SK Standard Plus Compared To SK Rifle Match

- SK is a favorite ammunition.
I use SK Standard Plus frequently. Results have always been good.
SK Rifle Match has a higher price point. I've not used before and thought it was time for a trial.
The ballistics of both products are listed on the SK website.
I chose Standard Plus and Rifle Match due to the price differential. Excluding Rifle match most of the other SK offerings retail close to Standard Plus.
Of note, Rifle Match is approximately 36% higher price than Standard Plus.
(Lapua Center-X is approximately 56% higher price than SK Standard Plus).
Lots are tested frequently at the factory for accuracy and repeatability. Based on factory criteria they are then separated for labeling and market.

Standard Plus has been a good performer in my CZ 457. How accurate can you afford to be?

My CZ MTR 20" shoots sub MOA at 50 and 100 meters using SK Standard Plus , Rifle Match and Pistol Match Special. Now I live were it's made, but I have problems getting my hands on it.

Clearly your rifle likes SK Standard Plus. Those were three excellent groups that, honestly, surprised me. I recently shot a couple of boxes of Standard Plus and my rifles just didn't care for it. A different lot might shoot differently. A fellow who shoots in our "Cheap Ammo" match on the IBS target uses SK Rifle Match in his Anschutz. In the past 7 matches he has shot five scores of 500, one score of 499 and one 498. That's 3497 of a possible 3500. His X count was 182 of a possible 350 or 52%. Another fellow we both shoot against shot 3500 of a possible 3500 in the last 7 matches in his custom Suhl using SK Pistol Match Special. His X count was 186 or 53%. I don't win many matches. LOL
I was pleasantly surprised the Rifle Match 'only' kept up with the Standard Plus.
I use Standard Plus in 'informal' club shoots and it performs very well.
Oft times no flyers and as consistent as CTR-X. (a good deal of the time) 😲

Sk is great ammo but never see it in our area anymore
It seems target and/or match ammunition is only available from internet sources, in my experience.
@@22rimfireultra67 cpl mom&pop shops used to carry it but now in this communist state of ny haven’t had it in over a year. Supposed to be a shop near Fayetteville by Syracuse that still has it as well as eley going to make a trip down soon as I can get the address to the place
