Dunno if anyone cares but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all of the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my brother for the last couple of days :)
If your cat is peeing outside of it's litter box, there's often a medical reason. But if they do, my favorite go to, enzyme cleaner is made right here in the PNW, called Kids -N- Pets. It's been a life saver for getting out cat urine as well as vomit from carpet. It's important to not over saturate but to also leave it to dry, to allow the enzymes to do their job.
Cheers for this, been searching for "body odor change in early pregnancy" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Senaliyah Reputable Superiority - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is a good exclusive guide for discovering how to stop your excessive sweating without the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my buddy got cool success with it.
yes, I can't stand people who use plug in air fresheners and other scents to try to disguise odours instead of cleaning and airing the room and attacking the cause of the odours
I didn't know about soda. Thanks for tips. Ground coffee and activated charcoal tablets can help as well. It helped me after fire. Great video as usually 👍
I don’t know what we would do without our air purifier. I cook and cabbage stinks...until we got the air purifier, we would have to air out the house no matter what the weather was. Now I put it on full blast. It was worth the money.
@@AskAngelaBrown there's a product called "knock out"... it's considered industrial so you will have to call your local cleaning companies that are larger. It comes in a gallon jug of I remember correctly. It is an all 3 neutralize, disinfectant, & . The best thing about it is not only will you stop scrubbing ANYTHING because it works so well on EVERYTHING but it's also safe to spray into the air and vents. I work for a realtor and have had nightmare homes that I needed to clean put, clean up, repair, and prepare for the market . This stuff I swear by. It cost between $33-$37 but it goes a long way and will remove the exhaustion from how hard cleaners make you work just to end up stinking with a cleaner over smell. Hope I added to your arsenal.
I'm not a "house cleaner" but I was a landlord for 20 years and dealt with my share of dirty stinky tenants. Plain old white vinegar neutralizes odors and cleans at the same time. No fancy potions. Not rocket science. Simple $1.00 VINEGAR.
When I smell fragrance in laundry soap or even bathroom "freshener" it makes me gag. All I think of is that the clothes or the room are dirty...and its being covered up. Lilac smells like poop camouflage.
Hello, thank you for the video. Much useful info. I put about 1 cup of baking soda in the cat box really helps keep the odor down. Clean out the cat box as soon as possible and after a week change out the litter. Have a great day!
Yes there are cleaning products that do neutralize the odours of cat and dog urine, they work by breaking down the chemicals with enzyme action. They really do work. Mere vinegar and standard cleaning products do not work for pet urine. Nature designed urine and territory scent to be very resistant. There are products that also include live bacteria that will attack the byproducts of bacteria too.
I actually really "APPRECIATED" this little video.... I am a carpet & furniture cleaner. And I completely agree with you.... with ONE caveat -- I ? (myself?) I totally shy away from "Fresheners", .... why? b/c they solve NOTHING. Yes, yes.... I know they put a "pleasant" scent into the air, but that simply turns into "Replacing ONE stink with ANOTHER stink...." (even if it is the "stink" of flowers)......... in other words, you (as a cleaner) want to do the OTHER TWO THINGS FIRST....... before "Freshening" the air ..... you want to "De-odorize" and you want to "Sanitize" .... as much as possible.... or, said another way, .... you want to actually CLEAN the problem areas. And as you said about the smokers............. hell ............. I have done construction in my past..... sometimes it just doesn't even PAY to try to neutralize odors. SOMETIMES the only solution is to replace (or at LEAST repaint) the walls, carpet, ceiling.... and git that STINKY OLD furniture out, before you do it................. but that's if you are totally "resetting" the house. What I REALLY Liked about your video???? was your statement at the beginning............... "Clean.... smells like NOTHING"............... and I often say that to my customers. They MIGHT comment on how "good" the cleaning solutions smell..... (but I know the faint scent of lavender is only temporary, and the REAL "cleanliness" happens AFTER my project has completely and totally dried) ......... So I tell my customers, .... "the REAL idea, is to have NO SMELL ............. when all is dried". .......... and THAT is why I liked your video. Because "Clean"??? Smells like nothing........................ not even lavender, nor cinnamon, nor lilac................. it smells like NUTHIN'.
I don't have a specific one. But here are a variety of options to freshen your car's scent, such as vent clip air fresheners, hanging air fresheners, spray air fresheners, and scented gel or canister air fresheners. Choose one that suits your preference and avoid overpowering scents for a comfortable driving experience.
Angela Brown ok, so I got super lazy and just cracked open a box of baking soda and set it on my son’s dresser and IT WORKS! I also made him do laundry. 😉 and told him his room was stanky
Angela, my friend is not too involved in house cleaning. Her disposal has a hard mat in it, and water completely passes through it. Tonight I'm using that vinegar
Thank you so much for the video. In another video, you placed a box of Baking Soda behind a houseplant. Here, I thought you would mention houseplants. Houseplants can release smells (some pleasant, some not) and they can get sick with molds. bacteria, etc. A sick houseplant can release a huge waft of very unpleasant odor. Thanks
@@AskAngelaBrown OK, well. It happened. Not happily. I had a plant, which looking online told me was a "Pink Mosaic Plant." (I do not recall its scientific name, sorry.) Anyway. One day I noticed a horrid smell as if a large dog took a...... you get the smell there. Turns out, with some investigation, some critter, perhaps a fly, mosquito, invisible cat, etc. gave my beloved Pink Mosaic Plant a fungal infection of a most unpleasant odor. Argh! My plant had to go. On its last leg anyway, but sad. I can only hope to find another, non-infected Pink Mosaic Plant. It was soooo pretty. My humble abode is Pink Mosaic lacking and riddled with boxes of baking soda. Thanks to you. (You deserve a few promo bucks from Arm and Hammer.) Love your videos. Lots of clean joy!
I clean homes. I don’t know for how long I can keep doing it for !? When I get homes where people smoke my clothes penetrate with smoke. I come home take a shower but during the evening after I have showered I still have the smell in my nose. How can I control this??
So after this video I’m still wondering about how to fix cat urine. We had a cat with diabetes followed by cats and dogs that would then try to remark. One room is still particularly bad. Our source is gone (RIP), but are we basically stuck at getting it replaced and/or bringing in the professional carpet cleaners? **note I’m fairly certain that one part of the problem is there was wood sprayed on and I think it absorbed it-but looking for any advice
Have you tried Angry Orange? Here is the paid link so you can learn more about it amzn.to/3NpPv4S and it has an enzyme in it that dissolves the odor. Used in tandem with an ozone machine amzn.to/3yjakul, you should have really great results.
I am a smoker and I don't smoke in our home. My mother and step-father are smokers and smoke in their car, their home and worse yet, don't open the windows very often. When my mother decided she wanted to remodel and we took wall hangings off of the wall, it was horrible! You could actually "see" where the pictures were on the wall once we took them down from all the tar and nicotine build-up. Yes, I stopped and thought about my lungs but unless you're a smoker, you have no idea how difficult it is to quit! So, I smoke outside and in the winter (because I am a baby) I smoke in the garage. Yep, the garage gets cleaned "soft washed" and repainted every couple of years but it is worth it to me to have somewhere warm to smoke in the winter. LOL As far as pets go, we have a very old English Bulldog who has incontinence issues and God love her...but she has accidents and refuses to wear a diaper. She is let out every two hours and is on medication to help with the issue. Because we can't bare to part with her just yet, we pay a carpet cleaning service to clean our bedroom carpeting (only area with carpet) several times a year with an enzyme cleaner and they leave behind a bottle I can use in between time. It doesn't smell usually until about 2-3 months later and I have to have them back out to tackle the problem. Once she crosses that rainbow bridge, we are getting all new subfloor and flooring in the bedroom. LOL until then, I'll pay someone to keep it smelling nice.
Tina Jackson I got hooked twice over a pack a day cigarettes on purpose to see how Easy it is to quit. You just very slowly take fewer puffs, per cigarette a Day, and you’re able to quit. But people would rather use the excuse that They can not, because they don’t want to quit bad enough. Same thing With exercise. I need a right knee replacement really bad, and have even had a left swollen foot. But I drag myself across the damn floor in severe Pain for 2,400 steps per day to help with a life long depression. So, it Proves that if you really want to do something bad enough, you’ll do it.
I know this is old, but, if the garage is attached to the house, you are still smoking "in the house. " I sold real estate, and one client's house reaked of smoke. They were truly shocked by this because they "only smoke in the garage. " The smoke seeps through. You get the same odor and health issues as smoking in any other room in the house. Think about it. People die in fires because of smoke inhalation. The fire could be in the garage, but they die in their bedroom from inhaling the smoke. I think we like to justify things.
You have such good topics.ty how to get rid of musty smells? Also my back bathroom gets mildew smell but I clean it and dry but it returns my other bathroom has no issues?I my husband uses that bathroom I use an other. The bathroom I use is fine has a tub and shower his bathroom has a shower and separate tub.just not sure why his shower has mildew smell? Could it be drain. Ty sorry such a long qu😊estion.
To eliminate musty smells and address the recurring mildew smell in your back bathroom, follow these steps. First, identify the source of the odor, which could be dampness, mold growth, or plumbing issues. Ensure proper ventilation by installing or maintaining an exhaust fan and opening windows or doors for increased airflow. Deep clean the bathroom, including walls, floors, fixtures, and especially the shower and tub, using a mild detergent or vinegar solution. Check the shower drain and clear any buildup using a mixture of baking soda and vinegar followed by hot water. Inspect for leaks and repair any plumbing issues to prevent moisture accumulation. Consider using mold-resistant products like paint or caulk. After each use, wipe down surfaces and keep them dry. Monitor humidity levels and use a dehumidifier if needed. Maintain a regular cleaning routine and promptly address any signs of mold or mildew. If the problem persists, seek professional help from a plumber or mold remediation specialist.
Not only does pet urine smell and carry germs, but it can go right through your carpet and ruin (and stink up) the hardwood or other underlying flooring. So when someone buys the house and replaces the carpet they may also have to replace the subfloor.
I'm 21. I smoke and live with 2 smokers. All of this grime has gotten on my nerves so much I open a window now or sit on the porch. I'm going on my 14th quit attempt. Apparently trying to quit a lot is a good thing. Even if you don't immediately succeed; try minimizing damage. If you aren't ready to give it up yet, then this is a step. Keep trying.
Thank You. This is a very good advice especially the part about having conversation with the house owners regarding the ODOR. Yes its a different conversation.
Inherited a beautiful area rug that unfortunately suffers cat urine odor. Scrubbed top and bottom with Mr. Clean which cleaned the dirt pretty well but left the odor. Searched and found the usual remedies (baking soda, Hydrogen Peroxide, vinegar, et al) but also a risk-free trial offer for Pooph Pet Odor Eliminator. Do you think Pooph will solve the problem? Figured what do I have to lose. Thank you!
Thank you for your question. you really need an enzyme cleaner to break down the urine proteins. If Pooph is an enzyme-based product, it might do the trick. Otherwise, look for cleaners specifically labeled as enzymatic for the best results👍
I need help if you do check this video often to help answer people's questions. I do need help here. T We hosted an African man in our home and he stayed in our guest bedroom for a week. I checked the guest bedroom and there was a strong odor lingering in the air. I am thinking could this be this body odor? Of course, I tried "freez spray" that only works temporarily. I removed all beddings to be washed. I removed the polyester curtains to be wash (by hands). Some of the smell left but I can still smell some left behind. What would be a good method before my next guest come at the end of this week. Thank you
The yellowing due to bleach might be permanent and difficult to fully remove. You could try using hydrogen peroxide or baking soda, but test these products on a small area first to see if they work at all
@@AskAngelaBrown thank you so much for responding!! I tried the peroxide and it worked like a charm!! The yellow stains disappeared before my eyes. I enjoy your channel and expertise! Thanks again.
Hi good video I just wanted to know how can i get rid of per smell my cat pee on the wood floor and wanted your help what can i get to use to clean it and get rid of the smell as well because it's a strong smell Hope to hear from you soon Thanx Munir
Do you know about OdoBan? amzn.to/397KoUB It's a disinfectant odor eliminator. And they sell it at Wal-Mart. We've been using it for 30+ years and it's a fantastic product that you can use whenever your cat has an accident.
@@AskAngelaBrown Amen to OdoBan! That stuff works when the so-called enzyme cleaners fail. As a bonus- it is also a disinfectant (useful for cleaning in these pandemic times!). As an RN, I have come across many odors in people's homes as a home health nurse. The absolute worst of all time was a malignant cancer wound of the face which became gangrenous. The odor was unbearable. In the medical field, we have resources that may not come to mind to the average consumer - but is available to the average consumer. The only intervention that gave some relief to that horrible odor was a product made by Hollister known as M9. A little goes a long way. A quick Google search will lead anyone interested to a supplier. Just thought I'd share a resource that people might not think of when battling odors.
My mom has incontinence and I am looking for something to eliminate strong urine odor. Even after a deep clean her whole house still smells. Thank you.
I have an old dog who is starting to have accidents. I bought a bissel spot rug shampooer for dog accidents, but I am worried that the hardwood floor underneath my tacked-down carpet may still be wet and is getting ruined. Is there any way to make sure the floor beneath the carpet gets dry after a spot shampoo? Thank you--love your videos!
Hi Music Notes, great question. I don't recommend homeowners or house cleaners clean their carpets for the very reasons you mention. A professional who cleans carpets has the water extractors and fans needed to get the carpets dry and they are insured and will guarantee their work. This will prevent ruined carpets, and warped wood underneath.
I don’t have any experience in training a dog to use a litter box. I recommend reaching out to your veterinarian. I’d love to hear back on how this worked out : )
I'm looking for a lazy solution for my stinky work boot socks lol. Will a plug in "negative ion odor eliminator" thingy make any difference? I have a dyson air purifier also trying to get all hands on deck lol
If after washing your socks, if they still stink, you may consider putting a charcoal pack in your socks bin. amzn.to/3qwPsJe They absorb odors and will leave your socks smelling fresh.
@@AskAngelaBrown appreciate that tip! ive got little charcoal packs for my shoes at the moment. the latest upgrade is a battery powered ozone generator that I can schedule to run while Im not in the room
I understand how tough it can be to control pet urine odor! Frequent litter changes are usually key - try scooping solids daily and replacing all litter 1-2 times per week. Also, you could mix in baking soda or enzymatic cleaners when putting fresh litter in the box.
I know this is an older video, but I just watched it after watching your new pet fur video. Did you read the part in Dan Airley's book, Predictably Irrational, about the marketing of Febreze? (I think it was in that book.) Wasn't that fascinating?
Will any charcoal in a bag help get rid of pet orders? No one smokes in my home and cats use litter box. There is still pet orders in my home. Cat litter cleaned everyday. Will charcoal used for fish tanks work?

hi there nice video, I recently had an accident with a person they peed a little on the floor but it's a carpet. I scrubbed with water and soap but now that it's drying smells a little, what can I put on it to get rid of the odor and kill any bacterial? I can't really afford a carpet cleaning service unfortunately.
I hope some of these suggestions in this video could be of use for getting rid of the odor: th-cam.com/video/YgnmgJ9uezg/w-d-xo.html Drop me a line and let me know how things work out.
In addition to a million other reasons not to smoke, smoking lowers the value of your home because indeed the smell gets embedded in all the surfaces. Same with your car. And yes if the people keep smoking, you're certainly not going to get rid of the smell
SMOKING in the house not only affects their house but when I have asthma and my son has horrible lungs himself it affects me when I come and try and clean. Then I struggle and can bring that home to my child. I really hate when people smoke indoors. It is to the point I have to refuse jobs because of this.
I really feel sorry for your son. Most of the people specially smokers don't think the harm with this. Except that if you have any this kind of problem there are many products which you can use to remove smoke smell from your car, house and apartments. You can review them here also.
Oh no! Here is a link that can help: www.caninejournal.com/how-to-get-dog-pee-smell-out-of-carpet/ I know cleaning but this site knows dogs! I hope this helps but please keep me posted on how the carpet turns out.
How to get rid of moth ball smell? I have an old chest of my mother in laws I I had when she passed away. That chest I 😊would like to use once moth ball smell is gone .
To get rid of mothball smell from an old chest, there are several steps you can take. First, place the chest in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors, to allow fresh air to circulate. This can help dissipate the odor over time. Next, wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces of the chest with a mixture of white vinegar and water or a solution of baking soda and water. These natural odor absorbers can help neutralize the mothball smell. Afterward, you can leave an open container of activated charcoal, coffee grounds, or baking soda inside the chest to absorb any remaining odors. Remember to periodically replace the odor-absorbing material until the smell is completely gone. Additionally, airing out the chest in a sunny location can help accelerate the process. With time, patience, and these odor-eliminating techniques, you should be able to enjoy using the chest once the mothball smell has dissipated. Hope this helps!
one of my bathrooms the person who owned the house before apparently smoked a lot and even though we have had it repainted and remodeled the whole house when my son takes a shower in that bathroom little streaks of yellow tar Come out of the wall and drip down to the baseboard and I have to clean it every day! Help! What can I do to make this stuff go away....They used kilz but that didn’t work apparently
It may sound extreme but I would consider the thin hardibacker board over the existing drywall? When they used Kilz, was it oil based? I would expect the oil based to cover? Sorry for your challenge. Yikes!
Thank you. You're a real professional. So HAPPY that I stumbled across your channel. I'm a new subscriber as of 7 January 2020. I wish that I had the kind of info that you teach when I was in my 30's...I'll be 68 next month! I still clean apartments and houses part time. May God be with you.
Tip for anyone with small dogs that have occasional accidents- washable doggie diapers are wonderful. Velcro closure, machine wash and dry, great for training, or adjusting doggo to a new environment, or through trauma or illness, or even as a permanent fix, if necessary. Saved our carpets, and always good when visiting others with dogs that my little fella might be tempted to mark their spaces.
I use OdorKlenz to fix all these issues! The pet odor eliminator neutralizes and breaks down the pet urine along with every other smell in my carpets, and any other smells in the air like smoke is purified with their mobile unit. It sucks in all that stink and neutralizes the odors while capturing particles like dander with a HEPA filter
Did someone try to put baking soda streight on a matras to eliminate urine odor ? Did it help…? What are the instructions for that? Thank you for your advice
Not sure what you are referencing but baking soda will absorb the smell - and here is an article from a mattress company that gives instructions www.mattressfirm.com/blog/mattress-obsessed/how-to-clean-a-mattress-urine-stains
Yes. I tried when my toddler had an accident. Mix peroxide, dawn dishwashing soap and baking soda. Spray and let it air out. Google the exact proportions of the mix on utube.
Dear Angela, Doesn't Lysol spray kill bacteria in the air? It's supposed to...and have you ever gotten cat pee out of carpet? There's a product called, 'Natures Miracle'- what's your opinion on this product? My cats say... Piss me off & I'll piss on your carpet, or by doors... Jackson Galaxy finds that strange cats are coming around outside, so the pet kitty marks the territory.
What do you think is the best option for carpet shampoo device for pet urine odors. A apartment owner has come across a few houses that have had urine smells and I would like to know who I can refer them to or if I could do it myself with a store rental etc. is steam Better or what do you usually recommend?
Tiffany dawne the pet urine actually gets trap between the carpet and the sub floor. The way to get rid of the odor is to get rid of pets and pull up the carpet then paint with an odor destroying primer. Then replace the carpet.
Bring cat or dog to the Veterinarian if they are peeing or defecating in inappropriate places as it could be a sign of a health problem that can be serious such as urinary tract infection or blockage. Do not assume it is a “behavioral” problem. Also chemical fragrances are neurotoxins. They should be kept away from pets/children. Please reconsider your advice.
I found getting my air ducts cleaned every few years takes the odor level down and helps with the dust. Replace furnace filter often (I have 2 large dogs) and I put a few drops of vanilla or almond extract on it before putting it in the furnace. A do it yourself method is to shove the vacuum hose down into the air vents as far as possible. You can also get filters that go behind or on the vent covers. I also use a box fan with a furnace filter attached to the air intake side and that collects tons of hair and dust. Charcoal filters are best for odors.
Thanks for the information, your Utube video is the most helpful. I am moving into an apartment that smells like smoke, I want to get rid of it, I don't want to mask it, I want it gone. I will try some of your suggestions. Thanks again.

For stinky shoes (I wear sandals barefoot unless it's snowing and they can end up honking!) I find letting them dry out overnight then spritzing with rubbing alcohol and leaving for half an hour works like a miracle. I'm also long-term fostering an ancient cat who is very good at using his liter tray, even so wood pellet litter absorbs the pee smell better than any other litter I've tried. All litter makes a mess and this is no worse than other types. I'm afraid smoking indoors is my downfall (rolling tobacco, which is a bit less stinky than standard cigarettes). Burning candles, giving the walls a wash every so often with a spray mop with sugar soap, and sprinkling bicarb of soda with a little essential oil mixed in on carpets and leaving for a while before vaccuming does help a lot, as does leaving my upstairs window open almost permanently. I've no doubt non-smokers would still smell it but my house is far from disgusting and while I'd rather not be addicted to nicotine I'd also rather live comfortably and do a 'real big push' on cleaning and redecorating when it comes to resale.
Are there videos that basically give directions and ingredient? I can't listen to long. drawn. out. videos. Sorry. Gotta start somewhere. And sure I am missing some good tips. But my brain just can't do long talking videos.
Question can you make a video on the best way to clean pet hair ? I have a client that has tons of cat hair all over the house and it take me real long to pick it up :(

I have had the same problem..try dustmopping first..then quickly edging with your vacuum..also my customer purchased herself a dyson cordless vacuum and helps stay on top of cat hair between my Cleanings..so much easier now ;)..plus she appreciates the fact I have time to attack other projects! Win win..from the get go..I tell my customers we are in this "together"...also..flip that dust mop over and vacumm quickly..as it fills with cat hair!! Hope this helps!
LOL. Get some of the baking soda boxes they look like this (paid link amzn.to/3e02YV5) and they have a pop out side with a vent on them that allows the stinky air in where the baking soda neutralizes it. Leave these boxes in the bathroom, living room, bedroom, kitchen - wherever your roommate goes. And if possible, put them in an inconspicuous place that has good ventilation. As the air in the room circulates it will help eliminate the odors.
Freas clean air does have a smell. If you have ever gone outside in the snow or smelled the air after a rain. Open the windows in spring. The air does have a fresh smell.just not artificial like the s p rays.
Wow, repetition is a teaching method, but the obvious, don't smoke, don't let your pets urinate needs no mention, much less repetition. If I was bull headed enough to still mention the obvious, I would try to not insult people's intelligence by first stating "obviously", which says I know that you know, and I would then never, never repeat. Unfortunately I have an older dog who will pee in her sleep. OBVIOUSLY I need to find a better way to deal with this than I have thus far. Probably a crate, but she was a puppy farm rescue so I feel badly about putting her back in a cage. Anyway, as Chef Gordon Ramsey says, he doesn't learn from praise, but from critics. Beyond the beating a dead horse, on TH-cam you are burning viewers time. The more concise the better. Stories are fine as long as they are pertinent and concise, if they are somehow interesting or humorous, so much the better. This video was tedious. Try watching it objectively, as someone who wants an answer to a problem. I would never put dissimilar issues together. Yes, smell is smell, but someone with smoke or urine issues doesn't want to hear about the other. Short, pertinent story preferably humorous ones, and single issue would serve you and your viewers well. Yes, I have had professional training, experience, and feedback.
Hi Polina, the name of the show is "Ask a House Cleaner" and it is targeted to professional cleaners. Did you have a question for homeowners that I could answer for you?
@@AskAngelaBrown "ask a housecleaner" does not imply it is for housecleaners. Just like a video for dog nutrition can be called "ask a vet" but not be directed at other vets. Yes I wanted to know how to get rid of bad odour - not get a lesson on how to act & behave as a housecleaner 🤦

I love this!! So awesome!!! Thanks for sharing your feedback! 😊🙌
I'm not a "house cleaner" but I was a landlord for 20 years and dealt with my share of dirty stinky tenants. Plain old white vinegar neutralizes odors and cleans at the same time. No fancy potions. Not rocket science. Simple $1.00 VINEGAR.
This is great! Thank you for sharing your tip and thanks for watching. 🙂
When I smell fragrance in laundry soap or even bathroom "freshener" it makes me gag. All I think of is that the clothes or the room are dirty...and its being covered up. Lilac smells like poop camouflage.
Thanks so much for watching the show and leaving a comment. 👍
Hello, thank you for the video. Much useful info. I put about 1 cup of baking soda in the cat box really helps keep the odor down. Clean out the cat box as soon as possible and after a week change out the litter. Have a great day!
Great tip! Thanks for sharing and for watching the video, I appreciate it!
Yes, I like Odoban for that purpose👍
If animals smell of urine - make sure litter boxes are cleaned regularly and that the pet is healthy - they could be ill and trying to tell you
This is true and a good tip. Thanks for your furry friends tips. :-)
What a good freshener for car?
I don't have a specific one. But here are a variety of options to freshen your car's scent, such as vent clip air fresheners, hanging air fresheners, spray air fresheners, and scented gel or canister air fresheners. Choose one that suits your preference and avoid overpowering scents for a comfortable driving experience.
I’m going to use the baking soda in a sock method in my sons room. I’m super intrigued if it neutralizes that teen odor.
Angela Brown ok, so I got super lazy and just cracked open a box of baking soda and set it on my son’s dresser and IT WORKS! I also made him do laundry. 😉 and told him his room was stanky
awesome works good you can put little in carpet shampoo. test small section first. make sure it doesn't discolor your carpet. it does work on mine.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing this.
Angela, my friend is not too involved in house cleaning. Her disposal has a hard mat in it, and water completely passes through it. Tonight I'm using that vinegar
Give it a try! I hope it helps with her disposal.
Thanks
Thanks for taking the time to share this information.
LOL
As far as pets go, we have a very old English Bulldog who has incontinence issues and God love her...but she has accidents and refuses to wear a diaper.

Non smokers can still smell the smoke of those who smoke right outside their door too. But not nearly as bad to clean or try to remedy.
Smoking outdoors makes so much more sense than smoking indoors where tar and smell are left behind. Thanks for sharing this.
Not only does pet urine smell and carry germs, but it can go right through your carpet and ruin (and stink up) the hardwood or other underlying flooring. So when someone buys the house and replaces the carpet they may also have to replace the subfloor.
Thanks so much for writing me a comment and for watching my video. 🤗
yes. If the subfloor is concrete, that can be sealed over with odour neutralizing sealants
I'm 21. I smoke and live with 2 smokers. All of this grime has gotten on my nerves so much I open a window now or sit on the porch. I'm going on my 14th quit attempt.
Otherwise, look for cleaners specifically labeled as enzymatic for the best results👍
as Angela says for pet urine you have to have a product containing enzymes that break down and neutralise uric acid or else the smell just comes back
@@SueRosalie Went with an enzymatic cleaner as suggested after Pooph failed. Rug saved.
Thank you
HI, I cleaned my bathtub using bleach a number of times and now I have yellow streaked lines in my tub. How do I remove those or can I? Thanks
The yellowing due to bleach might be permanent and difficult to fully remove. You could try using hydrogen peroxide or baking soda, but test these products on a small area first to see if they work at all

In addition to a million other reasons not to smoke, smoking lowers the value of your home because indeed the smell gets embedded in all the surfaces. Same with your car. And yes if the people keep smoking, you're certainly not going to get rid of the smell
Agree
SMOKING in the house not only affects their house but when I have asthma and my son has horrible lungs himself it affects me when I come and try and clean. Then I struggle and can bring that home to my child. I really hate when people smoke indoors. It is to the point I have to refuse jobs because of this.
I really feel sorry for your son. Most of the people specially smokers don't think the harm with this. Except that if you have any this kind of problem there are many products which you can use to remove smoke smell from your car, house and apartments. You can review them here also.

Any suggestions for my off grid cabin which has a closed in wood sort of smell as we are only there three seasons?
Bring cat or dog to the Veterinarian if they are peeing or defecating in inappropriate places as it could be a sign of a health problem that can be serious such as urinary tract infection or blockage. Do not assume it is a “behavioral” problem. Also chemical fragrances are neurotoxins. They should be kept away from pets/children. Please reconsider your advice.
Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for watching and for sharing your feedback.
I learned things there. Thanks 👍
Smoker's homes are disgusting. Crazy cat people homes are a different kind of disgusting. Gonna need degreaser and enzymes to remove that stench.
I appreciate you leaving a comment. 👍
Thanks so much for watching the video and sharing your thoughts. I value your opinion and appreciate you taking the time to leave your comment. 👍
It doesnt solve the problem
What have you used that did work?
@@AskAngelaBrown nothing yet.
My basement smells of animal urine
I thought this would help me get rid of bad odours, instead she talked as if everypne of is is a homecleaner. No thx 🙄
I like the one about the baking soda 😊
Awesome videos !
Your right the only way to clean pet odor or smoke is to pull up carpet and paint with odor killing primer
She sounds like Ellen...
LOL. Thanks so much for the compliment. 😍
