A voice of conscience. I'd like to believe most Americans still have the courage to fight against authoritarianism within or outside of the US.

As an outsider from Denmark, I observe that the United States has such a confidence in its power that it tolerates a very weak political system. The US seems to rely on its military and economic dominance to compensate for its internal divisions and dysfunctions. However, this strategy may not be sustainable in the long run.

This is called "rune." There are about forty standard runes, they can be concatenated, and there you have it... a cocktail. It is "the ideology" that screws their minds, an ideology that I don't quite understand yet.

He's referring to the Hastert Rule which effectively means "the minority of the majority" in the House of Representatives. Because of the rule change at the start of the current congress that will allow for a vote on expulsion for the Speaker, this has become an increasingly useful thing to exploit by the worst elements of the majority party. It comes at the expense of any decent legislation that the minority party (Democrats) will support with a handful of Republicans.

I would ADD further American is NOT a Serious country in SOLVING its Problems, it has so many you would not know where to start the most important ones and if you did the politicians would NPT agree among themselves. So back to square One.

Ukraine lost the war in 2014. It was cruel to pretend to the Ukrainians that the US could give them everything they need to beat a nuclear superpower like Russia.
