Only had a chance to play New York so far, but I love that this became an entire series. I think it's a more appropriate length for today's gaming sensibilities.

I totally agree with the order of the ones I know about (all except Berlin). London is my favourite of the bunch as well. The districts are a lot less fiddly than some of the others, and it just makes for a nice quick clean TTR game, perfect for us!

I’m a huge TTR fan but have not considered the small box versions. Maybe it’s time…. Berlin sounds super interesting with the mix of subway and street cars. Seems like a simplified version of Rails and Sails with trains and ships. Small box versions look like great filler games on game night and/or travel games!

Wow, that's funny how far our opinions are apart haha. I hate San Francisco because the tokens are just way too fiddly. Also they fall too easily when someone accidentaly bumps into the table. I also dislike London, because imho it gets overly complicated with the districts. Ticket to Ride is supposed to be a family game - short, lighthearted fun, and not getting into thinkiness at any point. Therefore, I enjoy New York as well as Amsterdam by far the most out of all these. Why? Because they take a perfectly good formula (base TTR) and add just a little bit extra (extra scoring/extra set collection) to the game to make it perfect. Also, I think cabs are way cooler than cable cars and double decker buses, but maybe I am alone on this one haha.. ;) Thanks for the video in any event. Interesting to hear your takes.

I have four of the five TTR small box games (I've been to SF, and I hate it), and I don't find the "districts" of London to be compelling. It takes too much effort to get the 4 or 5 point districts, and it's not worth the effort to get that that few points. I like Berlin because you have to choose your street cars and subway cars strategically and not run out of one or the other too early. I also like New York a lot, as well. It is no frills and easy to throw down.

thanks for your thoughts. We went to San Francisco last year with family and was surprised by the chilly wind. (which now makes sense since the coast is bringing the cooler air inland - just wasn't expecting it. :-) Loved riding the cable cars though

    Hi! Amazing vídeo 🎉
Just a question, for someone who plays with only 2 players most of the time which is the best???

I have all five but I am unable to rank them they are for me just a side game for the big versions.... and the big versions will soon become side games for the legacy. I could go on but that is my whole point.

Don't have Berlin, but of the other 4, Amsterdam is my favorite, NY is least favorite, SF and London . . . meh, about the same.
