If anyone is having issues with their Displacement Map effect not expanding beyond the png's borders. Just make a copy of the png's effects and delete all the effects on the png layer. Then right-click on the png file and select 'Pre-compose'. Paste those copied effects back onto the new png composition and the border effect issue should be sorted.
I love this effect! Tbh your entire channel is a godsend. You are truly such an inspiration in the motion design field for me, not only are you extremely talented but you share your resources and knowledge to everyone! Coming from a high school student with improper training, your channel has taught me so many useful things I find myself exploring more and more. Overall, thank you!
