Unisport my biggest take away was realizing that knowing you’re better than a starter isn’t going to cut it and that there’s so much more that comes into play and that you can’t just be good you have to be better than everyone else

Here in Brazil everywhere you go, there will be kids playing football, and trust me, they do it really well. I’m 13, and I think I am good. I practice every single day. I just don’t think I am good enough. Literally every single kid here in my country have the dream of being football player, and I can’t imagine how many next ronaldinhos or Neymars there are around my country and I don’t think ill ever be that good thanks for all the positive comments, guys
Same way here in India 90% of the kids join cricket academy.. few of them play really well even before they are 10. But football has no scope here.. barely 1% of the country's population play football

G'day from Canada to Finland, correct? My name is Peyton, and I sound very generic when I write comments, or letters, or anything. I really appreciate the perspective that you have, and your experiences as well. I am currently in my 2nd last year of high school and have played with my varsity HS team, and was asked to join a men's league team a few years back, and am finally able to play with them now at 17 years old. I have also attempted to start a connection with the soon to commence Canadian Premier League. I have played against guys in my weekly futsal club who have been to the CPL trials and also MLS trials, and usually can outplay them. I am just trying to show my experience. House league, it is mostly just fun for me, I scored about 35-36 goals last season and got more assists in about 15 games, but I know that this is not the pinnacle of all sport. Blah blah blah, what would you suggest to be the next step for me in my hopes to be involved with the game? I realise that the question may sound brash, but I don't intend to come off that way. I aim to play for a University team in the near future, and wish to have an exchange from Canada to Europe. I have lived across Canada, and am definitely unafraid of moving; I would embrace it. Of course, in Europe there are already roots in the ground for lower league soccer, though not as much in Canada. I don't really expect you to have read this, but any advice would be incredible. I work a lot and pay to play at the moment. All of the money I spend on soccer is my own; I don't have a money stream from my parents, or expect it. I live outside of a rural town, but we have a pitch about 25 minutes away. Combined with that, men's league, the varsity team and futsal, is this a well run vehicle to achieve my goal, or am I missing some major parts? I realise that this is very long-winded, and that you may not have so much free time, but I would gladly accept any criticism from an experienced professional. Im pretty much a self taught soccer player and when I got into my high school soccer team the truth from what he said cant be any more real. Being good isnt good enough. The coaches already knew many of the players so pretty much all of them are put at the top. I'm fine with it. You camt fight with history but I do want to play professionally not for the money. Hell if I could play pro but not getting payed good I'll do it. Soccer is just something I cant leave. It's the one thing I can say I love with a passion I cant explain. Mark my words when I say I'll become something out of nothing. Wonder if anyone read this.

I'm in South Africa and I'm 12 years old.... I went to a development trial and they told me I didn't make it because I'm white... I cried for days but I heard a voice in my head tell me it's all the more reason to train harder and I wake up every morning at 5.30am to go to gym and do drills and all these things help motivate me to do better..
Josh I'm also South African i have had some trouble getting selected but trust me just keep pusing i pushed my self and now i went to sweden to the gothia cup and next year I'm going to the mayor cup in Los Vegas. Just push ur self and the opportunities will come

when I was about 11 and playing in a recreational league, I had moved from playing left defender to having to jump in goal because our keeper had left to play club. Being the biggest guy on the team and the bravest I decided to volunteer myself as the goalie. I was not very good of course. however, as time went on. One of my teammate's dad had offered his help to train me. Thats when my whole life changed. At 13 I was the most feared keeper at that league. Clean sheets every game for multiple seasons. At 13 years old I went to tryouts for a local club. I made the cut. By sophomore year I had made a name in my city for being a well known goalkeeper, especially for my small stature. I had done so many tournaments and cups and seasons. I had gone to England to play in an international cup. Played in Vegas. In such a short time I was just overwhelmed with success. My dad always told me to not let it get to my head, but I did just that. I started to slack on my diet, my workouts, my exercises away from the team. The results showed immediately. I seemed to not be able to keep up with what was necessary to reach where I possibly could have been. To this day I still think about what that path would have given me. I am 19 now however, and have decided to coach. Hopefully I can help the next Jerry Bocanegra and prepare him
I have the same experience except i played till i was thirteen i was good enough for modified and travel but i got lazy and quit im 19 now and got a job as a coach after falling back into the game

I played 2 years in Mexico for the minors of pro team called toluca then my parents stop supporting me because my dad was jealous of him never playing pro.. Now am 21 I would love to still give it a shot but I'm sure it will not happen

Im almost 14, ive been in North York Hearts fc, i played 1 season and in the winter season i was basicly kicked out. And now ive got a lot, better, now im planning to join toronto fc, i dont know how will it go, but i guess ill prepare for the worst and hope for the best. For all the other young players who want to be come a pro, just believe in your self, hard work will bring you everywhere.
To become pro, it takes more than just confidence and skill, you need to take risks, risks, and more risks. And if you're not okay with that, football isn't for you.

Being younger I loved football but didn’t understand the game, all I knew was ball and goal. No offsides no nothing… I just kick ball in goal, like that’s all I knew. Now I’ve learnt dribbles, techniques, etc. I’ve come down the rabbit hole of football
I wish I had watched this before my trial, but I'm never giving up and I'm waiting for my second chance. The coach played me in my worst position but still I did my best... This really helps mentally and motivates , I’m a goalkeeper and have failed 2 trials for separate academies in one year last year but recently I hade a trial with a youth academy that presents talent to many clubs and I made it through. This is just a reminder to never give up and even the greats were once beginners
It's all about the long run man. At 15 I was cut from my youth team that I had played over five season for. I made sure to keep my head up and less than two months later I was able to make it into D.C. United's academy's system. Like Will said there are going to be up's and down's. You have to just keep pushing forward. Especially in a position as fickle as goalkeeping.

Here I am a year after the release of his video to share my experience to whoever wants to read it: II was born in 1975 and grew up playing soccer in Brazil. Started at age 6 in the neighborhood futsal team. Soon I was playing both 11v11 and futsal. At age 12 I moved to an amateur youth system program (Pompeia FC). Next year I was taken to America-MG youth system and soon after to Cruzeiro. I saw (and played with and against) some of the best of my generation. At 18 Cruzeiro gave me a pro contract. I was paid close to nothing but hey, I was a pro. But my career would end two and a half years later. After being loaned to America-MG twice and then to Villa Nova-MG my family told me to "rethink this whole soccer thing". I did. I regretted it at times but I felt like I wasn't really as driven and willing to become a football nomad to keep on going. The daily life of my short pro career included restricted time with family and friends, controlled meals, training, training, training, and sitting on the bench a lot. It wasn't for me. It’s hard to find an academy near me here in the United States and when my parents and I do find one we have to pay so much money that we don’t have and can’t afford anytime soon so idk what to do
Must be fake a academy. Real academy teams only charge for your jerseys and registration which is maybe 500$ 1 time a year the rest is funded by the teams younger teams which makes it an academy and free

One day I searched in Google that do European clubs take Indian people ,the answer was that the don't pay attention to them and no Indian has ever made to European clubs. After that I felt very bad and cried 😭 for days and last my motivation.but after seeing this I am feeling motivated.😀

Determination, Confidence, and persistence is what you need. If you have that dream, than go to the nearest field or even your own front or back yard will work, and just practice. Juggling, shooting, dribbling, all these aspects of your game will never stop improving as long as you practice, practice, practice. It will take sacrifices and some people just aren't willing to do that, but these people... the select few that can make these sacrifices...they just aren't human, they're football players. I'm 13 years old, and my mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up. I said, "A football player". She said, "No realistically". I said, "A football player". She said," You really think you are gonna become a professional?". I said, "Absolutely". You have to be able to ignore the people who are gonna bring you down and listen to the people who can build you up. These people are leaders. Strive to be this type of person because these people are the PLAYERS... that will make to the the pros.
I play for Juventus Academy Boston, and I had a really good season last year, had like 15+ goals. And this year it has been a struggle, but I have gotten better, and at first, I thought I couldn't do what I did last year, but I didn't give up. NEVER GIVE UP ON WHAT YOU LOVE
I just feel like I have to say thanks! Thanks unisport and thank you Will and Tyler for taking the time to share the truth of pro football! I, too had that dream when I was 13-16 years old, and played competitively up till 18 where I had a couple of showcase games and got offered a couple of college opportunities in the United States but at the time I had to make a decision of soccer or education and I chose the latter as much as I love to play. I can keep my mind going forever, but not my body. So now I’m on track to become a physio and help other athletes stay injury free! I still play soccer on my spare time and god damn do I love it but I don’t regret my decision! I’m sharing for those that may be struggling with similar decisions and honestly go with your gut. If you think you’re the absolute best, then do what u think is right

As a Brazilian, what I notice that helps training our footballers: -ENVIRONMENT: The lack of conditions really helps mold the players. We start at a young age playing anywhere( Dirt, mud, asphalt, artificial grass, u name it) and this is crucial. Being able to play on any condition anywhere will make you control the ball faster. I often pass by where Ronaldo Fenomeno used to play and the field is full of holes and hills, this contributed to him being a great dribbler. We Brazilians love to play on the beach, so you'll see a lot of footvolley( which btw I recommend u watch Ronaldinho's compilations), this is basically juggling in the sand, and often helps with sprint speed( try running in the sand if u don't believe me). -JUST IN TERMS OF PERSPECTIVE. This is not ideal, but playing in the slums with fear by your side really allows for you to awaken emotional intelligence and strength. When you play a football match with the fear of being shot is nothing compared to a junior final cup. You learn to overcome the tension. -POVERTY also plays a major role, picture this, no video games or computer, just a family TV and a football in a terrible condition, so basically every day you play football with the kids in your community to have fun and these kids are great dribblers. But that's how you get better by playing with better players, don't get mad that he is a better player than u but learn from it (game mentality). Oh yeah, they will spit, kick and make fun of you, but this is part of the challenge if u can't take it then the game is not for u these are the nasty parts of football but they help u grow. -FUTSAL: Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Neymar JR, Kaka, Robinho, Juninho etc... Guess where they all started? Futsal. Quick dribbling, quick passing, smaller goals, one touches etc... its all in there. -ACADEMY: The best of the best, real game experience with those who want to be a professional, best advice here u probably already know, listen to the coaches, eat properly, practice before and after training, try to juggle the ball even more times, and enjoy the game. Note, this was just a closer Brazilian perspective I do not know how it happens anywhere else in the world but even some Brazilian players couldnt start their career in Brazil so they went elsewhere, no path is certain. No one believed you could be a footballer until you became one.

I don’t know if anyone will see this, but I don’t care. I just want to spill my guts out somewhere. I am a 13 year old boy and I’m a huge soccer fan as well as a soccer player. If I’m going to be honest, I’m a little worried of what my future holds. I’m afraid of failure. Life sucks, I was pro but injured the inside of my ankle and couldn’t walk for 4-5 months, the pro team I played for was inter fc miami, my three year contract ripped , and my agent told me I should stop , so I did , and now I’m 20 and working a 9-5 job , going pro needs lots of discipline and sacrifices , really wanted to be pro getting millions to help my parents but sadly Didn’t , good luck to the younger kids

The biggest takeaway, for me, from this video is the fact that being good is not enough. The business side of football and other things that we can't control can distract us from doing what we love doing. But if enjoy what we love doing no matter the sacrifices and hurdles that we face, we will naturally be rewarded with valuable lessons and a life that we want to live.

A few months ago I went to Holland to train with Fc Groningen, it was a pretty amazing experience and I really enjoyed it, but what had me of guard is how they are already in a pro environment and for me it wasn’t easy for me to quickly adapt in a spand of a week, so yeah I can kinda relate to this vid of looking further in a pro environment.

Soccer saved my dad he was living in a poor area and was in one of the top clubs in Africa he then got seen from scouts in Australia and moved here and now still plays and is the highest paid player in his team and is 38 which is crazy to me

Héctor Díaz Since you live in America you can go online and try to find a agent that can look for open trials for you. Don’t pay anything to the agent until you are satisfied and you passed the trial. If that doesn’t work out you can also sign up at www.ncsasports.org this is a very good organization that contacts lots of scouts to come to your soccer games and they watch how only you specifically play. Try these 2 options! Hopefully this could help you in the future. Stay strong and never give up💪⚽️
Just play with your local team. You're only 14, eventually you'll know other teams in your city or close to your city that are at a higher level than your team, and if you continue to join better teams at a young age, you'll eventually meet scouts as they don't check amateur local teams. Through your coaches and clubs you'll get connections. So just continue to play football

This is about being JUST good enough a sort of semi professional football playing in low leagues and foreign leugues if your actually good and not what these guys say is good you’ll be in an academy by 8 don’t aim to just get enough to buy food aim to be the best aim the earn the best and most importantly aim the play the best

My head and heart are at one about football. Everyone used to call me rubbish and i used to want to give up but i had passion to succeed and i am on my way to success ( not guaranteed) I give 101% when it comes to football
Now I am in college, why studies will be finished by 20 I don’t know will I get any chance to play in any club and also I live in India were chances of becoming a pro is 0.1% 😭, I don’t know what to do ? - now in India I used to see player with no skill are in big league because they have money and political support 😔 and I Lakh in that 😩, Now I play in a local club as a left midfielder/central forward won 2 cup but they don’t paid me a single rupees 😞- and there was a under19 Indian team selection happened in Kashmiri but I am from Kerala I don’t have money to spend on airplanes+food+hotel etc but still I train every day harder and harder ❤️ with a hope that 1 day I will be a super start ❤️
the sad part about this video is that these guys are professionals, but no where near to the .0001% of professionals who get paid millions that we are so exposed to...Even if you make it as a professional, all that means for most of them is an average paid salary for doing sport they love...it's no quest for riches

Real players don’t play for money or fame, we play because we love the game. My love for this game is limitless. I would never consider doing something else. I’m 12 years old and I first kicked a ball at 3 years old and that’s when I fell in love with the game. I cry sometimes because I start killing myself in training because I love doing it. The feeling of scoring a free kick or doing exercises for 8 HOURS is Amazing! I will NEVER ever consider doing anything else. Im actually a 14 year old going to play for an academy team next season after my first season of high school soccer and this video really put me in the place where I need to put myself and I train a lot, but maybe I should train, and I will, because now I see where I can be in the world of soccer and also what I can become as a young holding midfielder and my style play. Here in Brazil everywhere you go, there will be kids playing football, and trust me, they do it really well. I’m 13, and I think I am good. I practice every single day. I just don’t think I am good enough. Literally every single kid here in my country have the dream of being football player, and I can’t imagine how many next ronaldinhos or Neymars there are around my country and I don’t think ill ever be that good

My name is Peyton, and I sound very generic when I write comments, or letters, or anything. I really appreciate the perspective that you have, and your experiences as well. I am currently in my 2nd last year of high school and have played with my varsity HS team, and was asked to join a men's league team a few years back, and am finally able to play with them now at 17 years old. I have also attempted to start a connection with the soon to commence Canadian Premier League. I have played against guys in my weekly futsal club who have been to the CPL trials and also MLS trials, and usually can outplay them. I am just trying to show my experience. House league, it is mostly just fun for me, I scored about 35-36 goals last season and got more assists in about 15 games, but I know that this is not the pinnacle of all sport.
Blah blah blah, what would you suggest to be the next step for me in my hopes to be involved with the game? I realise that the question may sound brash, but I don't intend to come off that way.
I aim to play for a University team in the near future, and wish to have an exchange from Canada to Europe. I have lived across Canada, and am definitely unafraid of moving; I would embrace it. Of course, in Europe there are already roots in the ground for lower league soccer, though not as much in Canada. I don't really expect you to have read this, but any advice would be incredible. I work a lot and pay to play at the moment. All of the money I spend on soccer is my own; I don't have a money stream from my parents, or expect it. I live outside of a rural town, but we have a pitch about 25 minutes away. Combined with that, men's league, the varsity team and futsal, is this a well run vehicle to achieve my goal, or am I missing some major parts? I realise that this is very long-winded, and that you may not have so much free time, but I would gladly accept any criticism from an experienced professional.

Im pretty much a self taught soccer player and when I got into my high school soccer team the truth from what he said cant be any more real. Being good isnt good enough. The coaches already knew many of the players so pretty much all of them are put at the top. I'm fine with it. You camt fight with history but I do want to play professionally not for the money. Hell if I could play pro but not getting payed good I'll do it. Soccer is just something I cant leave. It's the one thing I can say I love with a passion I cant explain. Mark my words when I say I'll become something out of nothing. Wonder if anyone read this.

I'm in South Africa and I'm 12 years old.... I went to a development trial and they told me I didn't make it because I'm white... I cried for days but I heard a voice in my head tell me it's all the more reason to train harder and I wake up every morning at 5.30am to go to gym and do drills and all these things help motivate me to do better..

when I was about 11 and playing in a recreational league, I had moved from playing left defender to having to jump in goal because our keeper had left to play club. Being the biggest guy on the team and the bravest I decided to volunteer myself as the goalie. I was not very good of course. however, as time went on. One of my teammate's dad had offered his help to train me. Thats when my whole life changed. At 13 I was the most feared keeper at that league. Clean sheets every game for multiple seasons. At 13 years old I went to tryouts for a local club. I made the cut. By sophomore year I had made a name in my city for being a well known goalkeeper, especially for my small stature. I had done so many tournaments and cups and seasons. I had gone to England to play in an international cup. Played in Vegas. In such a short time I was just overwhelmed with success. My dad always told me to not let it get to my head, but I did just that. I started to slack on my diet, my workouts, my exercises away from the team. The results showed immediately. I seemed to not be able to keep up with what was necessary to reach where I possibly could have been. To this day I still think about what that path would have given me. I am 19 now however, and have decided to coach. Hopefully I can help the next Jerry Bocanegra and prepare him

Being younger I loved football but didn’t understand the game, all I knew was ball and goal. No offsides no nothing… I just kick ball in goal, like that’s all I knew.
Now I’ve learnt dribbles, techniques, etc. I’ve come down the rabbit hole of football
I wish I had watched this before my trial, but I'm never giving up and I'm waiting for my second chance. The coach played me in my worst position but still I did my best... I will train harder and harder because my overconfidence killed me.

This really helps mentally and motivates , I’m a goalkeeper and have failed 2 trials for separate academies in one year last year but recently I hade a trial with a youth academy that presents talent to many clubs and I made it through. This is just a reminder to never give up and even the greats were once beginners
It's all about the long run man. At 15 I was cut from my youth team that I had played over five season for. I made sure to keep my head up and less than two months later I was able to make it into D.C. United's academy's system. Like Will said there are going to be up's and down's. You have to just keep pushing forward. Especially in a position as fickle as goalkeeping.

Here I am a year after the release of his video to share my experience to whoever wants to read it:
II was born in 1975 and grew up playing soccer in Brazil. Started at age 6 in the neighborhood futsal team. Soon I was playing both 11v11 and futsal. At age 12 I moved to an amateur youth system program (Pompeia FC). Next year I was taken to America-MG youth system and soon after to Cruzeiro. I saw (and played with and against) some of the best of my generation. At 18 Cruzeiro gave me a pro contract. I was paid close to nothing but hey, I was a pro. But my career would end two and a half years later. After being loaned to America-MG twice and then to Villa Nova-MG my family told me to "rethink this whole soccer thing". I did. I regretted it at times but I felt like I wasn't really as driven and willing to become a football nomad to keep on going. The daily life of my short pro career included restricted time with family and friends, controlled meals, training, training, training, and sitting on the bench a lot. It wasn't for me. Good luck to all of you pursuing a career in the beautiful game.

Must be fake a academy. Real academy teams only charge for your jerseys and registration which is maybe 500$ 1 time a year the rest is funded by the teams younger teams which makes it an academy and free

Determination, Confidence, and persistence is what you need. If you have that dream, than go to the nearest field or even your own front or back yard will work, and just practice. Juggling, shooting, dribbling, all these aspects of your game will never stop improving as long as you practice, practice, practice. It will take sacrifices and some people just aren't willing to do that, but these people... the select few that can make these sacrifices...they just aren't human, they're football players.

I play for Juventus Academy Boston, and I had a really good season last year, had like 15+ goals. And this year it has been a struggle, but I have gotten better, and at first, I thought I couldn't do what I did last year, but I didn't give up.

I, too had that dream when I was 13-16 years old, and played competitively up till 18 where I had a couple of showcase games and got offered a couple of college opportunities in the United States but at the time I had to make a decision of soccer or education and I chose the latter as much as I love to play. I can keep my mind going forever, but not my body. So now I’m on track to become a physio and help other athletes stay injury free! I still play soccer on my spare time and god damn do I love it but I don’t regret my decision! I’m sharing for those that may be struggling with similar decisions and honestly go with your gut. If you think you’re the absolute best, then do what u think is right

As a Brazilian, what I notice that helps training our footballers:
-ENVIRONMENT: The lack of conditions really helps mold the players. We start at a young age playing anywhere( Dirt, mud, asphalt, artificial grass, u name it) and this is crucial. Being able to play on any condition anywhere will make you control the ball faster. I often pass by where Ronaldo Fenomeno used to play and the field is full of holes and hills, this contributed to him being a great dribbler. We Brazilians love to play on the beach, so you'll see a lot of footvolley( which btw I recommend u watch Ronaldinho's compilations), this is basically juggling in the sand, and often helps with sprint speed( try running in the sand if u don't believe me).
-JUST IN TERMS OF PERSPECTIVE. This is not ideal, but playing in the slums with fear by your side really allows for you to awaken emotional intelligence and strength. When you play a football match with the fear of being shot is nothing compared to a junior final cup. You learn to overcome the tension.
-POVERTY also plays a major role, picture this, no video games or computer, just a family TV and a football in a terrible condition, so basically every day you play football with the kids in your community to have fun and these kids are great dribblers. But that's how you get better by playing with better players, don't get mad that he is a better player than u but learn from it (game mentality). Oh yeah, they will spit, kick and make fun of you, but this is part of the challenge if u can't take it then the game is not for u these are the nasty parts of football but they help u grow.
-FUTSAL: Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Neymar JR, Kaka, Robinho, Juninho etc... Guess where they all started? Futsal. Quick dribbling, quick passing, smaller goals, one touches etc... its all in there.
-ACADEMY: The best of the best, real game experience with those who want to be a professional, best advice here u probably already know, listen to the coaches, eat properly, practice before and after training, try to juggle the ball even more times, and enjoy the game.
Note, this was just a closer Brazilian perspective I do not know how it happens anywhere else in the world but even some Brazilian players couldnt start their career in Brazil so they went elsewhere, no path is certain. No one believed you could be a footballer until you became one.

Life sucks, I was pro but injured the inside of my ankle and couldn’t walk for 4-5 months, the pro team I played for was inter fc miami, my three year contract ripped , and my agent told me I should stop , so I did , and now I’m 20 and working a 9-5 job , going pro needs lots of discipline and sacrifices , really wanted to be pro getting millions to help my parents but sadly Didn’t , good luck to the younger kids

The biggest takeaway, for me, from this video is the fact that being good is not enough. The business side of football and other things that we can't control can distract us from doing what we love doing. A few months ago I went to Holland to train with Fc Groningen, it was a pretty amazing experience and I really enjoyed it, but what had me of guard is how they are already in a pro environment and for me it wasn’t easy for me to quickly adapt in a spand of a week, so yeah I can kinda relate to this vid of looking further in a pro environment.

Héctor Díaz Since you live in America you can go online and try to find a agent that can look for open trials for you. Don’t pay anything to the agent until you are satisfied and you passed the trial. If that doesn’t work out you can also sign up at www.ncsasports.org this is a very good organization that contacts lots of scouts to come to your soccer games and they watch how only you specifically play. Try these 2 options! Hopefully this could help you in the future. Stay strong and never give up💪⚽️

Just play with your local team. You're only 14, eventually you'll know other teams in your city or close to your city that are at a higher level than your team, and if you continue to join better teams at a young age, you'll eventually meet scouts as they don't check amateur local teams. Through your coaches and clubs you'll get connections.

My head and heart are at one about football. Everyone used to call me rubbish and i used to want to give up but i had passion to succeed and i am on my way to success ( not guaranteed) I give 101% when it comes to football
Now I am in college, why studies will be finished by 20 I don’t know will I get any chance to play in any club and also I live in India were chances of becoming a pro is 0.1% 😭, I don’t know what to do ? - now in India I used to see player with no skill are in big league because they have money and political support 😔 and I Lakh in that 😩, Now I play in a local club as a left midfielder/central forward won 2 cup but they don’t paid me a single rupees 😞- and there was a under19 Indian team selection happened in Kashmiri but I am from Kerala I don’t have money to spend on airplanes+food+hotel etc but still I train every day harder and harder ❤️ with a hope that 1 day I will be a super start ❤️

Real players don’t play for money or fame, we play because we love the game. My love for this game is limitless. I would never consider doing something else. I’m 12 years old and I first kicked a ball at 3 years old and that’s when I fell in love with the game. I cry sometimes because I start killing myself in training because I love doing it. The feeling of scoring a free kick or doing exercises for 8 HOURS is Amazing! I will NEVER ever consider doing anything else. Its true what Tyler said all the stars got to line up, is what my 7 yr old boy Club Coach told my son, he told him to always work harder than everyone else, and b ready as hes already playing 1 and 2 yrs up in his club, will keep supporting his dream.
