Does this bike come in an aluminum frame option? I gave a ripmo rn and I sometimes wish I had just a little more travel. But for my size I was wondering if 180/165 is too much. Would you say that you need to be on the heavier side to really get value out of the larger fork or not?
Most often it only means what derailleur the bike comes with, and every brand out there downgrade the other parts. Some do state that it is an XTR/XT build where the derailleur is XTR and the rest is XT, but sadly it is very common in the industry to try to make the consumer think he get more than they actually give you. It's simply clickbait to lure you in. PS: It's just marketing propaganda that you will find in any merchandise sector of this world.
Im guessing they have a replaceable iscg mount that slips over the right side of the aluminum bb shell that is pressed into the frame… this is how my v4 ripley is set up, i run a one up bashguard
Ibis bikes are looking good these days! Look at those lines!
I’m loving the new Ibis branding. Straight too tubes, no more yokes, great colors!
great video straight to the point and good info 👍
Never expected it to be that light, because that is very light for being a big burly bike that it is.
That is one good looking bike
We need a comparison video of this and the nomad
how light can this bike get? Sub 13kg feasible? with lighter wheels and tires?
firebird is back xD

No ISCG tabs? WTH?
What's with the trend of not specking trail, all mountain or enduro bikes with ISCG tabs?
