    This show was on the day before Frank Sinatra performed at the Royal Festival Hall and Frank watched this show in his Claridges hotel room. Apparently he really enjoyed Sandy Powell's performance among others.

    I love all this stuff, last seen when i was a kid and half a century later and its still 'genuine' and worthwhile.
    Ya gotta admit its funny ... so flippin stupid!! Comedy Gold!!

    Saw him doing his 'sonny boy' act on T. V. Where his arms got longer and longer as he sang 'Sonny boy'. I laughed so hard i got a nosebleed.

    Yes its old fashioned and not really the thing for modern day but by goodness, its still funny!!!

      He performed this in a working men's club in the North of England. On the interval, he was at the bar when a man came up and said to the bartender, 'what did they hire him for? -he's a rotten ventriloquist'.

      @@RogerWilmut which showed how good he was. Personally I dont think that todays comedy is a patch on the old days.
