I have a 2007 Tiger 1050 and I totally agree with this positive review. It's a VERY reliable bike with a wonderful engine. I get 220 miles on a tank of fuel. I'm not sure why he's only getting 150 miles of range. The only real problem I had with my Tiger was that I was on my way to work one day, I went to upshift and the external shift linkage broke. I pulled over, used my hand to stick the bike into 3rd and rode home. I easily rode home, with multiple stops along the way, with the bike in 3rd gear. Plenty of low end grunt to start off in 3rd gear from a stop.
I’m trying to learn how to keep a big bike from going down. When you dropped the bike, was there anything you felt you could have done differently? I’m 5’5” and practicing getting better at one foot down and not tipping over. Good video. Thanks.

Thanks for the review! I'm looking to buy a black one but I'm not sure about the color, is it really hard to maintain ? People say don't buy a black bike, always looks dirty.
Hi Guillaume, I have a black one, I use a spray on rinse off after each ride (Muc-off) and it's fine. The screen picks up a few bugs though, but it would in any colour :)
I found a 2008 tiger 1050 for sale for 3600 at a dealership. Not sure of miles but wasnt sure if that would be a good beginning motorcycle. Don't think i should be starting on anything near 1000 CC
There’s a 2010 1050 abs with 19,000 miles for 3950, comes with a lot of extras, should I get it…I just sold my 2014 fz09 and sorely miss it…I’m thinking the triple in this bike would be a nice replacement I just don’t want a bike that’s too old, you know? But ABS sounds amazing, and I feel like this would be perfect for the twisties
so funny i also had a 2014 FZ09 that i miss big time. this bike comes close with its engine configuration. its really good for twisties and long comfort riding. when i had the 1050 it didnt look too dated to be honest. its still a good looking bike.
@@abuelofm5 As an owner of a 2011 Tiger 1050 myself I can verify that the heat really gets to dissipate openly as opposed to the Sprint ST/GT where it builds up under the farings - the partially fared nature of the Tiger means the heat gets out easier. Only a little heat during summer with hot air blowing on the right side of your legs stopped at lights but not unbearably so.

Great Bikes. Same as mine. Does everything well. Every miles a smile.
they are so good at smiles per hour. cheers!
@jerryx2000 sold a few years back. Great bike over all. It’s weak points were the electrical charging system. That had to be replaced
Good Job, great info, from what I've gathered so far your mileage isn't too far off, start with your Wrist :)
Here in the UK it's 126bhp and a top speed of 135mph.

I did have to wash it often

Do I still see the monster there? Why did I think you sold it?
It’s definitely sold. I’m like 10 videos behind hahaha
I had a 1050cc Sprint St and ended up selling it because the heat that came out to my legs (unbearable). Does these has anything similar?

@@JimmerofOz Great, thank you!
Sir, You don't need music to inform people. It's the subject that sells your video. Try again.
Ok. Thanks
So proclaims the apparent king of YT videos...
Good video all around. Perfect length, camera angles, and sound for me.
Music is too loud for me, struggle to hear the dialogue over it! Other than that nice video
