Authentic is always best.
Why not get a carbon fiber hood made from the original one and cut that instead of ruining an original piece?
We thought about this. Having Martin and his crew put one together, but we aren't sure it would work. Still an option.
@@JustDriven didn't the ring brothers or one of those fancy customizers built a whole charger out of carbon fiber ? I'm sure a carbon fiber hood would be feasible just done with caution and patience.
We will have to look the carbon Charger up now. We don't mind doing the extra work, time is tight when juggling as many builds as we have. But we will find out soon enough what the final decision is.
Do a carbon hood don't cut the og one...
We throught about this. but if we did it would push the time frame back on the build and we wanted to get these two done around the same time. We still may but only time will tell right now.
@@JustDriven I want to be honest with you guys.
You're actually building the best cars in the movies and i really like what you're doing.
I saw a white Ferrari in the shop is the 288 Gto or is a conversion?
Would be nice to see a race with Supra and that white Ferrari
The Ferrari is a future build we will announce a little later. It may not be a very fair fight if we raced those two cars. Ha!
@@JustDriven true 😂
Dom: 😎smoke him
In this scene though we have a feeling the Ferrari would win.
No hood, or cut up a used one.
Used ones are so hard to find!
On the charger cut the hood
Wait till you see what we did.
The South American guys are both Puerto Rican singers and the guy named don omar has a really fast drag car I think he’s the one most into cars out of the whole cast
They are so damn funny! Everyone here at the shop loves them. Their back and forth with each other is hilarious. Did they know each other prior to filming together?
@@JustDriven I think so because they are both big singers they have some really great hits so I at least know they knew of each other before
so cool.
What's the point of building them, if it's not gonna be done right?
Exactly.
@@JustDriven not adding in the aluminum panels, and having AC isn't close to doing it right, my dad and I could do this
Tribute cars don't have to be exact. Doesn't make it not right. Just makes it more comfortable to actually drive it! We love that you and your dad work on projects together!
@@JustDrivenbut you are going to put all that detail into the Supra, a 25K paint job, correct decals and everything else, but wanna treat the charger like crap?
Sorry if you feel we are treating it like crap. We will have Daryl go to the body shop and film an update for you. We want everyone to know how much these cars mean to us. We all hope you'll see no one is treating any of these cars like crap.
Cut the hood
Can we just say we cut it instead?
@@JustDriven no, lol
Damn.
Hood on
No hood!
You might be the first vote for no hood!
Hi guys 🤟😎
HI!
@@JustDriven no joke guys this is one of my favourite car builds ever its like just now I was in the middle of watching one of my other car TH-camrs channels and soon as yours pops up I jump straight into your video to see what updates you have with the cars lol 🤟 I just can't wait to see them painted 😃 it might be a slow build at min but you can see why you want it spot on hard work pays off and you can see that with the attention of detail you guys are doing.
Thank you again for your support. We appreciate it!
find replica/reproduction/remake
hood and cut it up
We've been looking but can't find one to stand up to the level of quality we are after.
too late to find a carbon hood - then paint?
would you like to get a free light bar ?
Just cut the hood. No hood would just look perpetually unfinished. It’s okay. We forgive you. Hack that thing up.
Yah we know it would look strange without the hood. We're going to have to cut it.
@@JustDriven the Car Gods understand.
Know I love the fnf rigs, but now I'm curious about that copper h2 in the back. Is it a customer's, or someones daily or just sitting lol have a h3 alpha , been looking for a solid h2 since I got that lol also glad Alex is keeping on your toes asking all the difficult questions from the keyboard warriors , was funny but informative, good work as always with the minute details and thanks
The H2 is a future build. Duramax diesel conversion maybe? Overland build? Only the future knows.
Chop the hood 😎😎
Chomp it?
@@JustDriven i was trying to word it so it sounded like pop the hood haha, but i would say cut the hood so it looks finished 👌🏼
Maybe you should concentrate on one build instead of starting the next F&F project before the previous ones are finished.
We have no short of 12 plus builds going on at any one time. So multiple builds is not a concern for us, in fact we love it! The length of time for the builds is more about waiting for parts usually than anything.
Cut hood 100%
Can we borrow some tin snips?
Definitely cut the hood
It's the only way.
If your making replicas I say cut the hood or else it wouldn't be the same
Consider it cut!
cant you find a bad looking hood in a junkyard
We're still keeping an eye out. They are still pretty expensive if we can find a decent one we would rather go this route.
Cut The Hood!!!
Another vote for the cut hood.
Pop the hood I mean cut the hood
Ha! Exactly!
Cut the hood!
Chop chop!
Cut hood
It's so pretty though!
@@JustDriven I think a cut hood would look better than the unfinished look of no hood. But that’s just my opinion
We agree with your opinion.
Sad, but cut the hood😂
So sad!
Hood on all day everyday
All day.
No hood! Don't ruin a rare good one, please.
If we could find a NOT good one we would rather do that.
Use a AMD hood! Please don’t cut a real hood
Oh we don't want to cut this one. But it might be the only way.
@@JustDriven good luck love the charger, fast 7 is my favorite charger
Hey guys I have some reference pictures to help out with the charger...I sent you guys an email with details
Thank you so much! We will check them out.
@@JustDriven send me a reply and I'll reply back with the photos
man you guys talk alot..... good update.
We all could talk for hours! And imagine all the talking that got cut?! Sheesh. The editor is for saving your earholes! And believe us when we say, imagine a video without the talking? You'd just get to look at our beautiful faces for 20 mins!
hood but find one that isnt perfect
Even imperfect hoods for these Chargers are expensive. We would prefer this option though because the one on it now is so nice.
