Kautvams are traditionally performed as invocatory pieces in Bharatanatyam performances. They have acombination of verbal syllables, shollukattu and verses that are in praise of the deity. This kautvam is in praise of lord Nataraja.

She finds Shiva and herself moves with the grace of Goddess Parvati... What a treat to eyes is her presence is and what a treat to soul is to witness her spirit dance... The only complaint I have is with the sloppy camera movements that, at times, obstructed viewers from having full view of her grace.

The apparent contrast.
'The Lord of the Great Dance', He-She, Shiva Natarāja, even in the most chaotic and hostile environments - alien and distant to harmony and order (Rta) - even there, in the chaos produced by the misuse given to freedom (free will), even there, GOD - the Absolute Being - shines forth and experiences His own glory as the lotus that does not get dirty in the swamp.
Very beautiful dance in the midst of the chaos produced by the human being. The Light shines in the midst of Maia. It can only be contemplated by the grace of pure vision.

I can't agree with this as I feel it only affects those that are trying to genuinely enjoy the art. The plagiariser can still download and stitch it back up or use it in pieces.
@@AnandamoyBandyopadhyay plagiriser cannot stitch it back. Thats why this is done. Unfortunately even those who want to enjoy music dont realise how much goes into creating a track. So some of us, especially dancers who have to pay huge amounts to studios to make music, have to protect ourselves in some way. The track will be available on itunes and spotify after a few months. You can enjoy it seamlessly then. 🙏🙏🙏

Hello Rukmini. I am watching these dance moves and can see a similarity with martial arts movement. In many cultures fighting techniques are hidden in dance. Eastern martial arts came from India and I am wondering if you have ever explored these dance moves in the light of fighting arts.
According to history/legend Bodidharma came from India especially where this classical dance tradition is originated (state : Tamil Nadu, India).
