I think Lana could do a serviceable cover as her 2010 style was echoing Melanie’s vibe a bit, but even the great Lizzy Grant couldn’t paint this song better than Melanie did … it was more than just another song for her- she poured HER SOUL into this- it shows🙌🏻

Not at all. The military fights for free speech and people who rally against what We ( I was in) do. But, then again that is why we do it it, so they can. I loved my time in. I respect those who serve and served. I respect those who practice the free speech that can be rude to hateful at times. Its all about free speech and so much more.
God bless you for serving your country. My late husband was Air Force 20 years. Went to Vietnam for 2 tours. As a man you do what it takes to defend your country and our rights. You don't ask why, you just do what is asked of you. I am very proud of my Father, Father in Law, Bothers, Husband and myself for our military histories. Service goes way back further in our families. So all that to say, I appreciate you and am happy you made it home and am proud of you. Take care. And I'm 63 and have Loved Melanie since I first heard her sing. She has a amazing talent.

Can you imagine nowadays we have multi-million dollar music videos, auto tune voices, audio editing up the ass... yet once upon a time it took real talent to get on stage and make others feel. Older generations had it harder and that will always make them stronger. Respect.
