I don't think anyone has done a guide as comprehensive and easy as this, 3 years ago I installed one on my own and going through the manual and online guides wasnt helping and ended up taking the pc back to the shop and wait 2 weeks for them to build it
Omg i am so lucky. I am currently looking for parts for my new pc and this video told me exactly what i should do and what i should buy thank you so much for this good plain and simple video
I just bought this one and tomorrow I'm going to put it on and change the old AIO cooler I have (H100i Elite). My question is, if I already have the socket that came with the H100i Elite installed, should I change it or can I leave it? I'm not sure. In theory, both coolers are compatible with my CPU (I5 11400k) but I have that doubt. Thanks for the video, it will be very useful.

@iceeaglert I’m also curious as to why you feel this way about the fans/setup of this AIO? I’m looking to replace my current AIO cooler that came with my prebuilt PC. Already changed my ram, CPU and GPU and since I went from a ryzen 9 7900X to a ryzen 7 7800X3D I want one with a screen to monitor my temps and what I like about this one is the hoses are on the bottom so it’ll clear my ram sticks. My current one has the hoses on left side of the pump head. I’m just looking to upgrade and hopefully help with my GPU temps also. I’m currently running a 240mm 2 fan AIO I’d love to go to a 340mm but I don’t know if it’ll fit or not…
Hi! Great video. Most video tutorials on TH-cam are for versions of Krakens which don't have the radiator fans plug into the breakout cable, so even though setup about this part of obvious, your video was a good find for my related question. I have the non RGB version of this, but everything else is the same as far as I can tell. I'm a bit perplexed about what to plug in to CPU_Fan since the Water Pump is in WATER_PUMP and the radiator fans are in the breakout cable. What did you end up plugging into your CPU_FAN? Just unused?
@@civil_clowns3339 I contacted their support, looks like they don't ship with them. There is a bigger version of the Kraken 240 that does ship with a hub. not dumb, a lot of people ask. So, this is what's called an "all-in-one" cooler. Which means the pump is in there as is the coolant already.
