I'm glad The Alliance is going to get more of Aethas Sunreaver. He's actually a really cool character, and we don't interact with him much. I like doing his sad world quest too, where you pick up the stuffed animals for him. He's really holding it down in the ruins. It's nice that we're getting to spend some time with him.
Considering it’s just in game cut scenes I think they did an amazing job conveying the grief in losing a city and many of its people. I like epic war stories but they don’t mean anything if the aftermath is never explored.

WotLK and Legion were my two favourite expansions and Dalaran was always my favourite capital largely because of that, a lot of good memories from then. I'm glad they're adding this questline, will be a nice send-off, while moving on the Kirin Tor's story. And Kel'thuzad having Mr Bigglesworth in his mirror image is just the best little touch
anduin on Battlefield: heals 200 soliders at once and raised some of the from death.... Anduin when he sees Khadgar: your problems are beyond my emotional support.
The Light did that and they were likely not dead just wounded and that in a simple way, while Khadgar messes up his very own essence with his turning into arcane energy to survive being sucked into an ancient artefact. Obviously a bit harder to heal than just a cut with a sword.

A Paladin can bring a dead warrior back to life and heal their wounds, but Anduin can't bring Khadgar back to life AND HEAL HIS LEGS? Talk about a nerf.
technically in lore bringing people to life is pretty complicated and most examples are necromancy, the times people have been brought back from the dead completely in WoW are basically nonexistent, paladins and priests can heal, but not that much. The fact that Anduin was able to save Khadgar from an almost assured death is pretty impressive considering how doubtful he's been about his connection with the light.
I hope other classes will get something like this too. I know it can be completed by any class but mages must feel a strong connection to this certainly.
Apparently it was made by a mage Khadger is crushing on. He's probably fine but is pretending to be unable to walk just to score... which, given EVERYTHING the man's through is understandable.
I know it said "Work in Progress" but I do hope they add more than _11_ boats to the final scene... There were way more than 11 NPCs that died in Dalaran...

They weren’t big and powerful, but were essentially tactical nuclear weapons. Horde players can get one through the BC timewalking vendor actually. But, the larger one in this was a secondary one to the one that was dropped on Theramore. It’s a very slight retcon, but essentially the Kirin Tor had replicated the ones developed by Kael’thas’ forces, and upscale them dramatically in order to see if it could be done. One of them, the one that was dropped on Theramore, was stolen and actually used. This one was just kept within the vaults of the Violet Hold and happened to have survived the destruction of Dalaran.

its just a set up to get rid of dalaran since people loved the place too much and would want it in every xpack. they probably will add the rebuilding of dalaran in its original spot in new xpack at arathi
The fact that Khadgar, the guardian, of the most powerful mages in Azeroth couldn't muster up the creativity to conjure anything else for his transportation other than a modern looking wheelchair. THAT FLIES. It's funny how clear it is that the people who came up with this are not bound to a wheelchair themselves since a person who is actually disabled from their legs would never rub a wound like that. It's moronic padding. "Hey you disabled players we know how you feel and your feelings matter so we put this NPC in a wheelchair like you don't you feel included now?" And then Khadgar just fucking zooms away on his FLYING wheelchair.
Right so Khadgar is a strong straight white male, it's obviously a problem. It's impossible to kill Khadgar because he's a protagonist with plot armor. They can't turn him evil or make him look like the bad guy. They can't make him gay or black. So they must make him disabled. 10/10 writing at its finest. Not to mention Anduin's strictly european white family is now directly related to a black woman. And because of his looks they keep him acting like a sissy with mental issues in what is supposed to be a redemtion arc because otherwise he would look too strong as a straight white male.
