      I wonder if the injection site make a difference. I felt like it did for me. That’s why I stick with my stomach and just rotate from left, middle, right.

      @TracesofTwaunsLife Good morning!!! Normal my stomach and thighs are my sweet spots, but this last shot in my thigh left my thigh sore for nearly 5 days. It actually bruised. I forgot to mention that in the video. I (me not a medical expert) thinks it because of the muscle in my leg. 🦵 I did consider that when thinking about the .6 weight loss.

      So true! I will take it! 🥹 It was just so frustrating because in my mind, I was going to break the number barrier. At that time, it was .4. 😳 My heart dropped! But, some loss is still a loss. You are right! Thanks, Twaun! 🫶🏾

    My trainer told me be prepared for possibility of the scale going up with increased exercise because new exercise or increased exercise (especially in the heat) can cause temporary inflammation and corresponding water retention. He said it will self resolve and release as you continue to exercise. Don't lose heart Allanda You got this!!

    Keep it moving girl. I moved up to 7.5 2 weeks ago. The first 7.5 shot I felt like it didn’t even go in I was so hungry all week. But gurrrrl. The 2nd shot and the 3rd shot (today) …hunger WHEREEEE. The zep is zeppinnnn

    The weigh in’s are not the only wins. Weighted vest added ,resisted old behaviors, and stayed on track. Probably losing inches. Keep it up. You got this! 🎉❤

    Hey Allanda, first I will start by sayiing I LOVE your videos. For the tiredness, I suggest trying B12 tablets for a day or tow after injections. It helps!

      @@Allanda180 Yes all is well. Taking it day by day. I do understand how you feel though. I had to check myself recently because I had a real bad week. I lost but then gained the few pounds back which took me back to the weight I started out that week.🤬 I just dusted myself off and looked forward to a new week. I realized what I did wrong so I won’t be making that mistake again. I’m not going to rush it but I’ll just enjoy the journey. Yes we got this.

    You are doing good. I think we all have those days/weeks when we feel like nothing is happening. Trust the process. I walk everyday. I don’t worry about how long either. I am just trying to move. I do different videos to break things up. 😊

    Don’t forget as you use the weighted vest, you could be gaining muscle which will impact your weight loss - if your scale tracks other measurements like skeletal muscle mass and visceral fat - you’ve got this ❤

    My weight also fluctuates all the time. I workout pretty much everyday and it seems like there are days when I workout super hard and the scale may not change that day, but the next day the scale will go down 2 or even 3 pounds. Please don’t be discouraged- keep going… you’re doing great!!! The teens are coming…the 190’s are so close!!!

    Wonder if you have some inflammation for wearing the weighted vest with your knee hurting? Could you be losing some visceral fat and it not show up on the scales and might not be as obvious? Don't know, but does gaining muscle slow down the weight loss showing on the scale?
    Have you gone closet shopping lately to find something that you can almost fit into? I do this at times when my weight loss slows. When I put it on again and find that I can wear it, I do my happy dance like Snoopy! Hope this idea might perk you up when the scales are not being as kind and gracious as we hope they are going to be!!! LOL! We are here to support you and lift you up each week.🤗🤗

    You’re doing great and muscle weighs more than fat so with wearing the vest and walking, you’ve probably added muscle. I generally measure my body about once a month and I’m always dumbfounded by the inches I’ve lost……even the scale isn’t moving.

      @@Allanda180 I had a weight stall for almost 2 weeks (talk about frustrating), but I did lose about 3 inches so I took it in stride and called it a win 😃. Said a lot of prayers and the scale finally caught up 😅

    Remember take measurements as well as the scale cause the scale fluctuates. The weighted vest is great my ex-husband had one he left with me that I use he’s navy reserve. I notice when I strength train I and lifts weights the scale either stays the same or moves slowly or even adds so I start taking measurements and looking how my clothes fit. I know everybody is different but do not get defeated you are doing great. I know it’s hard I want to throw my scale like a frisbee sometimes lol but don’t give up because you leveled up! You are doing AMAZING ❤Remember you did not gain you are still losing weight!

    I am a weirdo and weigh everyday (just because I am a creature of habit and it keeps me from forgetting to do it the same day weekly). 😂 I also donate plasma 2x a week so they weigh me and always ask "Do you want to know your weight?".... Girl I can tell you what it is before I even get on it😅

      OMG!!!! Funny not funny story! My family and I are big on blood donations. Even though, I usually can’t donate due to low iron and now the blood thinner. My 22 gives plasma at least two a week, too! Well, last week with the hurricane, the local blood bank was asking for plasma donations and with me having the minor surgery this week, I was off the blood thinner. So to beat the heat, my daughter and I went. I was so happy that I was able to donate! 😁 This Wednesday, I get a letter from the blood bank asking me to not donate plasma in the future! 🤦🏾‍♀️ I carry some antibodies that can be harmful to those receiving my plasma. Not sick, not deadly, but not preferred! Of course, this is my outcome! 🤷🏾‍♀️ Thank you for your donations!!! And thank you for the support! ❤️

      @Allanda180 So sorry that they are deferring your ability 😔 Interesting thing is that I am also an advocate of blood donation and had been consistently donating whole blood for free since I was a senior in high school. Red Cross used to come to my school. I started donating plasma about 6 or 7 years ago. I am O+ so everybody with any + blood type can receive my blood. Anyway, before Zepbound I would often have to wait because my iron or protein was low. I have been tracking my food forEVER... but not focused on nutrients until Zep. For the last 3 months ZERO issues with any stats. One day she was like "protein 7.5" and I was like 🤯 I am usually PRAYING for 6.0🤣 Anywho, I started plasma in MD and then VA but now I live in CO and it pays A LOT more out here. If I donate 8x in a month, it's $440 which I can apply to that 550 so only have to come up with another $110... win win, saving lives...including my own 😉

    I know you have heard it before but muscle weighs more than fat! I exercise in a weighted vest IN THE WATER 💦. I have a knee replacement and I am 10 years older than you. I’m also a personal trainer!! Look at joining a pool💞

      Wonderful question! This is week 7 on the 7.5mg. It’s been pretty good, but days like today (day after the shot) I am exhausted! 🥱

      @@mamicara Love this question! I see my PCP in August and she and I will discuss whether to move up to 10mg. I have one more 7.5mg pen, so I will probably get another 7.5 box before the appointment. I will see what the next few weeks bring, but definitely something to consider! ☺️
