I am very happy to comment that I, yes me, own a 48 Martin myself! My g-pa bought it!! He passed to my father- they were both amazing musicians- dad passed it to me- better than you passed that football at the beginning, luckily! Heheh
Ok you may not be able to hit the back of Norm's broadside but, you can play and sing One brings joy and the other could bring pain We live in a time where we need to think someone besides ourselves And hopefully where we finally realize we are all apart of the same family, the human race So Lemmo and Jen keep bringing the joy and the laughter too Count a blessing, find a smile and a laugh each day and hope will not be to far away
I would never let a heel repair stop me. Nor a a peg head repair....cost on the other hand, has failed many of my dreams. Funny how these three Velvet Underground chords went on to be the foundation of so many songs. That is a sweet 28 even though I tend to like the 18’s a bit more. But I’m no bluegrass picker. Sweet Michael.
That was great Lemmo! Your singing is really picking up👍When you relax your throat just a little more and increase power (from the gut) good things will follow. What a killer guitar👏👍
The song "If Not For You" was not just written by Bob Dylan. It was a Bob Dylan / George Harrison song. They wrote it together around the time of The Concert for Bangladesh. On Bob Dylan's LP New Morning the song is credited to George Harrison. On George Harrison's LP All Things Must Pass the song is credited to Bob Dylan.
@@paulcopsey6573 Kinda funny, I knew the Olivia Newton-John version, (I still have the 45), but I'd never heard the George Harrison version until a couple of years ago.
I’m a big fan of this channel and usually not a hater but I’m not here to listen to some shitty cover of a song co-written by Harrison/Dylan (not covered by Harrison). Either play and let us hear the GUITAR or bring Mark back💯👌
I listen to hours and hours of people playing and singing on TH-cam and look forward to hearing Lemmo banging out a tune more than any of them.
If you haven't, check his spotify
Omg when did he release a album
Agreed .. but please listen to Chris Buck. The only one on par with Michael
im glad he's singing along with these songs now more often.
A Rogo/Lemmo duet on a Dylan song would be fun.
Gotta love them Martins
I would like to see a full set of Lemmo doing Dylan. That was Amazing! Thank you
That's one of the best D 28s I've heard.
This guitar rings like a bell, Michael Lemmo if not for you these pandemic days would be much sadder.
Beautiful Sounding Guitar and well done on the vocals....
Petrilli's absence stands out ... ❤️ Very good artist Lemmo!!!! WOW...
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Cool guitar. Great performance. Singing performance makes the guitar stand out.

Beautiful guitar! Nice job on the vocals Michael! Wow. I really look forward to your videos!
The guitar sounds amazing 😊👍🏼.. love my d28 I will never sell it.
Always good to hear Lemmo sing and play.Dylan, with a touch of S&G thrown in as well. Nice work, peeps!
That guitar looks amazing for being 72 years old.
Oh, hey, nice Lemmo vocal too.
Great song.
Great cover of this Dylan song. And a lovely guitar as well!
Officially my favorite GOTD episode, hands down.

Great guitar, great song, great playing! Grateful listener 😁
Such a gem. Would die to have one.
would that not be rather counterproductive :)
Love when Lemmo sings 👌
Loved that second number! Great guitar!
That was great Lemmo! Your singing is really picking up👍When you relax your throat just a little more and increase power (from the gut) good things will follow. What a killer guitar👏👍
my favorite guitar
Lemmo, this is class. Keep singing. Keep playing.
Looking like a young Bob Dylan Michael. Great guitar and amazing enjoyable performance just super. Thnx.
Did not expect to hear some amazing vocals just an amazing Martin... nice surprise!
ver·sa·tile - able to adapt or be adapted to many different functions or activities.
Thank you
those old martins sure sound sweet , course Lemmo could make a cigar box sound sweet , great GOTD , great guitar , thanks guys.
that was a beautiful cover..

Bizarrely also covered by Olivia Newton-John

Didn't the Traveling Willburys record it too?
I was wondering about that. Thank you!
@@jeffrey3498 I don't think so. Cannot find a listing at discogs.com. Would have been cool if they did.
Two thumbs up Michael
Wonderful. Thank you
Great job!
One of you best!
Classic Dylan + Vintage Brazilian D-28.....and Lemo - Yikes!!!! Smiles Mike!!!!
Beautiful
Another gorgeous Martin.
I’m reaching for my nitro pills again after getting flashed by Brazilian Rosewood !👍👍
“YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL, crickets”
Wouaw for a 1948 years old guitar she look in very very good condition
It’s nice to hear you sing....
If this kid was around in the 60’s when I was his age, they would be calling folk music Lemmo music
Great sounding guitar
The most likable guitar player on the internet.
Mikey! Great cover.
That’s a dream Guitar. I’m afraid to ask the price!
for you???
Olivia Newton-John covered this song also. Have all three artists recordings. Very different versions.
Great D-28 by the way.
Jen is such a joy...
Beautiful Guitar 👍
Your singing is getting better. Keep working on it. Great guitar
Way to play it out like. Gotta respect that
Jen and Lemmo are stoned to the bone. Carry on.
Every female subscriber of this channel just fell for you 😄
Fan mail incoming Mike 🤣
I could be his mom and I will still be a Lemmo fan
What tuning is he in?
Great playing as always
Wow! A late 1940's Martin. What a unique, rare guitar. They only show 1940's era Martins once a month.
LEMMO!!!!!!
Nice!! I would design a cure for covid and trade it to norm for that guitar.
Yeah, nice ❤
My favourite acoustic on my favourite day! Such a great guitar! However! Gotta do a Maton!
That intro had me rolling!!
Nice job there Mr. Lemmo.
Sounds great .....how much is a 48 D28. Wow.
The one thing that would make this perfect is if Todd was playing along as well.
I get the crickets....it has the same affect on me. Norm...you don’t know my wife.
Whats the last song the he played?
How much is this guitar?
Its as ole as I am but sounds a lot better than me!
What happened to Joel ?
I was thinking that too??
Yeah he hasn’t been around
I've been wondering the last couple of months too.
He moved back East a couple months ago.
What strings and gauge do you use on this particular guitar?
I would use Martin. Silk n Steel
Sung by Olivia Newton John.
A great version it was too
What is the name of the second song?
Girl from the North Country, Paul
Why do they never play bluegrass on these guitars, it bothers me a little tbh
Amen Kevin. Should've had Herb Pedersen play it yesterday. lol
I don’t wAnna play my Orangewood anymore
Much better. Do more of this. I quit watching for about a year I guess
Dude! Can't anyone else play guitar at that store? Emerald. City has numerous players. #GIVESOMEONEELSEACHANCE
Can you imagine if norm got annoyed and threw the football at him not knowing he had the guitar out, and put a hole in it?!
No, I can't
14 people didn't like this.....not musicians i'm sure...
No van halen?
Work On That Football Practice, Mike.
No! His hands are too valuable 😃
Dying to hear Lemmo and Lindgren. Just sayin'.
its old so it's cheap?
hhahahaha, the complete opposite sir
Olivier newton john
Beautiful instrument, but I am not hearing the fullness of tone that is associated with it.
Do we ever see the camera girl, and can she play a guitar?
If yer talking about bob dylan you don’t have to say the lyrics are great. Just saying

Can Norm be quiet for a few minutes?
Lemmo should learn goat polyphia
Beautiful sounding guitar and fine playing as usual, Michael. But, to be honest, just a mediocre vocal. I’d rather just hear you play.
Quit making a joke of Michael , he’s not that funny !
