With the Remaster adding the Rogue dedication at level1 to an Ancient Elf is hard to pass up. It now adds an additional skill feat and surprise that helps with initiative on perception challenged builds. Unfortunately the Skill Mastery feat is just to great to pass up at level 8+ as adding a second dedication would be interesting if you have any ideas that stack with a Wizard. Thoughts?

I had to choose a bovine ancestry to play as, i think i would pick the Sarangay over the Minotaur. Just cause of the lore.

I really like this book, as a huge fan of L5R, this setting checks off a lot of boxes for me. I especially like the shadow ancestry.

Sadly still suffering some of the primary problems addressed by 5e - which is that it can take 5-6+ levels for builds to "get online". =( The part of me that loves theorycrafting builds definitely prefers pathfinder for the ability to make these kinds of builds. But having builds take longer to get online, combined with groups frequently falling apart is a real downer. =(

Concering the Makari Lizardfolk's ability to make all Lizardfolk magic Divine: there's a Gnome heritage that does a similar thing, letting you change all primal Gnome magic to your choice of the other traditions. ("Wellspring" gnome.) It was useful back when proficiency in spellcasting differed across traditions, but with that standardised, I haven't been able to find anything in particular that it really affects :/

I think the Kobold heritage is really solid as-is for Strength martials and Fighters in particular, which is great to use with the Kobold's Tricky Pick (a great weapon). There are two other heritages I know of that give HP and one other benefit. Unbreakable Goblin grants +4 and reduces fall damage (eh). Hold-Scarred Orc grants +2 and the Diehard feat (nice). Gaining +4 HP and what is, effectively, a bonus attribute boost for builds that don't care about Intelligence is really solid.

Why would Mightyfall need to call out the free boost if it didn't change it?

Perhaps it's the 5e player in me talking, but I think the Mightyfall heritage should have changed your size from small to medium. It'd be nice to have a way to make a D&D dragonborn style character in Pathfinder.

Personally, I think that Koi Secrets feat has some fun potential. As I said in a different youtuber's video, I could easily imagine a Kobold Investigator with this feat going down to the local harbor (where a murder victim's body was found floating) and asking the local fish, "So, can you describe whom it was that polluted your fair waters with that repulsive corpse?"

Well, at least that means that the money is not going into models and instead into the fun stuff. Good.

It's a martial weapon, but it is Uncommon. It is the only weapon with the Climb trait- the Boarding Axe of the Azarketi. 1H, Agile, versatile S/P, Climb (counts as a free hand for climb, which means you just need that Climber feat for FUN THINGS). Why bother with that "drawing and dropping" weapons nonsense when you can dig your weapon into the wall?! And if you ask me, it should give a bonus when you use the Catch an Edge/Ledge reaction while falling.

I’ve already got a “Warrior of Legend” Fighter idea cooking with this “vulnerability” mechanic… They are deathly afraid of lightning storms; because they were told by a very convincing fortune teller that they would perish by lightning. Every time they hear thunder, they get nervous, and will recommend that the party seek shelter somewhere. I like characters with phobias.

I have a question: When they mentioned buffing the Envoy subclasses, did they say if that would be added to the playtest material or for the official release next year? Also, really glad they intend to cover the interchanging in the SF GM book, considering some of the debates I've seen in the forums...

Interesting that there's a Einherjar/Valkyrie kind of Nephilim. You fight some in Prey for Death, but I assumed it was a Gorum-specific adventure thing and not something they would add for players.

Paizo getting a small/unknown studio to run a kickstarter for this...? I hope I'm wrong but that's a bunch of red flags to kick the whole thing off. So much that can go wrong. Which, if it does go wrong, tends to harm the chances we'll be seeing more games wanting to pick up Pathfinder as an IP. =/

Warrior of Legend being limited to spears still feels weird to me. If the theme is being doomed why restrict it to one fighting style? Yes, Achilles reference , but that doesn't seem like a good reason to me.
