If you're a modder out there, thanks guys. You're doing the lord's work, AAA Game developers are doing nothing in comparison to you guys. It's you modders who keep their games alive in many cases. Props to you.
Developers are often forced by stupid executives and shareholder demand to do things against their vision and understanding. And then get blamed for it, while the assholes who don't (care to) comprehend creative endeavours because of the dollar signs in their eyes are the actual culprits.

@@wawawuu my point still stands. Modders hold up a lot of AAA games. To be honest, I could care less who's fault it is. The blame for these things can rarely be put on one party or another, it's usually on multiple people. The consumers for still buying the trash getting pumped out, the executives for forcing developer's hands, and on many developers for half assing their games. It's not one party or another specifically, but actually all parties involved.

You often say how surprised you are that people watch you, but you're probably the best VR reviewer on youtube. You play big name games and hidden gems with barely a lobby's worth of players. You even revisit games when theyve changed significantly. Top tier content creator.

If it doesn't stop growing, it WILL be noticed by the evil eye of Disney. When that happens, this WILL dissappear. They will send out their mafia of lawyers and bully the game developers to remove it. If we could somehow decentralize it, it would be immune to this. Enjoy it while it lasts.

I’m here for the glass-half-full reviews with actual gameplay b-roll and first-impressions. Most other short-form game content is powerpoint dramatizations of blog-posts talking about specs and competitors; as though I’m too dumb to know the specs already, or cultured enough to have that frame of reference.

This takes me back...I remember spending hours with my friends on the PS Magazine demo disc for the original Battlefront before it came out in full. Nothing but Endor.

Best fps shooter for android vr. Facebook has regrets it bought the onward developers instead of contractors bahahaha where is onward 2? But a quest2 update for the old game so it doesn't run on quest1 is the best you can do after 5 years bahahaha

Habie if you didn't know the Tf2 contractors mod got an update too, now you can ubercharge as medic and double jump as scout. And, most importantly, they added hats!
The modding community is single-handedly willing good VR games into existence
Haha, was just playing contractors clone wars last night, I was in hilly territory with a patrol buddy, we were flanking to capture one of the points when we saw a super battle droid, I screamed “GET DOWN THERES A SUPER BATTLE DROID!” And apparently because I had push to talk off which meant I could talk without pressing the com, he could hear me, and our top secret mission was compromised when we were lying down behind a hill and saw the cannon fire just shooting over us, it was amazing seeing the shells fly over us and blow up behind us. While everyone was trying to kill the super battle droid, I was just looking at his cannon shots and follow them while they were flying over me, it reminded me of in band of brothers when they were bombarded by a bunch of artillery fire absolutely obliterating the landscape, IT WAS AMAZING!
Also a few more nights ago, I was playing this winter map in clone wars and it was super foggy, it was like a mystery box trying to find out which point the enemy is capturing, anyways it was a network of snowy roads with steep hills on the side just going like that over and over again, it was a pretty big map and some of our tactics were just lobbing grenades over our side of the point to the other side of the hill to take out enemies and then charge down onto them. Anyways we were walking down trying to capture “B? Is that it? Oh no that’s A! Oh wait, no, its A1, yeah guys let’s go to A1” so me and my platoon were going to “A1” and while we were capturing it, I was like stressing out because I was super terrified that they would like jump on us from the sides or Anakin would come out of the mist and do his warcrimes. And that’s exactly what happened, while I was squinting my eyes trying to see 10 meters in front of me on the road, I just saw, a blue lightsaber light up, AND EVERYONE, EVERYONE, BEGAN TO SCREAM, droid were running left and right, everyone was like “ABORT ABORT! ANAKIN IS HERE! RUN!!!” And he started chopping off all of our mens limbs when suddenly, he stopped chasing the other ones and saw me and another guy trying to hide under some rubble, I said, NO CAP, “I’m not the commander! He’s the commander!” *and pointed at the guy next to me* he chopped that guy, and then I said I AM COMPLETELY SERIOUS, “well, guess I’m the commander now” and then he killed me while laughing sooo hard! Even after I died i wasn’t annoyed or anything because I’ve been wanting to do that to Anakin for the entire match! And I did it! Guys, contractors is amazing.
Got my best bro into vr recently and last night we gave the swbf 2 mod on contractors a go and I swear I’ve never heard him happier, it was such a “blast” man
I got this game cuz of you, been playing Star Wars, halo, tf2, titanfall, and dayz. Sadly I never see and revolutionary war lobbies
The combination of fantastic mod support for most games, immersion, and overall fun is making VR my primary medium for gaming. This SWBF mod and the CoD Nazi Zombies mod are fantastic, there’s a few bad ass Halo mods out there too.
Beautiful. VR remains out of reach for me for now, but I'm grateful to have someone sharing the Wild West era of it for people like me. Thank you for sharing again.

Seeing even the BattleFront 1 maps makes me so happy that they really poured real heart into this mod.
Played this the other day and was blown away by all the features in this mod. I’m not even a Star Wars fan but this is the funnest VR shooter experience out there IMO. It’s pretty damn immersive too tbh you really feel like you’re on some alien station fighting for control. I really wish they’d do something like this with the Halo mod I’d love to have this level of gameplay with Halo models for weapons/players and maps.
I love the way you just anticipate your death when you get word that Dooku has entered the battle
Really encapsulates the hopelessness of the common footsoldier soldier, be they clone or battle droid, when a Jedi\Sith is standing against them
I'm gonna pay 20 dollars for contractors JUST to get this mod. really good job you guys who made this.
Contractors remains my fav multiplayer VR game. 80% due to the custom maps and mods. The devs made a really solid base for modders, love to see it. Getting those 90s feels.

Seeing Dooku, hearing our screams of panic as we fill him with shots, not slowing him down. All in VR. Would recommend.
Contractors really is great! For the most part, it all feels very good to play. When I discovered the Star Wars mods, not that I'm a huge fan of the series, I was blown away by the level of detail. Yes, we absolutely get better content from unpaid modders, because they have something that most of the gaming industry lacks nowadays, and that's passion.
This is one off my favorite things in existence. Whoever made this I love you 😂
I think this is the first VR game ive seen that lets you drive a vehicle in a shooter. cant think of anything else really. and its a f**kin mod. wow
Respect the modders putting their passion into these modes. You would think there is enough evidence out there of passion=success that it would be more encouraged at the triple AAA level, but maybe that doesn't fit on a spreadsheet? Who knows!
