I have always thought God gave us guardian angels disguised as family dogs. The love, devotion, admiration and loyalty they give us is nothing short of perfection and we are so blessed to have them. Nothing else on Earth would ask us for just enough to survive and give us so much in return. Thank you for all you are doing.

American bulldogs are amazing dogs. Lost my girl yesterday to cancer. She never left my side for 9 years. One of my proudest moments was when I took her and my little sister who was 6 at the time up to some fields where lots of people walk there dogs. They was running around playing together and some other big dog come sprinting at my little sister. My dog (Lola) ran in front of my sister and growled at this other dog to scare it away from her. Will miss you forever my girl, my best friend 🧡 RIP girl.

As volunteer in NYC shelter, most new Yorkers lived in small apartments, as result most shelters has littley no small dogs because they been adopted so quickly, and big dogs end up stock in shelter for longer , specially pitbull and bull dogs as many peoples refuse to even give them chances.. it.s sad but reality

He is soooooo amazing, I have a female American bulldog and these dogs are awesome. Meatball definitely stole my heart and its soo sad that he's been waiting a year for a loving forever home. I think the fact that he is not able to be adopted outside thier area is not good too. We understand that you want them within reach for any emergency that's great too.

Was meatball adopted. I have adopted a whole lot of street dogs here in India. I have them neutered and feed them, but since they have been on the roads for a long time, they don't like to be kept in closed areas. Sending good luck angels for meatball to get adopted into a loving forever home

Not gonna lie , there are so many animals TH-cam channels out there but dodo is by far the best and purposeful towards helping the animals. Many animal channels main focus is to be entertaining and generate profit. But every dodo videos is focusing on helping the animals . Respect ! I hope this channel can go up to 20 millions subs and honestly it’s the only channel I don’t mind ads. After watching dodo for sometime now I went from no meat no eat to Monday-Thursday Vegetables only.. I love meat but every time i eat i thinking about how that animal was killed in order to present as a meal to me. It’s really hard for me to not eat meat but least I do is trying to eat less

I am also fostering a dog who had been in the shelter for over a year. She came in pregnant, had her pups, they were adopted but mom stayed. Frost is too smart for her own good! She gets along with other dogs/cats; I have 3 big dogs and if one of them is in her way, she just runs under them. I said she was smart. Her major problem is that she was a street dog and from day one that came out. Frost is really sweet, crate trained, good with kids, housebroken, a good eater, will stay with a little bit of coaxing, but will only come when called in the house, and absolutely MUST have a fenced yard with NO escape holes! Oh, she may do better in a home without a man but she does well with little boys. I know that's a lot but that's Frost's story. BTW, Frost is not food food or toy driven so training makes it a little toug

Hi Gabe, he's definitely getting a lot of love at Remember Me Rescue (and treats!) but because he's a little sad, it's been hard to keep weight on him. He does much better in a home environment, where he can relax

Meatball has been at Remember Me Rescue NY for a year, which is an independent no-kill shelter on Long Island. They rescue dogs from kill shelters and spend as much time as needed to find them a forever home. Wish we could keep them all, but sadly that wouldn't leave any room for new dogs that need help!
Where is that? We only have older kids used to dogs. Oh well. You just said no out of state. We have an 8yr old pittie needing a friend. But we have cats and my shih tzu and a chin. Fenced in yard. Our pit is very loving and likes to adopt other critters. Cats. Possums. Fine. Other dogs. Haha. Good luck. Poor guy. He'd probably have fun here. Lots of food.🐾💕

Thank you for helping the dog but you say that you took him in for a year trying to find a home, and I'm thinking "he had a home didn't he?"
Foster homes can become forever homes but that takes a spot for another dog to be saved. It's not easy to foster and unless you have done it, people don't realize how many hundreds of dogs those foster homes can save. This dog being adopted will save another dog's life.
Remember Me Rescue NY has had Meatball for a year, looking to find him a forever home! Before that he was living in a car, and being malnourished, which is no way for a pup to live.

Hi LK! Are you near(ish) to New York? Remember Me Rescue NY is open to doing out of state adoptions, as long as they're not too* far away. Adopting within the NY area helps the rescue keep in contact with all of their homes, and makes it easier to ensure their pups are going to the right places. Definitely reach out to Remember Me Rescue NY though if you're interested!
