Welcome back.Glad you kept the RSV4
The RSV4 is a bike I will probably keep a few more years. WTF do I even replace a bike of this caliber with? I'm deff not spending close to 40K for a V4S that doesn't come close to the sound this bad boy makes. Fingers crossed Aprilia updates this bike in the near future.. Will surely upgrade!

Ya, good to be back!
Couple things.
1. Really surprised you got rid of the 765 over the Aprilia, but then again I'm biased and personally prefer the mid sized bikes... like the 765 (I got a 22 RS)
2. I guarantee Yamaha will replace the R1 with something along the lines of a R9, using the CP3 engine with a bit more power, like they did with the R7. Would be a great bike.... but still not an R1.
3. With regards to the new "Daytona" that Triumph is offering, the shop I deal with has some coming in and apparently from what they've heard and seen it doesn't look to bad. It is the 660 engine, with some Tger 660 fairings and Trident tail section but apparently will have a bit more power than both.... just something to consider, might be a couple bucks more than that ZX4 but look at what you get in stock form.
I was paying $800 in insurance per year and bike was sitting collecting dust so it was just $8500 sitting not collecting interest.. had to do what I did.
Yamaha needs another liter bike. They’ve been talking about an R9 for ages.

Great to have you back! Definitely would be great to get some MotoGP content, i think it's going to be a good year but it'll be a sea of Ducati's as usual. KTM seem to be the next closest team followed by Aprilia. Yamaha did well today getting both bikes into Q2 but given they've hired a bunch of ex-Ducati engineers, I think they'll get back up there eventually.
I certainly don't understand what Yamaha is doing with their sportbikes. Honda is bringing back the CBR600RR and a heavily updated Fireblade (which looks absolutely amazing in the flesh) while Yamaha just gave up on their bikes. You can't even buy the new CBR600RR here as their allocation for 2024 was already sold out by February (even after increasing their 2024 allocation several times until it was 2.5 times the original).
I’m in shock @ Yamaha.. maybe they are basing their sales vs how they are performing in motogp? I doubt it but still.. at one time they were on top! As for CBR.. thank god they are still making 600’s.

With those beautiful mirrors does it get rid of the front turn signals? Or is there a option?
The indicators are now integrated with the front lights like EU bikes.. any tune you choose will enable this feature.

zx4rr is small and extra nimble and no torque ... make sure you realize what the zx4rr is. I'm cool with that because it's my "small bike" in the stable. Northern CA, mine was 11.8k otd. Also have the '24 765 RS Moto2. I'm hoping that the new cbr600rr comes to the USA in 2025, and if it does, also in black and not just the red/blue.
small / nimble is what I want.. I know it's not a powerful bike but that's not really what I am after. I kinda wanna embarrass liter bike dudes on the track with it haha.. would be fun!! but anyway... I'm looking to pay 7-8k for a used one. No more.
ZX4RR is awesome, but there’s a lot of fun bikes.
Tell me about it.. so many choices but ZX4RR 16K rpms in every gear and you’re only doing 70 mph lol

Yes.. R6 is a legend but very expensive atm. Too bad Honda left us with the gay version of the CBR 600 in the states smh

@@PetroHead HD had a lot of RD into on/off road years before an Adventure segment existed. In true HD fashion, they waited forever to actually release it.
