I grew up in Roswell NM, and spent many days out at Bottomless Lakes. The tower towards the beach area was the old water tower, it was removed in the early 1960’s. The tower and pavilion was built by the Civilian Conservation Core ( CCC ). There are multiple tables along the Bluff Trail and down towards the visitor center they also that were built by the CCC. When I was a kid late 60s early 70s there was an Olympic size swimming pool at the beach area to swim in that they used water from the lake to fill it. The swimming pool was removed in the late 70s to what it is today.
Nicely done
Thanks!
