I ordered this and received it today. Compared it to my decant of Santal 33. This is my 4th and final attempt to find a clone that's close enough.
This is the best clone I've tried. They are REALLY CLOSE. I'd say 90%-95%. The major difference that I can tell is that Emir Rich Santal is a little lighter, and has less leather. Other than that, its pretty much spot on. There is leather, but its more of a suede than a tanned leather.
Im happy I purchased this and will definitely use this whole bottle, but the leather they use in the real Santal 33 was what i was really after (reminds me of horse saddles and my childhood) so ill have to save up and buy a 100ml of the real thing. In the meantime i will be wearing Emir Rich Santal almost every day and will repurchase again to help keep me from going through my Santal 33 so quickly.

This might be the video that made me get a bottle. I have a sample of Santal 33 which I loved, and Rich Santal is almost identical and I love it. 3-4 sprays to fill the room and it lasts around 6-8hrs on me.

Good attempt, 98% was too generous i guess but yeah no complaint (I'd say 85%-90%). The only set back was its lacking projection (not sure about the earlier version if any though)(or is this the only version they have). Got mine recently, needed for like >15 sprays. Sillage n cloud is there, especially on cold windy nights. Fantastic still

I've tried 4 different dupes of Santal 33 so far. I own a decant of the real thing to compare to.
1. Rich Santal by Emir
2. Santal Supreme by Le Monde Gourmand
3. Jungle Santal by Finery
4. Palo Santo by Cremo
Rich Santal is the closest, followed by the very cheap (but good) Santal Supreme, then Jungle Santal, then Palo Santo.
I don't know if Steven is paid to do these reviews or not, like the other comments said, but the breakdown he gives of Rich Santal in this video is spot on. It's a really good clone. The biggest difference is that it's lighter and has more of a suede leather. I'd say it's 90%-95% similar.
For $20-$25, Santal Supreme by Le Monde Gourmand is also very close. I'd say 85%-90% similar. The difference there is that the opening has some soapyness to it and a touch more florals. But the drydown is very very close to the real thing.
Without the real thing to compare it to side by side, I'm pretty sure both Rich Santal and Santal Supreme would fool almost anyone into thinking they were the real Santal 33.

I am at the bus now. Its rainy and nighttime here in Philippines and dude! This scent performs well! The projection is beyond 2 hours. And I guess more until i reach my destination after 3 hrs

Got 5 ml real le labo only smells like dry hay on me , decided to get emir clone ,same think, but after like one month I craved it put it on and started really getting different opening on my skin ,besides dry hay, I still don’t love it and don’t think it’s worth paying for original bottle, emir is 98% smells like real think and worth buying , no one will tell the difference while wearing it, great clone
Got the bottle exact clone worth every dime....
*After getting through the entire bottle.i take back my original post saying its exact. I would say its about 98% there is a sweet factor that is missing. Also the longevity is not as long lasting on my skin. Still every dime. I would layer with something sweet.

I just got mine, i really smell that pickle lol. Smells like pickle juice and leather shop in the opening.
Update: Dry down smells like medicine/ antibiotics pee… I really don t recommend it.

Look a bit like the Maisson Margiela bottles.
Just purchased a bottle and upon first sniff I get a pickle juice smell also. Not sure what that is about.

There is also a very good clone I found at TJ Maxx for $12.99 called Desert Santal by Tru… it’s not the best clone but a very good TWIST !!!
Desert Santal by Tru is more light,airy, and buttery and is missing a lot of the notes and depth that Santal 33 has but it gives a very similar feel but just lighter.
It does have however great performance as it has good projection (although not beastly) and lasted me 8-12 hours consistently

I bought this and its really super close. I have 30ml of Santal 33, a gift from my cousin and i dont want to spend so much to get a new one so i think this is a good alternative. It lasts 4-6 hrs but longer when sprayed on hair. I still smell it the following morning. Thanks for the review, i got it based from watching you.🌸

Have you try Kaviar Gauche? I never smell Santal 33 but when I try this Emir line, I was shocked because it smells like Kaviar Gauche. For me Kaviar Gauche is like "how I imagine Heaven Garden would smell like"...
Kaviar Gauche only have 3 components
Top notes : Pink Pepper
Middle notes : Peony
Base Notes : Woodsy Notes
Please please try and review the Kaviar Gauche, I really want to hear your thougts on that Parfume....
If you say that Emir has the same long lasting and sillage like Santal 33, then I must tell you that Kaviar Gauche are doing waayy more better great job in term of longetivity and silage... I feel like I want to bathed in Kaviar Gauche...
I still love Emir Rich Santal obviusly as this will be a cheaper closer smell I can find on Kaviar Gauche
For me Clean reserve SEL SANTAL is the best dupe, even better. Sometimes I buy Le Labo beard oil and use it as perfume . Smells like santal 33 , cheaper but weaker version.

Dose Rich Santel last at all? I love the sent of Santel 33, but it doesn't last at all for the price you pay.
Weird. Thats not my experience at all.
When i spray Santal 33 on a jacket, I can still smell it days and days later... Sometimes even after washing.
Currently, all I have is a 5ml decant of Santal 33, and every time I walk by my collection, all I can smell is santal 33--through the closed vial from several feet away.
Maybe you just become nose blind to it easily? It's easily one of the longest lasting fragrences I have.
I think I may give this one a try. Thanks!
