Clone houses have really been lighting it up the past couple years, and it’s because they now have the capacity and funding to do so. To take their fragrance impressions to the next level, they need the funding. We’ve all given it to them the past few years, and the result is them being able to tone it down on the harsh, synthetic chemicals. I’m loving this!
Sir I am struggling to get Liquid Brun anywhere right now and Althair is my favourite niche scent I've ever smelled, thank you for letting me know about such a great dupe!
@@snubbii9276 I think it's getting out of hand though. I have almost every Parfums de Marly and then I had to get the middle eastern clones and the USA clone house versions. I have enough fragrance where they will have to embalm me with them when I die.

The Althair sample I have smells incredible on my skin. Would love the Liquid Brun so I have the scent for winter. So sweet with a slight animalic tinge from the guaic.

Hi from New Zealand. Love your vids mate, you've kick started me on my fragrance journey and I have now bought 10 of your recommendations so far. Bit more difficult to get these fragrances in NZ without paying over a $100 though. Do you have any suppliers that freight to NZ for a reasonable price? Kind regards, Deano
@@psman74 Me too! I got my order from FragFlex, and the box said 100ml - 3.4 oz on the back, instead of the 80ml I have seen on the front of the "normal" box. (my box had nothing written on the front in that space) My box looked the exact same, even had the foil sticker on it. I was worried I got a bootleg or something until I smelled the fragrance. The bottle itself has no measurement markings on it, other than the title and the embossed french avenue on the back - so I have no way of knowing if it really is a 100ml - judging by the size of the presumably 80ml bottle in this video, I am dubious that mine is a bigger bottle, but I guess I'll never know lol.
I'm into that Liquid Brun bottle design. Something about it just feels....right. In the hand. Someone needs to make a blue one. Then a green one. Maybe a black one. A blue, green and black one? 🤔 Si.
Another Amazing less hyped Althair clone is Eagle Star from Scentual Obsessions. Imo. 90%-95% close to the PDM, and cannot see the hyped Liquid Brun being better .
I do buy clone fragrances and have originals too, I use the clones a lot more than originals, and almost all of them have been a pleasant surprise great bang for buck, no, I'm not cheat, but why pay up to 500 dollars for a fragrance that can cost you 40. I am still adjusting to my bottle of Shaghaf Oud Azraq. The oud is too much for me right now. Same for Shaghaf Oud (gold bottle) 😅. But these UAE scents change, and so does my interest in them. It always grows over time. I couldn’t stand Lattafa Bade Al Oud - Oud for Glory at first, but I kept thinking about its lingering tangy note. Now I love it.
It’s actually pretty wild to me how much price point affects how much I enjoy a scent. A really expensive scent does generally smell of higher quality but because of the price tag, I tend to enjoy it a little less. But something really inexpensive that smells more expensive makes me really appreciate it a lot more. Just like how you grade things on a curve, I’m constantly doing it with everything.
I got my bottle of Asad last year off Amazon for ~$13. The seller only had them up for that price for about an hour before they corrected their mistake and raised it $20 more. Fulfilment was through Amazon so I was sent the bottle.
I would love to have a bottle of Liquid Brun! I am just starting my fragrance journey and got to smell Althair at Nordstrom’s but can’t afford it right now.

Limited Edition is much better fit for me. CNDIM even 2 years later is still so harsh that I get a headache from it. But the Limited Edition is smooth, pleasant & nice. It’s great!

I have several clone fragrances that are alternatives to some mentioned in this video. Ultime and Althair are two that I do not have. Liquid Brun has been on my radar since it was first mentioned, so it might have to be the one that I Target for my collection next.
