That's hard to believe Garak was only in 39 episodes. Seems like so much more than that. Goes to show how much of an impact he had as a character!

Tell me about it. My fave character and I never noticed that. Sublime performance by the actor, especially so when you read up about him.
I thought that too. I loved the multilayered character that was Garak.
I met Andrew Robinson at a signing in a suburban shopping mall near Sydney and found him an engaging personable man.

I tried to donate a few $ on indiegogo but the deadline had expired. I saw a few episodes of DS9 in the 90s but have really enjoyed catching up with it on Netflix. It's aged exceptionally well for a sci-fi show. Looking forward to the documentary.

I'm surprised by the surprise shown by people over how much support the "What We Left Behind: DS9 Documentary" has received on Indiegogo. Somehow DS9 got stuck with the label of being the red-headed step child of the Star Trek universe. I knew this campaign would strike a chord with fans. DS9 rivals TOS for how their stories remain socially, culturally and politically relevant today. I'm stoked over this project and in seeing the enthusiasm that the writers, cast & crew still have for this series that made up just a small part of their lives. I was shocked by the unbelievable stat Andrew Robinson dropped on us in the video. There is no way in Gre'thor that Garak was only in 39 episodes of DS9. He remains one of my favorite "alien" roles in all the Trek universe. Keep Boldly Going DS9!!!
I'm so looking forward to see the clips in HD if only for future blu-ray releases.

Same. 7 Seasons on DVD, I rewatched it with my daughter a couple years' back and she loves DS9 now too :)
