Hey man i was just wondering about your talent build, i was under the impression that light of the marytr wasnt worth running due to the heal absorb you get and how it interacts with divine toll. How does it feel and do you think its worth the trade off?
Yeah I have the same question because ellesmere says it’s worse actual through put it just pads the stats for parces because parces don’t factor the heal absorb you are causing
The issue is with light of the marytr you are still getting the absorb heals if you over heal someone with the holy shock that wasn’t missing any health
Howdy! I don't think it's as bad as people are saying (for keys). It is an overall hps loss, but provides me with larger spot healing at the cost of some personal survivability. I don't think it has cost me any keys or made my life harder yet, which is the main reason I haven't swapped. Having to spend the occasional extra WoG / EF on myself to remove the absorb probably does cost me some damage though. I'll be testing a couple other setups later in the week though to verify if my current interpretation is correct.
@@prodigyj3jessejohnson988 Hey! I hope my answer to @Pyrothraxas answered some of your questions about my reasoning as well. There was a recent update that mada logs subtract the absorb from your overall. I killed H Rash in my m+ build for a chance at the cloak today, and I lost ~7.5% overall from my parse www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/8W4KJZq6zBxaw7g1#fight=81&type=healing @prodigyj3jessejohnson988 So yeah, it's definitely not good for raid! I agree with your last comment - the absolute worst part of this talent (to me) is the entire value of the Shock transferring to the absorb, not just the amount overhealed. Hope they change that eventually...
