i miss your old videos with start to opening the garage door and everything.
This is an old video was shot April 2013. 1:32
@@div216 then i miss the old edits. which there was no any.
Hi Ali, i do still have many current repair videos. i feel now it's time to edit and upload old repair videos. it may be boring but it will help many people repair their cars. please be patient. i will upload current videos soon. thank you for commenting
salamat sa tutorial kabayan, ang laki ng tipid ko lalo na ngayong pandemic mga tutorial na madali sundan, ingat kayo diyan regards from manila 🥰😘🤟🤟🤟
Salamat!
😎
I paid the dealership $1k for this, after watching this worth every penny.
10 years ago, i remember paying around $600 for this procedure.
Those bolts of the mounting arm are the bane of my existence 😂
For those who are not familiar with changing a timing belt it's a must to turn the engine by hand in order to check if there's any contact with valves before starting the engine. That's a recommendation for mechanics as well.
thank you for pointing that out. i forgot to add that in. i will just add that in the video description
These engines are non interference so that wouldn't be necessary.
hello, je suis d'accord avec vous
Nonsen6se.
I really like videos like this, no filler and to the point. Got everything I need for the TB change, Aisin TCT02 kit which includes the water pump assembly, oil pump seal and gasket, drive belts, all the tools etc. As I am increasingly working on our cars and my sons cars I also purchased an impact wrench, just a budget one but one that is highly rated and actually exceeds it's advertised torque unlike some of the well known brands that fall well short-more expensive isn't always better! Really looking forward to tackling this and preparation is always key, don't want to be rushing out to Autozone or wherever to source things I forgot I needed. Also don't want to complete the job then find I forgot to replace something or did something wrong. The car I'm working on is my 97 Celica GT convertible, 234,000 miles, runs great. Should get another 100,000 miles out of this car and I only paid $1200! Also replacing the right CV axle. Thankfully have other cars in our household so no rush to complete.
FIX ANGEL 😇 NO NEED TO TALK, HE IS THE BEST EXPLAINING STEP BY STEP TO DO IT RIGHT.👌
SALUDOS DESDE SCOTTSDALE ANGEL...BENDICIONES.
This is the earliest I’ve ever been for one of your videos.
STEP BY STEP-HANDS ON DIY VIDEO-In My Opinion ...'Fix It Angel'..Your video of"timing belt & water pump replacement '96-'01 Toyota Camry 2.2L 5S-FE '..Is By Far The Best On You Tube, As Well As Anywhere On The World Wide Web!!!...VERY VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEO!!!
Well done for showing all the nuances.
Heck yeah, the large FRY bar!
HAHA Only Pilipinos will get that one!
Oh yeah another fix it angel classic, Thanks for the video brother, stay safe and God bless ✌
Tried that trick of yours and
Yup worked like a charm💯💯💯💯
Fry bar made me giggle... i used to work with a philipino, he would say philippines pronounce the P as a F and vise verse. So we will joke about it with a pry bar aka fry bar. Brought memories of my rookie years.
yes!! that is why i did that. LOL thanks for sharing. God Bless
I like you channel because you don't talk.
Been looking for a good guide on how to do a timing belt on this car. I just did one but this will be good for the future. Thanks man!!
welcome Dillon
Thanks for this video. Thankful timing belts are a thing of the past.
Timing chains have issues also, chain "stretch" and eating up chain guides. Nissan has the ka24 that will actually start to wear on the block if left unattended.
you have the best repair videos
Amazing work 👏👍
Excellent! Thanks. Mine is due for this service in a few months.
I have same car, same color too. Well, 95% of these Camrys were in that color. 😂
Так держать. Уважаю людей которые своим руками зарабатывают.
As usual such a great job, Perfection my friend! Blessings to you and your family🤙🚙🛠🌟
thank you my friend. stay safe and stay well to you and the family. god bless
Great job, best of the ones I have watched.

you are a one hand repair person. impressive!
Torque to 31 ft lb, proceeds to snug it by hand. I'm dead 😂😂💀💀💀. Awesome video I'm subbed

Hey angel thank you you made my job a whole lot easier
Welcome brother
The good old bump start never fails....
You the man!
Buen trabajo 👍
Salutes from Ecuador, thanks por you vids.
You have patient man.God bless you.
Awesome! Just awesome. Straight to the point no bullshit. Only thing is after I did all this the car won’t start 😢 I believe it may be the timing is messed up at the crankshaft. You show a diagram with it having markings. Well this one does not, have them. Just on the plastic piece which sucks if it is off one has to put it all back together and then set it and then take apart again. The camshaft is set correctly as well.
Love your clips ( all of them)
Great details, less talk more acting
Easy to learn

This video is useful! Thank you Bro!
Good clip thanks
Its good idea with this job changing timing seal and crank seal
Love the dirty and bloody hands - a sign of a true mechanic!
Great 1 handed work and video in other hand. Nice trick of tightening the tensioner to hold the belt system in loose position until properly installed.
It works even better if you hand tighten bolt on tensioner pulley, then back it off about a half turn so pulley can move, then connect one end of spring to tensioner pulley and the other end to pin on engine block. Now push down on tensioner pulley as far as you can with one hand to stretch out the spring, hold it there and tighten bolt with wrench or socket. Tight enough so spring stays stretched out. Now put belt on like he did and when all the timing marks on camshaft and crankshaft are line up, loosen tensioner bolt and it will put tension on belt. Doing it this way, you won't struggle putting on the spring.
Good job Angel
Doc Franklin certified mechanic in Canada always watched your videos bro Godbless to you and your family

Busy as always , mending 🚗 cars , greetz frm europe
Thank God no more on newer Camry.lol. nice job.
Nice shots i needed to see engine block surface where pump and o ring contact. That's the great thing about a Toyota you can get away with using the pulleys till next belt change... lol,
thank you and your welcome brother
This reminds me of when I used to change the timing belts on the old Honda engines from the 90’s except it was much easier than this Toyota. I could do it in under an hour.
wow that's quick!! labor hours is 3 on this. am i right?
@@FixItAngel yeah shops would charge 3-4 hours for the job. 90’s honda/acuras B and D series engines were sooo easy that I used to change them out for people just out of boredom.
@@beastfromtheeast9318 bet you could do it with your eyes closed. lol stay safe brother
This dude says everything without saying a word. Can you do a video on the timing chain of a scion tc 05-08?
How did you tight properly the crankshaft bolt after installation
U R AWESOME👉 ANGEL👈😀
Boll Barning is found on Axcel's Autos
I did this job last year and stripped tensioner bolt
hi, when you tightened the new bolt, was it successful? or did you have to retap the hole? just curious. thank you for your time
@@FixItAngel I put in a longer bolt with treadlock and it worked saved me a headache
Quick question angel were do u go to find diagrams for the cars you are working on when u need to find out somthing
With out me knowing I am trying to reach through my screen to help him with the nuts and bolts 😂
OMG !!! this must be a 12 hundred dollar job at the stealership...what with all the disassembly you did to get it done...holy smokes...
In that car is 2 1/2 hour job. It doesn't require any special tool to lock the camshaft or crankshaft or both like in a Ford Focus or Fiesta, for example. There's a myth around timing belts, that it's a super complicated job, but is not that hard, and that's why they charge a lot of money for that.
Stealership is right! Some chain repair/tire shops also want to charge a lot & sell parts the car doesn't really need. Recently had $6K estimate from Big O' Tires. I'm just going to have my mechanics install the parts for a fraction of the cost. It's amazing how Angel fixes these cars single handedly! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hi Mr Fix It Angel.
Say why don't you brake something then fix it?
😁😆😆 haven't seen anything new in a few weeks.
I find your you tube channel to be very educational..
Maybe you can do more on 2012- 2021 Toyota Camry or other Toyota cars/ trucks?
Love your channel..👍👍
Great video as always 👍 Unfortunately I have a leaking freeze plug right behind the water pump housing. Only leaks when the engine is cold.
thanks for watching. that's unfortunate of that leak. try get it fixed soon.
@@FixItAngel Will do 🤙
Bro it’s been a while since ever since I need you to do that on a 03 sequoia lol
ya chelu, life happens. very busy with family. i wish i had time to help. thank you for watching.
FitItAngel I'm doing the oil pump seal and the cam seal. I can't get the harmonic bolt off. When you did the trick did you have a regular 1/2 ratchet and was it set to loosen? That's all I have to do? Wouldn't the ratchet just be able to spin the opposite way?. I have never done a timing belt before. I'm self taught mechanic. Thank you for all the help in advance.
Hey friend, how's it going? Hope your fine. I just have a quick question for you, is Lucas oil stabilizer additive safe to use in my vehicle? I drive a 2001 Sebring with 140k miles. Thanks partner, really enjoy your videos.
Its been awhile since I seen a single cam on a honda. I'm sure there's more I just haven't worked on it
Maybe next project-Head Gasket?
if it needed it. but it doesn't.
Can I adjust the timing on the harmonic balancer and belt after I put the new water pump on and put it back together?
Grandpa, tell me how to make Axel car. Replace Axel ball bearings or not
