The vibes are better and if you encounter a problem......it just doesn't seem as bad.Owned an auto repair shop and spent 35 years working on cars and boats, but when at the marina and having someone need a hand with an engine it was still more relaxing and enjoyable than at the shop. The water does that. I guess. Leo's friends and connections are a joy to behold and I can appreciate the talent and commitment that everyone shows. WELL DONE LEO, as we all continue watch from the sidelines.
Congratulations on a smooth move to the new shop. Raul and Darlene were such great hosts for your project, I hope the next door neighbor understand what a heel they are!

So blown away by the global support and enthusiasm by all for this project. This project is a light at the end of a long covid tunnel, I just thought for a moment about the launch , and it put a lump in my throat . The day she splashes in will be such a party. So many people the world over are now part of the TALLY CREW
I think it’s amazing that Patrick has been there for so long and just now plugged himself in a video. It really shows the character of the crew that is working with Leo and that they are really just there too be a helping hand.
You are an excellent shipwright, craftsman, politician, leader and consensus builder. I wish I lived closer to help. I’m glad you and Pete are so close. You two are becoming legends.

We all must thank you too - it's clear that you touch many around the world with more than one hundred and thirty thousand views within one day of posting. Wow! All the very, very best as Tally Ho progresses over the next 2 years.
So good to see Tally Ho (and Leo!) next to the sea, where they belong. It only struck me today, how little actual sea we've seen over the last 'two' years. Good to see Pancho again too - that should keep the viewing numbers up! The only sad thing is how much Tally Ho has shrunk - all these years she's been such a huge boat, but now she looks so small in that enormous shed...
you guys are some of the most inspirational people i know on the planet - i reckon all said about the having to move the boat to Port Townsend has done you guys a world of good - pulling your resources together and things falling into place just at the right time is amazing - i don't reckon building Tally Ho will be the end of things - you will certainly have so much more to come later - Tally Ho will become your bench mark i think of many adventures to come - all the best for all your future great to see Pancho joining the team - i love her little video entries
LOL! Good one Pete... "Tally Oh will be completed in two years" dude you're hilarious, not like that has not been said before. Leo, I love what you are doing.
Seeing Pancho at your new location really brought things together for me. I appreciate that your friends are so faithful to you. I'm faithful to you too as I watch and see such amazing progress, positivity and skill in so many areas! I just can't express the influence you've had on me by your ability to adjust and progress when all seems overwhelming. Kudos to you. You're in a great place with friends and assets galore. You deserve it.
Yah, she probably is the most calm and engaged during the whole boat processes and this is a good way to slowly wain her off it in the next few years so she doesn’t think Leo abandon her or doesn’t like her. Birds will do that and hold grudges for a long time.
the whole country and neighbour chaos has proved the following so true. I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.
What a wonderful working place you got there Leo! And bonding with the other shipwrights as well by sharing space. Clever thinking! Now it’s time getting your new routine going on! Good luck with that. Nice to see Rowan’s back. Such a nice guy!
This is the most wholesome series I watched this year, all 103 episodes of it! Thank you Leo for letting us be a part of it! It will be a long 2 years until we can see Tally Ho on water! Until then: I really hope you made up your mind and you will recast the Ballast keel! It is a huge and difficult task I know, but it will be much more safer, without cracks and air pockets from the original casting heat shrinkage. You will regret later if you don't do it now! It will have the same atoms, just remelted, it will be still 95% old material! Keep up the good work for the next 2 years! Give or take! :D
Brilliant! No more stress from the old workshop! Now you don’t have to waste energy on the negative. All positive from here on out! For me, A huge part of the enjoyment of the boat build is the music you choose to complement the video.
Wow! It's going to be so cool to not only see Tally Ho being built but to also see all the other boats and marine stuff at the new location. I live a thousand miles from an ocean and this stuff is so interesting to watch!
Aft er reading the last comment by Anthony I decided to leave my same comment exactly alone. I am constantly amazed at how the universe works. Never fear the good is just around the corner. Your doing such amazing work and your humanity is a testament to all . Thank you for sharing RC
What a beautiful set up, doesn’t hurt to smell the sea air too. Looking forward to the engine installation. It makes sense to have that installed before putting down the deck…cheers 😊👍🇬🇧🇨🇦
One theory I like is to complete the hull and deck, then install the systems, tanks, wiring and so on. I built new tanks for my trawler and would love to explain why that’s a good idea
@@vidguy007 yeah people always think it’s best to install everything then build around it. Unless you are building a design you have already built, so you know exactly where everything goes and how much room it will need. It’s best to build then install. That way when it’s time for it to come back out later down the road you know it can actually come out without cutting the boat all up.
So many wins! Enclosed shed and storage, 3 story classic workshop, in Port Townsend surrounded by wooden boat family and friends and best of all Pancho approves! Very well done.
Brought a tear to my eye when you were leaving Sequim and now again to see Pancho there in Port Townsend. All the best for the next stage from Pittwater Wooden Boats in Sydney
One of the things that amazes me about Leo’s project is the wealth of knowledge, talent, equipment, and allied businesses available even in and around a relatively small place like Port Townsend. I am often sad that we don’t have the same rich industry all around Australia. So it’s great to see someone keeping those traditions alive. Keep up the good work!
Glad to see all of you back at it, with the smell of the Sea that beckon,s all.....Go to Sea....Go to Sea, Fair Winds Blue Skys, and no Power outages..........
I love that Pancho got to come check out where everyone and everything went. You will have to have an agreement with Roul to bring her up as often as he needs a break. I'm sure she misses the activity and people she had been hanging with for such a long time.
Patrick is quite talented. Glad you made it to such a perfect place. The interaction with other boatbuilders and marine trades can do nothing but make Tally Ho even better during the final phases. 2 more years!
What a great journey Leo, I have been watching since I stumbled on your first episode when you first released it. Now we are on part two of the Tally Ho story. Great workshop
I was worried Pancho would be left behind. The boat is great, but that bird really makes my day every time. Glad things are working out. Leo, you are a very special person.
I have been watching the program for some time here in Portugal about the construction of a dream and for the dream to come true we must have someone who believes in us. We will soon sail this beautiful sailing ship. hug from Portugal 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
You have been an inspiration! I've gotten off my butt and made some long overdue repairs to my workshop. I've now discovered that I need a dedicated wood working area, so it appears that I'll soon be expanding the existing shop area. Thanks for sharing and reigniting my enthusiasm for tinkering on my various projects!
My father lived on Bainbridge Island, and we spent some time together in Port Townshend, including the boatyard. Your videos are going to become very nostalgic for me!
This is what sets top standards for TH-cam contend. So impressive. I can't wait to se her cache her first wind and start going, I can nearly feel it. But I'll surely come to miss these building videos. Congratulations with the new environment. And Now we know what Pete's doing. For the next couple of years 🙂
All I can say in wow. Not only she came a long way, but also you grown a lot a long with video quality. Not even mentioning all volunteers and of course Pete.
Amazing. Such a vital and authentically nautical area where the new work space is and I'm in awe of everyone involved. Patrick's ceramic pottery work is so elegant and Rowan's NYC library project is also pretty neet. After these videos I always feel inspired or compelled to say something but at the same time I feel like I can't say enough to express just how impressed I am by the whole thing and everyone involved. That leaves me a loss of words more often than not. I'm blown away both by how hard you all work but also by how much enjoyment or gratification you all seem to get from the work. On one hand, I almost feel sympathetic body aches from watching and imagining the physical work load. On the other hand, I confess feeling a bit envious, wishing I could be a part of the project, the crew and the community their. I always look forward to seeing every new biweekly video. Thank you.
Great space to get lady Tally Ho fitted out. Good stuff happens to good people!! Pancha seems to have settled in happily - your "good luck" ambassador in residence. I love the way that dispite various trials and tribulations along the way there remains a strong sense of optimism in your work. Refreshingly joyful, that's what it is.
The new shop looks great, Leo, definitely looks the part. Seeing Pancho just brought a huge smile to my face. Tally Ho might be the lead, but she is definitely a strong supporting actress and, without her, I don’t think the story could be told quite as well.
And now you’ve got a commercial boat building set up started. Well done Skipper, this is a beautiful dream to live out. The passive yet productive reaction to the very unfortunate situation you just overcame while working with the help of your new family members just gave you a boost in life, beautiful solution. I’m sort of annoyed that you’re doing this in the US as I’d love to get involved.. if I were there now, I’d be using your old boatshed structure to separate Tally Ho work space with polythene sheet from the rented out section to reduce contamination from any fibreglass or steel grinding dust.
Love your new place. I lived in Oregon and went to Port Townsend in Washington for the wooden boat shows. I have seen your shop and been inside in years past. I have lived now in Israel for ten years but I was born in the USA and love boat building. I have been involved in Steel Boats, Aluminium Boats, Ferro Cement Boats, Wooden Boats and Fiberglass Boat construction. You have a wonderful location to finish Tally Ho in a Bristol Manner! Keep sending your vids, it makes an old boat builder like myself happy to see young blood taking the place where I used to be. At sixty nine years young I might have a few boats left to build but mostly I love either sailing or fishing these days. Blessings for health and fair weather for you and your crew from Northern Israel, be safe!

Leo, you know the old saying: one door closes, another one opens. The one that has opened for you, your crew, and Tally Ho is huge, and best to you all going forward! And I hope Pancho gets to visit often ... ;~P
My gawd it’s nice to see the band back together. Even it it’s just a groupie like Pancho.
Groupie? Site manager, thank you.
@@53jed 🤣🤣🤣
@@53jed Yes groupie? She's the star of the show! ;-)
Ugh I know, she's so needy "squawk, I need to chew on Leo's wood - take me to him!"
i only watch for pancho we should make a long vid of only pancho doing parot things
beautiful. I'm extremely jealous of your hoard of clamps, planes, and on and on. I'm stoked on my 16" planer but 26 you said? wow. it's good to have good neighbors and friends, and better to have friendly neighbors with friends. now you'll be wondering what to weld and what to bolt and just say "let's just go ask carl" or whatever his name is next door. I look forward to seeing you meld with a professional community. the workshop is 1000% and you've got a great crew at present. give us some sailing as you settle in! cheers.
It's an exciting new phase of the project, and I'm glad Pancho was able to make a visit!
We will continue to watch the build wherever it's done.
As these types of birds are very social I’m glad to hear this. They can go through withdrawal when their social environment changes
Dear Jeff Geerling
👍👌👏 Same here, definitely!
Best regards, luck and health.
Hi Jeff, nice to see you here
(still grinding through your Kubernetes series right now in fact)
:D
Got the Ansible and Kubernetes crew in here! It makes sense, the name Kubernetes does stem from an Ancient Greek word meaning "Helmsman"😂 I always chuckle when I see your comments on these Tally Ho videos, glad you enjoy them too!
I doubt we’ve seen the last of Pancho
So blown away by the global support and enthusiasm by all for this project. This project is a light at the end of a long covid tunnel, I just thought for a moment about the launch , and it put a lump in my throat . The day she splashes in will be such a party. So many people the world over are now part of the TALLY CREW
I think it’s amazing that Patrick has been there for so long and just now plugged himself in a video. It really shows the character of the crew that is working with Leo and that they are really just there too be a helping hand.
No politics, just good people doing good things. I think this is what I find so satisfying about watching these videos.
You are an excellent shipwright, craftsman, politician, leader and consensus builder. I wish I lived closer to help. I’m glad you and Pete are so close. You two are becoming legends.
Thanks so much Leo and your amazing team. It's wonderful to see you all settling in to your new work space. Your videos are a joy and you are always so generous in your appreciation of team members and other supporters.
Yes Tally-Ho gets a bit of a reality check. And smaller still next to all the other boats in that busy yard.
I was thinking the same thing. Lol
How long is she anyways? I have wondered for a while. Maybe someday she will be tied up next to Arabella and it will look big again.
you guys are some of the most inspirational people i know on the planet - i reckon all said about the having to move the boat to Port Townsend has done you guys a world of good - pulling your resources together and things falling into place just at the right time is amazing - i don't reckon building Tally Ho will be the end of things - you will certainly have so much more to come later - Tally Ho will become your bench mark i think of many adventures to come - all the best for all your future
great to see Pancho joining the team - i love her little video entries
LOL! Good one Pete... "Tally Oh will be completed in two years" dude you're hilarious, not like that has not been said before. Leo, I love what you are doing.
Now that they're in PT, 2 years is beginning to sound reasonable.
For a really open ended timeline check out Project Binky. Those guys have been saying “two years” for the last six.
@@langdons2848 ah project binky. But it is in the finishing phase now, well almost, or it eventually will be almost done.
@@jakob.k_design Yes just another year or two I hear...
Ill just move the boat and workshop....Jeez what a job
the whole country and neighbour chaos has proved the following so true.
Seeing Rowan back put a smile on my face too.
What a win, win having the big steel shed between the two workshops! That couldn't have turned out better.
Pete sweeping the walls made me chuckle.
I just love all the networking. If only the world could be run this way.
Amazing hair game in the intro, Leo.
You need a time-lapse camera up in the roof space of the big shed, if you haven't already got one.
Ooh yes, that’s a nice idea!
After all the emotional endings, new beginnings. Your movies are not only about building a boat. They are highly inspirational. Thanks for that.
your new workshop is the envy of all who love the craft. Me included! Great find and a fine project.
Every time you post a new video it brings me so much joy, thank you for sharing this project with us
Thanks Leo. Your videos lift my spirits every time I watch them.
Pete rocks, such a hugely talented dude, love it!
Having severe shed envy
Tally ho!
Yeah, container prices are crazy at tge moment.
Be sure to get a hitch lock for the trailer so somebody doesn't pull a truck up and tow it away.
I love that bridge from the workshop to the boat. That's a really nice feature.
I think we know from where Tally Ho's plates and mugs are going to come from, when Leo gets round to stocking the galley!
It would be sweet to purchase a mug , just like the ones from Tally Ho!
i'm 100% down for a Tally Ho mug
I'll buy 8
I'd buy a Tally Ho mug too!
I'm sure she misses the activity and people she had been hanging with for such a long time.
a community of boatbuilders and a ship hangar in the middle. It can't be better!
And with Pancho as supervisor nothing can possibly go wrong.
Patrick is quite talented. Glad you made it to such a perfect place. The interaction with other boatbuilders and marine trades can do nothing but make Tally Ho even better during the final phases. 2 more years!
These are litteraly the most qualitative videos on youtube and they really make my weekend
The unity between boat people is awesome how they jump in and help each other where they can... Great Video....
You and Binky on the same day, it feels like Christmas!
My week has been made to see a new video!
WOOOOOOO! I have been sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for then next episode.
Thank you.
I tried that pottery thing with the Grandchildren. How they laughed as I scraped my masterpiece off the kitchen window, the floor, the dog....
At least you tried
@@johneverson2433 They're all grown up now, but never let me forget it.
Great space to get lady Tally Ho fitted out. Good stuff happens to good people!! Pancha seems to have settled in happily - your "good luck" ambassador in residence. Awesome Patric!!! - had the great privilege to work in a friend's pottery studio for 5 or 6 yrs up to 2001 before departing South Africa for the UK. Nothing quite like getting gloriously dirty and using your imagination and skill to make something lasting. You're certainly a talented potter - all the best!! Great too to have Pete and his buddies nearby. All the best Leo and crew - home is guaranteed till Tally Ho is afloat.
I love that Leo has a classic 'Fisherman's Sweater' to ingrain him as a sailor even more.
Yes
Have you woken from your dream yet? OH MY GOODNESS!! This is so awesome!! It’s like chapter two! So exciting!!
Love seeing the water behind you for the first time! Can't wait for the fit out. Cheers!
Thanks so much Leo, The Team, Raoul and Darlene for taking us All along on this Great Journey. It is a Real Privilege being able to live Your Lives 'Vicariously' from The Other Side of the World in New Zealand. Being a retired 'Engineer' I sure appreciate All the Talent, Dedication, Enthusiasm and Pure Drive in getting the Job done. All the Very Best to ALL, keep well and stay safe.... Cheers from Christchurch, NZ
26" planer, what a score! Looking great!😊👍
Good Fortune with the new move for everyone involved! Winter is not far off perfect time to have Tally Ho inside where she can be kept warm and out of the rain and snow
along with all of you!
I love the way that dispite various trials and tribulations along the way there remains a strong sense of optimism in your work. Refreshingly joyful, that's what it is.
I "see you" since 1st episode. I wish you the best, all of you. ♥️🇵🇹
We’ve been eagerly waiting for this episode! Thanks!
Great to see the boat in her new home and the team settling in :) Cant wait to see how yall get on
I live in Port Townsend and was happy to see you walking down the road near Boat Haven the other day. Welcome to town.
I just love the Port Townsend boat yard. I could roam around there all day long every day. Unfortunately my girlfriend isn't as enthusiastic.
Lots of work, wears me out. Amazing how time has flown from the first episode. I watch them all over and over. Fantastic team of workers.
