I am 4 minutes into this video and boy oh boy 👏👏👏 totally resonating with me !! So far I have been a “general “ person and tbh it has been a pain, high burnout because as you said , it’s like i do actually have a dental client and they require many different form types and customer portals for confidential info as well as portals for each dentist in the practice, pain in the a## sometimes. Then the other extreme I have a landscaping client who just wants a pretty looking site with their beautiful landscaping jobs , simple contact forms and beautiful social media content, nice and easy and while the prices just for these two clients are very different, I much prefer the landscaping type. Think I will be niching down 👍👏👏👏😂
Hey Payton! I just visited your new website and saw that questions inside the FAQ section jump on every expansion. You can simply change the bottom margin to padding 😎 A very nice build though!
no joke i’m just about to finish my website for my “business.” it started as a pet project but i really want to make it a reality. this video couldn’t have come in a better time. so excited for this
Hey Payton Should you niche down on service as well as target market? For example to start with should it be 1 service for 1 target audience We design websites for pest control companies
Hell Payton , This is sucha genious idea, what are the prequisites to be able to get int the Solo AgnecyBlueprint? example we should be up to date with with platfors ex: weblow, Framer,or Relume, Figma, or maybe non at all? Also I got my first customer that would like me to add a few things to there website. ( Its a church Website) that is out of date and would like for me to add and change things for them. THay do I do after they give me an admin password and used name since I did not build the site and it is not a no code website? Could you advise please Mr. Payton, Your are a master teacher and everyday I dedicate 2 hours to your teaching. Looking forward to part 2,3,4 of the Solo Agenct Series. Hope to hear fromyou soon. Or if a paid call is in oder I can also do that. Thank you Jay
e-commerce is definitely a Nich, but you could niche down further like: luxury items, rare collectibles, NFT shops, fashion e-commerce, meal planning services, craft and hobbies, restaurants and catering industry...there are so much categories to pick from
Hey Payton! Love the content you are putting out here for free. I just wanted to ask when you first started how many hours did you put in per day to scale. What specific things did you focus on learning and doing which you would say was the most important in pushing you business. I am also trying to do the same with starting a web design agency and reverse engineering the things successful people have done will result in the same outcome. So I am asking in hopes of that. Would really appreciate if you could give an in-depth answer. This could also just be another video idea😉😉
Hey Payton, great video man. Brought a lot of clarity and significance of each step. I'd like to ask you one question. If you are building a site for the customer (be it Webflow or Framer), then do you consider the cost of the subscription within the $3000 that you mentioned? Because considering a scenario where the client already has a domain and if you want to add that custom domain to your Framer/Webflow website, it requires to purchase the respective subscriptions.

He’s not in Europe so he wouldn’t know. I’m in the UK - living in a town of 200,000 people. There’s probably about 5-10 serious web design companies i’ve seen in my area. Some of whom have been in business for 10-20 years. But like the examples he gave, they all have generic things on their website. So the niching down thing is making sense to me.

Hey Payton

Yes! Get as specific as you can without creating too small of a pool of potential clients
Part 2 would be awesome
On the way!
how do you get google reviews when you don't have a physical address?
Try changing from charging based on the time to based on the problem value you're solving for the client and thank me later. Good piece from Payton

Thank you for the video Payton. I am also in your course. Which system do you use for the website (Wordpress, Onepage)?
Websites build with Webflow. The course/community is built with circle.so. Happy to have you in the program!
Do you show a range of prices on ypur website and ads or do you hide it until sales call? I guess both ways have its benefits
Quality video. Great job.

Nice site! Do you plan to grow with SEO or paid and TH-cam? Curious because of the minimal content on the landing page.

You hiring developers ? I would love to onow where to sendbmy resume if you are contracting out.
most of the pest control company are owned by large corporations, so how will that work?
Actually I have found the majority are run by a single local owner. Sure, the main big ones are corporate owned but there are tons of small ones
I have a background in Law, would law firms be a good niche to target?
Absolutely! I would still recommend getting more niched though. Ex. Divorce attorneys, small law firms, etc.
