To everyone who wants me to keep it... I feel you lol... I really do. But this is my start. I love doing this stuff, even if its not your cup of tea. I spent so many nights awake, just picturing how I wanted this bike to look, and BAM! Its like being able to take an image out of my head and put it into metal. I have to teach myself not to fall in love with every bike I touch, and this is going to be a hard lesson. This bike goes hard as fuck, and I'm proud my first build came out swinging this hard... But that's the key word. My first build. I plan on doing many more of these. To keep, to sell, to make for people, to make for companies, etc... I want to do this. I'm not going to pretend I'm some fuckin' Jesse James bike builder extraordinaire, but god damn do I get so much pleasure in building and chopping, and riding shit like this. It brings me so much joy, especially to see your reactions being as positive as they have been. If you like these bikes, or this style, you're in luck because I plan on making a few, each different in every way. Thanks y'all, much love.

My brother said to me today...YOU HAVE TO GET DO IT WITH DANS BIKE!!!! So of course I asked him why? Why a bobber? He looks at me as we are surrounded by motorcycles and cars at the log cabin cruise night and says “Bro, it’s the bike I would ride along side you if I wasn’t in this wheelchair.” Honestly Dan, after just getting baptized on Sunday and him playing a huge role in that moment for me. I was nearly in tears when he brought this up. You’re inspiring a 20 year old young man who has been confined to a wheelchair since he was in elementary school to dream big. Keep up the awesome work and your build on this bike is amazing!

Not gonna lie if I bought another bike I’d wanna know it can actually be gotten on and ripped through the gears to know everything is gonna function properly.. as long as everything is lubricated and warmed up it’s fine.. 😂 plus this is a honda my dude it’s gonna run fooooorever with like basically no maintenance and being riden alot lol

@@stealth.gr4 just buy the harbor freight stud welder dent puller and pull the dent out of it, it shouldn't be too hard. Just dont have any gas or vapors in the tank when you do lol

You have 3 wire up front because the front bulbs are 2 element. So when you turn the key on one of the elements lights up and when you use a turn signal the other one will turn on and off. Not a split ground. Keep up the good work dan.

I bobbed a 96 vlx after getting rear ended on it, and it turned out to be a fun project. I eventually got rid of the bike but the one you made is really nice

I'll be honest upfront that i haven't been watching your videos as frequently lately so i haven't seen anything going on with this build prior to now. Gosh it looks good, brings back feelings of wanting to try my hand at bike building from 5-6 years ago that i never acted on. Shits been real rough over the past year and gettin the feels from looking at your finished project just makes me want to go back to when shit was more simple, when i was convinced id get a bike and try my hand at moto mechanic work/customization.

my first bike was a 98 shadow 600. topped out at like 87 full tuck. i always thought is was pretty quick until i got my vf1100s. looking back it was pretty slow. but the're cool bikes, and i love what you did with the build.

Pretty sure the third wire for the front turn signals is for running/marker lts. Most bikes have the running lights on in the front but not in the back

Eastwood has a powder coat you can do at home. All you need is an old oven to cook it. Look it up it is pretty cool.

Dan if you add a slight baffle or longer pipes it won't make the weird sound at idle my bike did the same thing. It has to do with scavenging in the exhaust
Dude. You got me thinking about doing a build like this. Except instead of tan I'd go with the army green and all black with the wide whites and I've been toying with the idea of doing a full-on raw bobber build with a kick start panhead or something similar and then doing a suicide shifter kit. You got me thinking which is dangerous because I can't afford to get a bike and build it. Hahaha, but it'll happen one day. Warhorse is my style of bobber. I like the chopped up military surplus vehicle look when it's done right like you got. Really clean bike, man. I love it.

Very nice dan, maybe for your next build you could do a frisco style sportster chopper with a 6 over narrow front end with narrow bars. If you still have the old sportster bobber laying around you could slam that drivetrain in a paughco or kraft tech frame for less than a g note

Here's the rule....if you're going to have forward mount foot controls then you need to install ape hangers. Otherwise low handlebars on this bike will result in lower back pain after awhile....it's simple ergonomics.
I LOVE how it has an idle sound that's not annoying as fuck, and when you accelerate the awesome noise is there.
For the people who ask about the comfort.......... Did you HEAR Dan as he was talking? Sounded like he was sitting on a dryer while he was talking.
