Okay, so, yeah, here we go, how to make Ponies in Pathfinder 2e.

Listen, my toddler has me so deep in Paw Patrol Lore that I've already theory-crafted at least three characters from that show into Pathfinder 2e.

I always tell people how versatile is pathfinder to build famous tv or cinema characters..... But this is a whole new level.
I looked up canonical ponies, such as the Riding Pony and War Pony, in PF2 as well as horses, such as Riding Horse and War Horse, just to see what the size of an actual Pony and Horse are in the game rules. Pony's are sized Medium while Horses are sized Large. This is likely why most Centaur are Large, with the pony heritage being Medium. This means there is an argument to be able to play a medium pony Awakened Animal too. It just means those apples (and other fruit and veg) are really BIG for apples, which tracks for what the G5 earth pony's plants sometimes produce.
However, Howl of the Wild also has a section under Awakened Animal that says "Many animals have giant-sized versions of themselves in the game, and you can take advantage of that fact to make an animal of any size that you prefer", so your Small size choice for the ponies is viable too. And this section on different sized animals also means it's possible for different sized plant-life too, so large apples are possible.

I'm almost certain out there, someone is planning to run a Strength of Thousands campaign with a at least a couple of Pony PCs, and I hope they see your video. Nothing wrong with doing characters you like, and good shout on the Witchwarper, thinking ahead of starfinder classes we might get is a good idea.

For the unicorns, you can also reskin the kashrishi too if you are going for small size. I consider the ponies to be long medium sized creatures which is why they are around the same height as a halfling but they are medium due to being longer. But if you are going small, the kashrishi have innate telekinetic abilities and a horn, just like unicorns (albeit empathic sense is slightly off but seems justifiable). Plus, you can get a glowing horn or the coolest unarmed attack in the game that way with a heritage and Open Mind gives you an occult cantrip which can be Telekinetic Hand, and your horn glows when you use it.
You're not a necromancer, but summoned a dead fandom with this one
The nice thing is that all those other creatures-hippogriffs, griffons, hippocampi, bison, etc.-already exist in Pathfinder, and they're all animals. It's actually harder to play a pegasus or unicorn RAW than any non-pony species (except dragon, but that's what RFC is for 😂).
I actually figured out a build for the hippogriffs into sea ponies thing.
My Little Pony is not my thing, but I get it. I watch some stuff that isn’t any more “adult” or “manly”.
When I was a kid I would occasionally play with cousins or neighbours with MLP. I never cared enough to ask for them (plus not sure my mom and step-dad would even allow a boy to have them).
I also watched a three-part episode (wishing coins story arc) in my mid-teens. It was decent.

I misread that as Boo from Monsters Inc, and now I want to see Monsters Inc character builds. I'm sure Howl of the Wild has got options for some of those, at least Randall and Scully!
Pegasi do have one other form of magic in g4 that we've seen. The standing and working with clouds. Rainbow Dash kicked lightning bolts out of clouds too.
Also, they control the weather/seasons (kinda)
Yeah, true, but I COULD NOT figure out how to replicate that in Pathfinder, so I just kinda left it out. It’s very situational too. I don’t think we ever see Dash grab a cloud and kick it as, like, an attack or something. If you wanted to represent it, you could just flavor it as an application of ‘weather lore’ or something.

PonyFinder doesn't actually seem to be very pony-esque, except vaguely in how it looks.
Well done 🎉, in g4 earth ponies are also mentioned to have "earth magic" such as how the Pie family grows rocks or Rockhoof dug his lava trench. Pegesi also have weather manipulation. Not sure how you'd fit either of those in though
I mean, a lot of that stuff doesn’t have much mechanical effect. You could just give the pies ‘Rock Farming Lore’ and that’d probably cover it. And yeah, I don’t know how I’d do Pegasus weather control. Maybe they have ‘weather ritual lore’ and are just good at doing weather control rituals, flavored as doing it physically?

Minor Correction: It's been known since January 31, 2024 that Make Your Mark ended with Chapter 6, though the 2-D series Tell Your Tale (on TH-cam) is ongoing at this time.
I mean, the two are the same show, with just different animation styles. Same characters, same VAs, same continuity.
@@PsiPrimeProductions1 They are still, technically, separate shows with different formats that have run concurrently with each other (somewhat like Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls). I did say that it was a 'minor' correction.

Lol, warning, after watching MLP, you might feel kinship with others and actually understand, if not agree with, their point of view.
What about the Bat-pony Race? Those with bat wings, how could they adapt to the system? (I clarify that I still don't have that Pathfinder manual at hand)
Easy. Howl of the wild also has a lycanthrope (including were-bat) archetype. Just grab that. Choose your pony's natrural attack to be a piercing jaws attack. Boom, done.

Lol. Actually, the video was autoclaimed by Hasbro for using a long clip associated with a copywritten song (though I cut out the audio.) I disputed it, and they released the claim like, within six hours or something, so . . . I mean, fair play on them. I give credit where credit is due.
