Dude, I'm VERY picky about which tutorial channel I subscribe to. But after watching this, there was no way I was not going to subscribe. This is such a simple and fantastic tut! I prefer tutorials that help you learn to make your own effects WITHOUT PLUG-INS. I own several plug-in effects, but it is always preferrable to know how to build it from scratch! Keep your thing I thoroughly enjoyed this! Thanks again!
This is the most challenging tutorial I've done so far. The thing is that in some 50% of them the author misses to explain a part. So far I got all that you were doing and it is a lot of things. With each thing you showed there was a chance that you wold forget to tell something. Yet you've done ti without any flaws (I did not get to the end yet). Also, as a suggestion, I would love to see tutorials on how to create "cartoonish" looking effects.
I followed nicely but at 4:55 I got stock. where the evolution numbers get red and you type numbers in that layer? I dont know the name of this acion to search it either. Can someone help?
your tuto is good. however it will be best with ZOOM ON CURSOR in other to see the values of number you enter. also written notes will facilitate the practice of your tutos. GOOD CONTINUATION MAN
Not even 30 seconds in, and I'm already lost... At 0:30 can you explain what hot keys you're hitting instead of just flying through, assuming everyone is an expert at AE?
Awesome video man! I just 1 have a Question: How do I make the fractal noise to spawn from the middle and go to all corners (sorta like an explosion ) the corner pin only does it from side to side and I'm looking to create a sort of radial explosion with the fractal noise (from the middle to every side)?
you still can use corner pin .. you need to move the left of the layer with the fx to the center of the comp and center left 2 pins of corner pin to the center as well and the rith pins stretch them away to get the look just around 45 degree then duplicate the layer 4 time to cover the whole comps try that and see if its the look what you looking for :)
@@NobleKreative I'm in the middle of making a portfolio website. And animation is one of my abilities. So I've been looking through after effects tutorials and I came across this. I have a question. I applied the contrast and brightness of the fractal noise to the same value, but unlike the tutorial video, the excessively white part gets brighter. Is there something I'm missing?

So far, I've been improvising by creating color mattes for each layer but I stopped at 2:10 of tutorial because I don't have Fractal Noise in my Effects. I only have: - Dust & Scratches - Median - Noise - Noise Alpha - Noise HLS - Noise HLS Auto
Great tutorial mate - But I'm stuck at a very trivial thing. I've done all the things you said and see the comps animating when I drag the playhead across from keyframe to keyframe. BUT - Whenever I do the preview by hitting Spacebar - everything just sits still. Nothing moves. What the heck am I doing wrong? It's driving me nuts :D = AE Noob here
Strangely enough, did a new comp and just keyframed some text across from left to right - that's moving correctly :'( why -- MY BAD - TURNS OUT MY TIMELINE WAS IN SECONDS SO THE KEYFRAME WAS TOO FAR AWAY TO ANIMATE VISIBLY :D

another method is applying blur and dodge/burn over noise applied to a saturated color, but it's not as good for animated stuff i think

How to do you make the Turbulance Key frame go so fast? Mine go super slow.
just make a higher value in the second keyframes
This is a stretch but can this be done in Premiere? I don't have After Effects.
Wslasher the name can differ .yes You can do the same steps on PR too those effects are common . Fractal noise is the key for this tutorial
Could you point out the differences? Apologies if I sound too demanding.
There is no difference jus on naming this fx . Try it out on PR and let me know how it turns out

just depend on your comp duration

make sure there is random or extra keyframes on offset turbulence
