me a bit to get my sound and video quality good in my shop environment. One thing I like about your content is you have had great quality from Day 1 when I look back at some of my early videos I cringe at the sound. I am planning to go back and reshoot some that the content is good but my production quality wasn't what it is today.

    I think that stacking system to elevate the machine is genious! The fact that the roll rotary and the chuck are different tools is excellent, I have the XTool rotary that has both in one and it is a lot of time what it takes to put one or the other it makes you feel like not experimenting with it.

    • @WyldeWillow
      @WyldeWillow  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Totally agree I never used the rollers because it was annoying to switch back and fourth. I will probably use the rollers more now that it's an easy switch

    Question: how accurate is the saved centreline after the riser legs are lifted? Do you need to recalibrate after every height change?

    • @WyldeWillow
      @WyldeWillow  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great question! But as long as everything is fitting snug, which it should as long as you don’t have a different Kerf offset or the material your using is different. But basically if everything is fitting snug it shouldn’t have to be recalibrated

    your commitment to the bit, as demonstrated during your infomertial -- is really a high effort, but high yeild pipeline.
    I would suggest to commit to similar "bits", if those videos perform better. I think they would, but the data on your videos would show if they're effective to your audience.
    Albeit, I was uncomfortable, but it did get a few chuckles out of me, and quickly distinguished you from other content creators.
    Good luck,

      @@WyldeWillow That was absolutely not meant as a criticism; I hope your channel performs well, and I binge watched quite a few other videos after.
      You balanced commitment to the bit -- with a softener to re-engage the people you might have deterred during the bit. Something for everyone there. Again, Well done.
      I said that in case you were considering a strategy for your content -- I would consider that distinction of creativity as a competitive edge in your niche of content.
      Good stuff! Looking forward to more "bits" from you both!
