I think blue makes it fine if they don't collide but I really don't know what red was thinking, they'd be either sailing into the sand or losing a lot of time to make the kink. should have really stayed back
The radar in ACC means that the first crash is more the fault of the Ferrari turning across the front of the BMW. The BMW could have avoided it by backing out, since there was no possibility of an overtake from going side by side on the outside from that far back. But the Ferrari would have known he was there.
@@Jimmy_Broadbent I think the thing to consider though is that the Beemer had a strong run coming off the previous corner though, so surely he's welcome to continue that run into the next corner. Had a guy on Forza Motorsport tell me that 'there is no inside line to that corner' 😮 where did I overtake you from then bud? The corner in question was the left hander after the corkscrew at Laguna short. I'm still a little baffled by that.
Jimmy! You’ve inspired me to get my first sim setup! So far GT7, Project Cars 2, and ACC single player have been my go to. Where would you suggest starting in multiplayer? I have a PC and a PS4.
I find many people can’t handle a straight fight out of a corner, especially if you are carrying more speed. They intentionally sideswipe so often that I’m anticipating it.
9:49 I actually disagree! In this one very specific instance. It's a blind crest, and at the end, the guy has the car steady and going backwards in a straight line. Holding the breaks would mean he is just stationary behind the crest, and another accident all but guaranteed.
14:00 100% on the red one imo, he's facing away from the corner... he's turning right into a left hand turn. blue car should be able to assume that there isn't a car poking its nose up from that far back & driving towards the wrong side of the track into a fast lefthander.
I have had this exact thing happen in MX-5s on AC and one thing is that this corner is narrow where you have to enter wide for any corner speed. I’d still place this 100% on the red car, but I can see why he might have thought the blue car would stay wider for longer.
Red Ferrari i know was about to release gas enough to get behind the blue one, to be right on the bumper up the hill. Done that move a lot. Be slightly alongside just to psych them out and maybe have them over drive for an easy uphill overtake.
11:25 I think it’s on the Viper. Causing an incident because you don’t know someone is there is on you. There’s a radar. There are mirrors. It’s not on the other driver to know that you don’t know they are there! It’s on them to be aware of their surroundings.
I absolutely love how people just think they can occupy a space another car is in just because it’s the “racing line” 😂😂

0:14 silly moment
Agree, but IMO the Ferrari is at fault here. BMW was obviously alongside and the Ferrari came straight across. Surprised Jimmer called the BMW at fault.
Same @@ck867
@@ck867 He got this one backwards. The problem solved itself.
Man, every sim driver needs to watch these videos. I play gran turismo and im not the best at all, DR is a B in lobbys with A and A+ drivers and even then, non stop dive bombing, literally just pushing people off the track, terrible at rejoining the track, and so many more, late defending and moving under braking, and then everyone argues and blames everyone else for their own mistakes. Its so frustrating. People race like its need for speed or something.
6:00 I agree he was at fault and should be punished, but that seems like a cruel and unusual punishment.
Shoutout to TonyBronson at 12:46 donning the Carabineros livery, never thought to find one available in GT7 yet here we are
TonyBronson77 is a joke and needs to be banned he's done the same to me at least 20 times
What great timing, i was rewatching the old videos lol
shout out to the editor, this one was on point
10:30 this one is super easy. Whenever Red Bull livery is involved, its driver is at fault. PERIOD. 😂😂
Whenever I see a redbull livery, I am very worried about the carnage he will inevitably unleash
Good rule of thumb that
11:45 was such an unexpected audio edit I've just choked on my fkin chocolate. Now my monitor has got speckles of chocolate all over it and is basically the choco version of a plasterers radio. Thanks, jimmer!!
Gotta love the "PRO" sticker on the car on the first clip.
Had a guy on Forza Motorsport tell me that 'there is no inside line to that corner' 😮 where did I overtake you from then bud? The corner in question was the left hander after the corkscrew at Laguna short. I'm still a little baffled by that.
Forza drivers: "what do you MEAN there's more than one viable racing line???"
I’m laughing way more than I should for the audio at 11:45
Yes, my favorite series is back!!!
loving the cardigan jimmer
The depressing part of this is if you're stuck on controller, you're kinda automatically sentenced to forza motorsport
was giving him the dogs really punishment thugh, those are the cutesiest dogs ive seen
I laughed my ass off with this one. Great editing!
I disagree with the first one, theres room for both cars on that track. Ferrari has mirrors and didnt use them
First class editing as usual!
Congrats on becoming a father, Jimmer!
Jimmy! You’ve inspired me to get my first sim setup! So far GT7, Project Cars 2, and ACC single player have been my go to. Where would you suggest starting in multiplayer? I have a PC and a PS4.
these vids are great jimmer
You can overtake anywhere... Unless you're Macau.
@10:00 how's he supposed to hold his brakes he's been murdered 😂😂
I find many people can’t handle a straight fight out of a corner, especially if you are carrying more speed. They intentionally sideswipe so often that I’m anticipating it.
9:49 I actually disagree! In this one very specific instance. It's a blind crest, and at the end, the guy has the car steady and going backwards in a straight line. Holding the breaks would mean he is just stationary behind the crest, and another accident all but guaranteed.
4:43 mustangs be doing mustang things, even on assetto 😂😂
Even in sim, you can't escape the Mustang Driver.
Love the charles feature.
"Sentenced to fish and chippy pizza" 😂
Red Ferrari i know was about to release gas enough to get behind the blue one, to be right on the bumper up the hill. Done that move a lot. Be slightly alongside just to psych them out and maybe have them over drive for an easy uphill overtake.
11:25 I think it’s on the Viper. Causing an incident because you don’t know someone is there is on you. There’s a radar. There are mirrors. It’s not on the other driver to know that you don’t know they are there! It’s on them to be aware of their surroundings.
Jimmy says he’s not convinced the POV will make the corner. I think it definitely would have.
This video was class jimmer nice job editer as well
We should have a series where Jimmy judges all his IRL crashes
Sim Racing Stewards! I've been waiting for this video
I love the memes edited in there, lmao. Great video.
Class edit on this one
I love Sim Racing Stewards! And evidently, so does our Jimmer! :D
iRacing devs released an arcade-esque rally game called ExoCross
I want to see Jimmy play it
