2012 C350 Coupe. Things I like: 1. Exterior/interior styling 2. Just enough power to feel great around town and on the freeway. I don't race my vehicle but I will drive it fast from time to time and its fine. 3. Freeway gas mileage is very good. I usually set my cruise and get 30+ miles per gallon. 4. Maintenance is not bad. I drive less than 10,000 miles a year so I service it once a year. 5. The technology in the vehicle (nav, traffic, serius radio, bluetooth, video in motion, etc.). 6. Smooth ride and comfortable sport seats.
I have a 2013 C250 T model ( estate ) . Super comfortable on long Cross Europe drives , quick enough to get there but not so quick like a C63 to empty my wallet and loose license at every overtake .. I also find the looks are timeless and really feels solid in general . Not a boy racers car but I have been there and regretted my youthful purchases .. this is my daily that goes round town or international trips with ease .

I had my 2009 W204 C200 Sport CDI Saloon for a couple of months. It had 215K on the clock when I bought it. I can agree with all these things. The OM646 2.1 diesel engine is basically the same engine that is used in some Sprinter vans. The estate is practical but my daily driver is a Volvo XC90 so it is nice to have a saloon car as well. My W204 is a weekend car and the backup for when the XC90 is out of action for whatever reason.
How reliable is a Diesel model of W204? I want to buy a used one with 200K ON THE CLOCK and Am scared of the expensive parts if they are too expensive I don't know, please advise because am also thinking of this and E90
I've not had any major problems so far. You'd think that the AMG specific parts would cost more than the regular C-Class ones but the reverse is true. The dreaded "AMG tax" must only apply to the C63
The OM646 is Euro 4 compliant, the OM651 is Euro 5 compliant and some of OM651s have twin turbos. That's all that I know. There should be a label on the timing cover with the original Mercedes part number.
I Paid 16k € for my C300 non AMG Package (it has ALL other specials and low mileage tho) i like it very much, there is no better Car for Long trips for me but it feels a Bit boring..everyone who searches a fun car to Drive, should search for another
It's not a sports car it's a luxury saloon. The sports pack does not make it a sports car any more than the GT pack on a Pergoet makes the 3008 a grand tourer
Absolute truth. I had a 2008 C200k and loved the bugger, until the electronic steering lock (ESL) issue was compounded with the failure of the accelerator module. I was stranded with a car which entered limp mode when accelerated and with a locked steering column which made taking it out of a tight parking spot an absolute nightmare. I loved the car, but no more...

I do own a C250 with the AMG Sport Package and almost all checked options, but I'm gonna have to say an E90 BMW is way better in pretty much any aspect.
im thinking to buy w204 320cdi 2007 model, but looking around the internet the car feels like a expensive bi*ch, to drive the car u need to service it all the time every time. car looks very beautiful so... hard choice.

These cars are amazing... if you want comfort and luxury. If you want speed too blimey they can move. Mercs come in a package...all in one.
