    Hi, I liked your video , very informative. I wonder why some people are going on about it being too long. I think its nice that you take your time to explain little things which a novice DIYer would not know by default. I find all your information very useful and like your calm and engaging way of explaining things.

    At last I have found some decent videos to share with my P&D students. A good help thanks especially as at the moment I can only do online teaching

    Excellent video! I skipped through the removing/sanding bit as I've fitted new boards to reasonable straight walls. You also saved me investing in a profiling tool, I have plenty of fingers to use instead 😅

      @ExtremeShez 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Paint then caulk, as you can paint over caulk should you wish.

    great video. would you say that the caulking finish should be more square unlike silicone eg around a bath which is concave?

    So, you recommend pulling caulk (backward), rather than pushing it (forward)?

    I am watching this video on silent so the husband doesn't hear so I can start painting our skirting boards because I love doing diy jobs on the house but he always takes over because I have no idea what I'm doing anyway this may be a dumb question and you may or may not have mentioned it here but is there specific skirting board paint or do you just use normal wall paint? I know there are different types of paints for ceilings, bathrooms etc so thought I should check first. TIA

      For skirting boards you tend to use gloss paint but I prefer satin xx

    Engaging but too long on the video, an element of over explaining comes across.
