That welding though. Good thing you got a lot of weld length on every weld so it holds by sheer volume hahah Good design though, much respect. These constructions are more difficult than they seem, I did a fair bit of them.
@@Markko1986 this was my first welding project lol. I had never welded before attempting this and there is a lot I would change if I had to go back and do it over again
Okay so this is super effin sick, however as a scoot enthusiast and overall loser, I have a few things I wish I saw on this unit. 1. Some sort of aftermarket body parts to just give it some life outside of the original look, I'm a huge fan of the bosozoku/gentsuki style 80's scooters and they got all kinds of aftermarket parts. Perhaps you could be a new trend starter? 2. Some sort of Paint or theme, however the stickers will suffice, or maybe that should be the theme of the livery for this unit? I don't know and that is something personal to the rider themselves. So to each their own. 3. A fatter tire in the back, although I'm just some jerk off who watches people stretch their ruckas's, yet I would have zero clue as to how to go about doing so, and the fact that you just did all of this yourself is a feat of its own so don't take any of my notes seriously. This really is amazing and you should be hella proud
I actually had looked into installing a fat tire in the rear. However, because I originally designed the frame to have the small tire centered in the rear, I would have to pretty much refabricate the entire engine mount. I’m not sure how well it showed up on video but the body of the scooter has rainbow flake in paint which looks crazy in direct sunlight. I think it goes well with the sticker bomb. Tbh I didn’t ride it much last season and I’ve been so busy with other projects it’s been neglected in the corner of my garage
@@Leakyvws well that's a bummer. Chicks dig the scooters, I swear. But yeah, don't worry about the tire, I'm sure you could always do another one. This will hopefully give a lot of other folks some great ideas on how they can also modify their Chinese models.
Looks good. I wish Rolling Wrench would make a prefabricated kit for this.

I have one to mines been stretched and lowered
Send me message on fb I send you pics I'm changing my motor in it now
Look. If your welds are at least half way decent and as long you get a good bead good penetration you'll be fine. And a little bit of common sense.
