She felt better once her daughter came up with a way to stay safe at night while she figured out if she just needed to break up with him or if she needed a safety-centered escape plan. Until he got even bolder after that incident and she had to react in the moment.

What sort of plan did she need past blocking him? I would call it denial, but denial doesn't jump out of bed like that. His assumptions in his messages that the daughter would definitely have him if he dumped her mom would make me think my daughter may have already been groomed. And if that was the case and I just blocked him, my teen daughter might still go seek him out.
