when my controller is connected via USB it works perfectly but I connect via bluetooth it's not stable, the same happened with 8bitDo controller, I think I have issues with my bluetooth, how can I fix that? I tried reconnect but it's still paired and not connected.

im using a dualsense controller (PS5) and when i press the buttons while playing Fortnite, it gives a insane FPS drop, from 144 to 8 fps, i have a great pc, almost new, but that happened too in my last one.

there is a problem with the ds4 and it is that it accelerates the joystick on the horizontal axis, it is noticeable especially on the right when u are moving the camera or pointing with a weapon... any idea how to solve it????

So I'm trying to make a ds4 profile specifically for warzone using my PS4 controller and when I try to configure the buttons in the profile menu it's showing my keyboard and mouse instead of the Xbox controller.. so I start messing with the keyboard binds to get them to match up with my PS4 controller and it doesn't work... Every video I've seen on TH-cam shows u matching your binds with whatever controller you use to an Xbox controller..My only thought for this not working is that I'm using a laptop, any answers for this? It let's me walk around in game so I know it works but the binds are kinda screwy..

You kinda didn't explain the options that well but nice video overall, still giving it a thumbs up... But, as an example, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order won't work properly if you don't change the Axis Dead Zone Type from "Radial" (the default option) to "Axial".. I'm not quite sure why but the game will not recognize the right stick and only use the touchpad as if it were the right stick in case you don't change that option... very weird, I agree, but it does happen... and with an "AAA" game...

Bro its making me mad when i try to install it and whenever i watch videos they always skip over it. I have to do the second step with the drivers because i run on windows 7. When i click the second step it just brings me to xbox support microsoft website idk where the drivers are

Is there a way to switch between controller and mouse+keyboard seemlessly with this? My PS4 controller is working, but when i drag my mouse somewhere, the screen starts to spaz between controller and keyboard options. (For example the button option on the screen switches between the press down on d-pad on controller and “B” on the keyboard, and then back again over and over until i stop moving my mouse)
Theoretically it should already work that way. If you're trying to swap between your controller and your keyboard and everything is freaking out then I'm not really sure what would cause that.

Strange. Might have had a hiccup when you downloaded it. Try downloading a fresh installer and see if that helps.

I did all the steps and the application can't detect my controller even after ots wirelessly paired on bluetooth or USB connected.
So the program has two modes you can actually physically click the stop button to pause DS4 so that it doesn't run all the time. So when the program is in run mode the button in the lower right-hand corner should give you the option to stop if it gives you the option to start you need to click it so that it started. I noticed when I was making another tutorial that sometimes it doesn't start in start mode
Or check if you have a original ps4 controller cable, some cheap chargers only charge and do not sync

I don't know. There's a lot of things that could cause that. Best I can offer is you can ask on the GitHub page for help and like report it as an bug.

When my controller is connected the mouse will always move back to the center and that makes navigating with the mouse impossible during games. Do you have any fixes for that?

Yes. It also supports switch pro controller, PS5, and the others listed at the bottom of the website.

Thanks for this Video, how do you make the touchpad as a single button or actual button, not a mouse button click on right side for example. I want to use the touchpad as button to open the map in Forza Horizon 5 but doesn't seem to do anything when I try to assign it. Have tried playing around with the touchpad settings but to no avail.

Edit your profile, on the Touchpad tab at the bottom is "Button Activation Mode:" Click (to push all the way till it clicks) Touch (to push without clicking like a touchscreen) Release (to activate button only after you take your finger of it).
Hello I’m having a problem on warzone where I’m delayed and I micro stutter in game but my fps does not drop, just my movement is really delayed and I can’t use my movement like I once was.
The most stable way to use your controller is probably with a cable. You can reduce your input delay in your settings profile to like 1ms. You can also disable giving DS4 windows data from the controller like battery level and stuff. Those things reduce input lag. There is a guide video if you search on the channel that will show you if you need a guide.

I bought used DS4 and user before me turned off vibrations and L3 R3 buttons. How can i restore to factory default settings. He used to lay on PC im using PS4 PRO and when playing on PS is reading his profile and cannot turn back on. Please help guys! Thanks.
To factory reset the controller. THere is a button on the back of the controller under the light bar. Its hiding in a tiny pin-hole. Take a pin or a paper clip and press it in there for 12seconds. You've reset the controller.

Hi, great tutorial, thank you....but i cant connect my ps4 controller to Ds4/Windows. It just wont recognize it at all. I've installed the latest Ds4 and all the needed programs. Even checked to make sure the controller isnt hidden. Cant see anything under "Controllers" in DS4 using USB. Can ANyone help? Thx!

Beceause when you first plug a controller into PC, the pc makes your controller your sound item. And since a controller isn’t a speaker, it just silent.
You can simply just just go into ur sound setting and choose your default speaker.

Hi! Can anyone confirm before I'm buying a ds4 for halo infinite if it is compatible with a ds4. The button layout ingame is xbox controller.
If you haven't bought the controller yet I would recommend buying an Xbox controller because it works better with PC

You can select the joystick in the settings profile picture. Then tell it to function as a mouse pointer.

this is really annoying, i want to use sense and deadzone that modern warfare provides but ds4 keeps changing my deadzone and input curve type when i want to leave that alone and use the input curve type that modern warfare provides.

Did the controller show up inside of DS4 Windows when you were setting it up? Remember that you need to see it in the list of connected devices inside of the software for it to work. You also need to leave DS4 Running. It may also help to run DS4 Windows as admin.
@@ChupacabraTutorials yes it showed the controller in the list and I could edit the color the pad worked as a mouse but I couldn't play with the controller in minecraft

You can manually reduce the input delay in the settings
when i go to connect my controller it only says paired but i cant actually connect
It says its paired on your computer but doesnt show up in the device list in DS4? You might try using the button in the lower right hand side to toggle the program on/off and see if that jogs it loose.
