I cant get this to work with my PS5 and a headset with mic. I'm pretty tech savvy and I have read and watched many videos ... cant get this to work like advertised.
I am looking for something. i am honestly not sure what, hence my comment. I recently bought a fifine am8 microphone and i love it. however, i use wired headphones plugged directly into the back of it and i believe this mic is dropping the quality of my headphones. In your opinion, would this mixer help the audio processing and give me a better sound from my headphones? ive tried countless eq settings and nothing can get the quality to how it should be. I feel like this mixer could improve the quality but i just wanted your opinion on it as i am newer to the audio space. Thank you so much!
@@NormanTheDoorman25 no problem buddy it's what I'm here for - most mixers should boost the quality of your audio - even versus the audio quality your computer gives out. If you're worried about your headphones quality I think you should definitely see a night and day improvement if you get a mixer ✌️
Hi, I play on Xbox and would like to listen to the game audio coming from the console while speaking with friends on discord running on my PC. It looks like this audio mixer could do the job. The plan would be to plug the mixer to my PC via USB to be able to listen to discord and speak to my friends, plug a 3.5mm in the line-in of the mixer and in my controller, and finally my 3.5mm headset in the headset port of the mixer. Would this work? Thank you for the thorough review :)
@@iamthegamingnerd The mixer arrived today and I can speak on discord while listening to game audio coming from my controller but there's a BIG CAVEAT! This mixer, being as minimal as it is, mixes the different inputs into one, which means the audio received from the line-in is forwarded to the microphone device on Windows, which means people on discord can hear my game audio. It's also worth noting that the jack that comes with the mixer straight up does not work, another review said that the cable had to be a TRRS to TRRS, but I received a TRRS to TRS. I tried with a TRS to TRS and I could hear the game audio, but at the cost of sending it through the microphone, as said above. I'm not blaming you for not mentioning that aspect (which you might not have been aware of), I just thought it'd be worth mentioning just in case someone else is trying to do what I did and thought this mixer could do the job.
@@TehHayzen oh shit - no I didn't as I honestly play alone mostly. Feck I'm sorry! You going to swiftly return it? Maybe check out the Maono! Not sure if that does that either but I've used that too and was pretty good but obviously didn't mix chats on discord either.
Mate... it's a 3 minute video -- should've given you some insight as to how in-depth I was going to go. My review is that from my personal use -- it's a good device for beginners and beginners don't need to use anything else than plugging in devices and having a mix.
@@Dazza_Chan I have the same and this is what I wore whilst reviewing this product so safe to say they're fine. But I do find 990s quiet on most devices though.
@@Jcrompo that is a good question. How is your DAC Amp connected to your computer? I think typically if the sources are all USB driven then you can select a USB input and a different USB output
@@iamthegamingnerd I use the sound blaster G6 and it’s just plugged in through usb. I’m just looking for a device that I can control and monitor my mic so don’t want to spend goxlr money as I don’t need all the features
