I have the 73s version, sometimes it almost always kicked me back hard whenever I kickstart the bike. One time it kicked me so hard, my shoes come flying off (don't know how). But it's a very special bike to me because my dad used to ride it when he was in college and we rebuilt it together. And now that he's gone, this bike has become my favorite thing to remember him by.

Hadn't seen your bike right in the middle of your living room. Now I can remain sure I'm not the only guy petting his bike that much. I remember thrilling my wife with my CBR 600 grunting in the inside. Every time I yanked the throttle, all windows were about to shatter in pieces. I was the superhero of the group because of this "bold" action. Those were the years! Thank you so much for sharing.

Hi Joe, The ivory white bike has a Duro HF-308 (3.50 X 17) in the rear and a Kenda K205 straight rib (2.75 X 18) in the front. The green bike has Michelin M62 Gazelles (Front 2.75 X 18 and rear 3.00 X 17). Hope this helps.

@@DSmitheman Hi Doug, thank you. Yes that helps greatly. I have a 3.0x17 Duro, but it's not quite wide enough. On my CB100, I have a Michelin Gazelle in a 3 inch and it's much wider than the same size Duro. Glad to know that the 3.50 inch fits nicely on the standard cb125 rim.
I do wonder how wide I can go on the front though. If you have any thought on this, please let me know.
I've got two bikes which I am currently restoring, a 72 CB100 and a 77 CB125. The smaller one is for my girlfriend who is just learning to ride.

You can get the fairing from several places from China usually with free shipping. You want the ones with a 5 3/4 " headlight opening. Here is a place in the US with a good price.

The seat is too short for a passenger. I've left pegs on for now so my options are open should I ever decide to convert the bike to it's original state. I might remove the pegs but leave the mounts alone.
