Very informative I have a plant on my terrace. The very first time,I used the pulp without washing it many times,so got skin allergy Now I soak the leaf in water for a few hrs until the yellow col gel gets removed completely from the leaf, and then I take the pulp and use it for external application,no allergies now
Thanks Bhuvana for sharing your experience. It will also help if you rinse the gel in water and then use it either for internal or external use. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 🙏😊
I started with two medium sized plants...and within an year I have enough and more plants in my balcony. I know that the juice is good, but, haven't tried it out yet. I use it to clean the face as and when I feel like it. At times, I use it as a cleanser or conditioner for the hair. My neighbours used to tell me that they make a curry...which is really good for gastritis. I have used it for minor cuts and bruises too; works wonders. It's such an awesome plant.
Namaskaram Sachi. Would love to know the curry recipe that you mentioned. Sounds very new to me. It's best to use Aloe Vera in moderation,as mentioned in the video. You could try this juice recipe. Extremely refreshing. Thanks for keying in your enthusiastic response to the Munch and Mull videos Regards, Sujata from Munch and Mull 😊🙏
@@munchandmull Namaskaram, Sujata. The curry recipe wasn't told.. However, I was told that like any other vegetable curry, it's made to our taste. And, I have also watched videos on Aloe curry, but, it's in Sinhala. I asked a neighbour now who says it's no big deal; just wash the pieces of Aloe thoroughly and make it like any other vegetable. The difference, again, is some may use a bit of oil to saute the veg and others would just make it with the usual condiments. Plus...am told that some dont use coconut milk. But, it'll be great if used. Just like French beans white curry or any cucumber family vegetables. It's very famous in Srilanka among the village folks and anyone who suffers from gastritis. I know that many have had relief from Aloe curry. Some even swallow a piece of it in empty stomach. I prefer doing it than opting for curry, if I had to take Aloe.😁 Enjoy your weekend, Sujata. Cheers🙏

One more question We split it little bit nd hang for atleast 12 hours nd we have seen blackish juice come out then we cut it nd use. Is it ok or we should use directly? Please reply.
Latex found in aloe vera leaf must be removed before use. Just dip the cut end of the leaf in water for 30 minutes in horizontal position. The water will turn reddish brown . Then wash the leaf thoroughly and use as Sujata suggested.
Yes,you can have it on empty stomach. Avoid every day and have it a maximum of two or three days in a week,on alternate days. Regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 🙏
Will definately try this juice . But for how long you can drink this juice?? I use it for skin and hair . Its best for white discharge during menopausal time Even there are more than 100 varieties of aloe vera which one to use is a?? As always very informative akka❤🙏👌
Namaskaram Brinda. You could have it on alternate days, rather than everyday. After a month, give a break of a week and then restart the alternate day schedule. It's best to keep discontinuing and then restart than continuous prolonged use. Thanks and regards Sujata from Munch and Mull 🙏😊
