it will settle over time and improve, but i can promise you that distilled is still much clearer. after you drop anything in the settled tap water, it kicks up all the little minerals that were in there. maybe where you live your tap water is clearer, but here in toronto, it’s deeeefinitely not!! lol

in fish stores you will fined something called water crystal , two drops to the tank and it would be super clear

😂😂 here’s a tip leave tap water out over night and the cloudiness goes away it’s not from the minerals it’s actually air mixed with chlorine

I have done several portrait shoots with a custom tank with water from my garden hose with zero issues
