Hey Marc, I recently bought a Eureka Mignon Facile from you guys at your suggestion. I'm really loving it. I modded it with a single dose hopper with bellows and an Aro adjustment ring. This purchase gave me the biggest boost in my coffee game. Keep up with the great content.
I own the E37SD - and it ‘is’ great. I gotta say, the market has come a long way in the last few years - so many high quality choices now under $1,000. I may just pick up one of those for our “travel” grinder. GREAT VIDEO!!
Love my Niche too! Though I do wish it was better with pour over. Flat burr grinders are tempting; though, I'm pretty sure my SO would murder me if I bought more coffee equipment.
That Eddions just looks like a Eureka Mignon that has been modified and is probably made by Eureka who make grinders for other brands like the Mythos for Vitoria Arduino and the new Gaggia grinders
Thanks for this. Does the E6C have the steady lock technology that leads to such consistent grind quality in the E37S/E37SD? How is retention in the E6C vs E37SD?
Man, these companies must really hate ssp burrs, huh? It'd be cool to see Whole Latte Love start carrying Timemore and Turin grinders. I'd say Zerno too, but they're not big enough to do more than custom orders right now. I'm currently waiting on a pre-order for a Zerno Z1. It should be showing up in the mail around April.
Hi V, well we do carry SSP burr upgrades: www.wholelattelove.com/products/ssp-red-speed-coated-64mm-grinding-burrs?variant=20834825142326 Have a set of these in a Ceado E37S and love them: www.wholelattelove.com/products/ssp-red-speed-coated-83mm-grinding-burrs?variant=20834849554486 Marc
@@wakeawaken430 That's not the point. The point is that half these grinders use proprietary burrs that cannot be replaced by anything other than the stock burrs that come with the machine. If you ever decide that you want to try something different, you can't. You'll have to buy a whole new grinder instead. Much more expensive than $200.
I got zero 65 and i need to grind so fine(red number 1 and number 7 on big knob) for my dedica(bottomless) i can hear burrs a lill... if i grind coarser its just to fast and espresso isnt good. What to do? Is it normal to hear burrs touching?
Hi s, Are you sure what you are hearing is burrs touching? If you see a number 1 on the red dial you should be able to go finer to 0 on the red and continue to adjust finer. Hi w, the Opus is fine but not the same build quality as selections here. www.wholelattelove.com/products/fellow-opus-all-purpose-conical-burr-grinder-matte-black?variant=40662355509302
Marc - “the man” - talks for almost 20 min straight - not a single “um” or “uhh”… the ultimate presenter and passionate coffee pal. So good!!!
And for so many years!
Yeah, hearing him talk is soothing indeed. Like a good smooth pour over or a well balanced espresso.
Hey CR, you should see the outtakes... 🤣
Marc
@ maybe make a reel for the holidays with the outtakes. That would probably be fun 😂. Happy holidays to all at Wholelattelove 🙏🏼

Hi r, yes, the E6C does have the steady lock technology. Retention in those grinders is similar with +/-

No Mazzer Philos…?
Is that because you don’t sell them…? 😂
PS - bellows are for grinders that aren’t designed properly 😂😂
You've been influenced, hard, lol.
