Used Hangman Stone Lane from the High Melton end when I did a non-stop 92 mile sponsored walk from Derby to York, back in 2005. Nice part of the Country!
Great ride nice to be able to share it with you, once out of most northern towns lovely countryside with not too far to travel and quite a number of fuelling stations for us, thanks for the ride take care North west biker dude alias Bay Bimbler
What a fantastic ride that was. You have so many fantastic roads for leisure riding. I will be getting a bike this spring and I am already looking for windy roads on Google Maps for my area, Northern Washington State, USA, and creating routes. I can't wait to get exploring. It just isn't the same in a car.
Out around some of the riding roads of my youth. In High Melton, you rode past the end of Hangmanstone Lane. On your left. Whilst J&S has a great selection of clothing etc, it’s not the same without motorcycles for sale, to browse. The crossroads at Hickleton can be a nightmare to turn right onto the A road. Very accident prone area.
Hi Dave . I was brought up around that neck of the woods. Great roads . Did you know that Doncaster is part of Scotland since 1136 . Treaty of Durham .😊
Argh, you missed the other end of Hangman Stone Lane at 6.55 (opposite end of the village from Sheep Lane). And on the opposite side of the road set back is a nice coffee house and a nice cafe in "The Stables". Yes you have to watch for the two big bumps by the house along side the wood at 19.03, and then cars pulling out of the hidden car park on the left. I use all those lanes quite a lot to get from where I live across to the North of Doncaster and beyond without using the A1 or main roads
Great cafe, warm baps are really good on a cold day! Bike is looking good, have you thought about p clips for fitting the lights? You can get them up to 35mm diameter so will fit round the crash bars and they’re rubber lined so won’t scratch the paint etc?
Your best videos are the ones with a history lesson or a good legend imbedded in them
Always enjoy your videos
Nice ride out, thanks Dave.
Love the videos, amazing scenery, nice to see the cafes you visit too.
Really good video 👏👏👏👍

Nice to see Donny again. I left the area 51 years ago. Where does time go?

Nice ride about, Dave, idjit youth notwithstanding 😅 I think that I'll look into purchasing a heated vest, and extend my riding season a touch...
Steeped in history South Yorkshire. I live in Barnsley and we often take for granted whats around us!
Perfect excuse for Full English Breakfast, makes the bike more stable 😊
Never mind the sheep falling off the stone, I reckon an irate Shepherd or the Farmer found him asleep and decided to save the Magistrates a job...😂
Velcro gloves?
