I’m implementing this model right from the start with my business. I’m less than one year in and I’m ready to scale up with a template shop. I’m just starting to offer back end add-ons but my biggest takeaway is to make the add-ons a minimum # of months on a recurring package instead of a retainer on a monthly basis. I really want to add a 2-day Brand Identity workshop with photoshoot on the front end to help with content prep and streamline the process. Loving your content. I feel like it has been a God send. Thank you!!

I'm glad you're enjoying it. We have a ton of clients that have done brand identity programs so it sounds like you're in the right path. :)

Great suggestions. I want to build ROI services, but it needs a lot of money to start. Now I have an idea of where to start before going forward.
    Thanks bro

Beautifully explained! Can't argue with anything you say here. Systemizing everything and probably niching down to focus on that target client. The predictability aspect is what intrigued me the most. Definitely going to be giving this idea a try in my business.

    Hey Greg,
Do you think It's necessary to be a designer to start a web design business?
Could you please explain where do you see the difference between being a web design business owner and being a designer?
How much design knowledge do I need to have to start?
What skills do I have to sharpen?
    I'm super confused
    thank you

I like the "back-end" recurring client service view. I agree work on developing skills if you don't have them! How about finding a partner (outsourcing) to do that work until you have the skills?

Hey, great video I have a couple questions what website building services you use, for example, do you build Shopify stores or WordPress stores and then give them to your clients or do you use SMMA softwares like gohighlevel?

Oh dear. Just when I thought I found my niche (and passion) of websites for creative brands, where isolated-illustrated images overlap photo edges and page sections, for a warmly engaging experience. Instead of being just another "clean" designer (which I do also enjoy). HOW on earth could that be niched down more though, I wonder, so I can have templates at the ready. Need to keep thinking. *Thank you!*

@@jessedegroot4486 No, I'm going for small-business sites that are just fast to create now. Forget the artistry, I'm going with "plenty turnover, plenty profit" now. However, to *market* that through design is proving a problem, lol. The hardest website to do is my own. How about you
