He is totallyyyy cheating on her.
Does she even remember what she said back then? He needs to dig deeper into his childhood because he seems to self victimize, and villainizes whoever is nearby. He doesn't want to "make a thing about" what he is doing wrong, but he want to make her the bad person. She's in danger.
That car thing is so bad. Hope he stops treating her like a doormat.

This couple brought up so many emotions for me! Reminded me so much of my ex and the crap I would put up with for reasons I do not yet fully understand.
Came to the comments to see if anyone else had the same suspicion about him. If he’s not physically cheating then maybe emotionally so . Maybe he validates that it’s not cheating because he’s not physically sleeping with people but on some level he knows he’s not fully dedicated to his wife ?? Idk 🤷♀️. Maybe I’m wrong . I’ll have to watch the rest of the shows . He seems very unempathetic to her feelings at times . I’m not sure why . I feel like he wants out and she feels he’s not all the way there for her like a man in love would be … thus the reason for her insecurity about the relationship and her sadness . She might not be wrong about what she’s sensing .
I’m rooting for these two. I think they both truly love each other. It’s profound and real. But they both need to get over themselves. Her and him. They are both being selfish in how they react to one and other. But I think they can get through this.
When she brought up him purchasing the convertible, my thoughts about him were confirmed. He said the car would be a way for them to build, but bypassed her and bought it on his own and took the garage keys so she wouldn't drive it. This dude is so full of shit. He wants the green light to end his marriage. He got the car to plan his freedom.
I watched this episode. He is NOT a good guy and he's not ready to be married. It's a good thing they split so she can find a man who is available and mature enough to be married. This guy is a jerk.
I love this show! I hope we get more seasons!
Season 3 of Couples Therapy is even BETTER !!! It's the best of all three. It literally blows first two seasons out of the water !!!
He is a big jerk that cares about his self. I know i have been married for 21 years.
Her looking for an apartment called his bluff big time because his session before he was all in on divorce.
They did not know how to communicate and ask for what they needed.
