    Love the simplicity of the old singles.

      Yeah, you can't get more simple than a Cold Chisel and Hammer. Thank you very much for your comment and for viewing my videos. What bike do you have?

      @@irfaanxlcr8370 I don't have one at the moment. I have been on a bike since I got out of school but am retiring hope to remedy that. Considering several small dual sports like XR150L, XT250, TW200 and the like but even an SR400 is on the short list to ease into it.

      So if you're looking for a dual sport I take it you live in an area where you can do some off-roading. That's good. I have the concrete jungle here. It's all Street Ridin. It's okay it's better than taking the bus and Subway

    Had the 1976 model in blue. One noticable difference - to mine. No tachometer.

    • @irfaanxlcr8370
      @irfaanxlcr8370  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that's what I miss most on mine. The tachometer makes the bike look so much more complete. What happened to yours? Thanks for watching my video. Have a great day.

      @@irfaanxlcr8370 Sadly I sold it. I had it from new but was a teenager who eventually wanted a car. Now I want my bike back (40 years later!) I looked up the registration on the Government website and it tells me it was painted black later in life. I loved mine, chrome was always highly polished.

      Yeah so sorry. It's getting really difficult to find these bikes now. Especially with the title. Anyhow you needed a car back then.

    Great bike, I had about 4 of them in the 80's and street scrambler styled 3 of them, street scramblers were not that popular in the UK back then but I loved the look, building some at the mo.

    Did the carborator come with the bike or did you have to find one? I cant find one that fits my 78. These one slip into place. Not screw on and all the ones online are screw on carbs. Any info on where to find one?

    • @irfaanxlcr8370
      @irfaanxlcr8370  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, the carburetor is the original from the factory. It's nearly impossible to find an original carburetor for that bike. Most of the parts for these bikes have been discontinued. What is the problem with your carburetor? Give me a little bit more information and I might be able to come up with something. Does your bike have a working carburetor on it at the present time? Do you have a video of your bike that I can look at?

    can you do a video on how to change the oil filter?

    • @irfaanxlcr8370
      @irfaanxlcr8370  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello and greetings. Thank you for watching my videos and for your comment. There is no oil filter on this engine. It has what is called a screen. On the left side of the engine where the gear shifter is there is a big nut maybe about 17 or 19 mm below the gear shifter. When you unscrew this nut the screen along with a spring and a gasket is in there. You have to take the screen out and you can wash it out with carb and choke cleaner then you just reinstall it. Make sure you know which direction the screen comes out so you don't make a mistake and switch it around 180 degrees when you put it back in. Do you have the same kind of motorcycle like mine? Let me know how you make out please. Thank you very much and have a great day

      Hello again. I just uploaded another video on fixing a puncture on the inner tube. You can take a look at it just in case you have to do the same thing in future.
