@Jimmy Broadbent , just a tip i wanna give you guys, at 2:25 during the taxi laps the guy seems to be moving alot in the seat. I have been a mechanic for years on several GT3 cars, and just wanna tell you guys that he shouldn't be moving that much. He needs to be very tight in his seat, we had 1 guy that was not tight in his seat one time, that was in a crash, and because when the car came to a full stop, he moved forward in the seat just a tiny bit and bottomed out in it (not sure how to say it in English since it's not my main language), and he had a terrible injury in his lower back because he wasn't fully tight in his seat. So please, make sure whenever you take passengers, and also when you drive yourself, that you are fully tight in the seat, both the bottom & the top of the seatbelts should be super tight! I wouldn't ever wanna see a video pop up where someone got a terrible back/spine injury because they weren't fully tight in their seats.. Also, if you see this comment guys, please upvote it so Jimmy and his crew see this, because i feel like it's very important. If it's ever our turn to be a passenger in a taxi lap, we want to be safe and if a crash happens, we want to walk out without any injuries :)
A bit late seeing this but I 100% agree - I'm not from a motorsport background at all, but in aviation, and many of our aerobatic aircraft have essentially the same type of harness you have in a race car. I believe the term is 'submarining' when your lower body slides forward a bit on impact and you can end up with injuries almost as bad as if you weren't strapped in at all, not just spinal injuries but organ damage too.
You know what... From the Dark ages you climbed to the point where the Commentators are following you on the N´Ring. It deeply impresses me every time. I am at a loss for words. Damn Onion cutting Ninjas.
I don't think his experience was completely out of pocket even though it was just a video game. They showed his onboard on the main broadcast and everyone was amazed that he managed to avoid it. I never noticed the crash in the side-mirror though, great editing!
great job, you deserve that drink! Steve too, he kept his head straight and showed the world they were quite wrong to doubt him. Manny is made of something else, im not sure what but he has some serious talent in a car. races like that light a fire and i hope yours stays burning all season!
Wow, that was one hell of a weekend! Drive to the Nurburgring in a Ford GT40. Go racing. Win your class by a country mile. Steve did such an amazing job to avoid getting caught up in all the carnage. The Nordschleife is narrow at the best of times, but when one of the cars in front of you is sideways across the track, it's an *extremely* tight squeeze!
Watched it live and thought that was one of the best stints you've driven Jimmer. Might have been a bit boring but like Steve said that's a good thing, just a perfect car management session. That carnage at the start though was mental. Great call from Steve to come in when he did
That cup2 car on lap 1 into the flugplatz crash was so aware. Saw or sensed Steve struggling to get the car slowed down and gave him the space on the left.
8:26??? Holy shit this is crazy, I don't think I ever seen a gt4 go this fast around Nürburgring. But the crayiest thing is that 8:26 would be a pole in top split in iRacing and in Sim people are always a bit faster. But he did it irl with traffic, this is insane!!!
I'm so happy I had the chance to meet you in person after all the years of watching your streams, and to shake your hand before the race. It was a great W you guys delivered!
18:08 can’t help but notice that Manny sounds a little like Kermit the Frog just with a German Accent 😂 either way the man is one hell of a driver and he definitely works hard behind the wheel! Great asset for Jimmer and the others 🫶
I am so happy for you. You have a golden soul and a virtuous character. A humble and positive bloke. You deserve all those great things - the career, the family, the mates, the dream whip, the happiness you have. You inspire us. I could keep going. Love you brother. Go for gold.
Nurburgring always has it's suprises because of the size of the track and how it has such big elevation changes ( more than 300 metres (1,000 feet) great video!
You love to see this! So sick to have been watching from the shed days and now you're out here crushing it at the Ring for real, keep up the awesome momentum, Jimmer!
Well to be fair he took a train through the tunnel. ...And then ripped it on the Autobahn. Didn't show us, didn't elaborate. Jimmer. TBF: You get to like 150+ really quick with 500hp and such a low amount of weight. I doubt he even realized how fast he was going before the steering went light and he slowed it back down. But, he was also told to wring it by the neck. Fair is fair.
You made such amazing progress, Jimmy! Absolutely great!! Awesome! Don't you ever stop to do the things you love! All the best for you and your family!
Man, I'm so happy for All of you! I've been following you and Steve for a few years...and I'm a new fan of Manny! Great team! Speaking of which... nice pick on your new team mate, Jimmer! She's definitely a keeper! You won't know yourself when you become a Dad! You will both be great parents! 64m here, my kids are 31, 29 and 24... they grow up Fast! Enjoy!! Peace love respect
amazing team and really fun content. incredible pace for Jimmy, but honestly I was kind of expecting that , because being that good in sim racing where the number of drivers is extremely high, means you need to have some out of the ordinary skills and don’t forget the thousands of hours behind the wheel
The things I would do to race let alone just got for a taxi with this man we don’t speak on😭😂 best of luck in your future as always much love man been watching you for a long time now it always bring a smile to my face seeing you have the ability to be in a car these days along with hope maybe one day I can give you a run for ya money myself ❤️
Fantastic. A bit of Ring Taxi, making Instagrammers sick, the Nordschleife doing what the Nordschleife does, and monstering the M Bison Dacia. Twice. Not a bad way to start the evening's YouTubing session, in between watching the A-Team pilot episode as well.
Drove all the way there from Belgium to see you guys. So sad that the traffic only allowed us to arrive during the red flag so we didn’t get to see all the gt3s. But still very happy to have rooted for you along the track

How has this got no likes?
Liked and commented, the potential for injuries in this sport is no joke and being overly confident/carefree is the way to get hurt.

I thought the same when I saw the first guy. Jimmy or someone should make sure that the passenger is properly buckled up
Was looking at the same. Damn didn't know it could cause such permanent damage.

I was thinking the same thing. You should definitely teach taxi passangers how to safely tighten the seatbelts during the lap.

I think people underestimate how much a passenger can change the behavior and feel of a car in any racing or drifting
so many only think about peak power levels in cars
You can already feel it in a road car.
