so.... now that you have been to Nelson - you should check out the Steve Martin movie "Roxanne", which was mostly filmed in Nelson!! It is a great movie, very entertaining, and the quirky town of Nelson is one of the "main characters"! Really enjoying your videos, thanks for what you do!!
Just so you know: I am much enjoying these videos of yours. You do a great job of showing off the joys of cycle touring - and the occasional downside! You remind me of the bike trips (more modest trips!) that Jacqui hand I made in the past and hope to return to soon. The kindness of others: the cyclist's tonic. :-). Pedal on and safely.
You guys are amazing! It was good to Marco taking the front, as he usually enjoys Shannon's draft. lol! BTW, the sound level on the bike is really good, but way to low in the tent or when at the picnic table.
Oh man. My husband and I were super proud to do 41K today on our electric bikes. You two are the bomb. Of course I must say he is 81 and I am 78 so we felt pretty proud of that. We would like to do a road trip but it would have to be from motel to motel to charge our batteries and I would say 50k would be our max., my butt gets so sore. Love the country. you are passing through. We drove through there in 2019 just before the world stood still.
Shannon was the navigator. She has a Garmin Edge 350 so we used the Garmin app mostly. She would route plan on her phone using the app then download to to the Garmin device (it's battery efficiency is much better than the phone). We also consulted Google maps dailyl. We looked at suggested routes on Ride with GPS as well. Of course we consulted Quebec's Route Verte and Ontario's Great Lakes WaterfrontTrail maps. Nova Scotia's Blue Route wasn't very helpful. That about covers it...hope that helps.

Thanks for the reminder about Roxanne. I saw it when it was released but not since...we'll have to re-watch it. We could happily live in Nelson!.
Stunning camp spot at Lockhart beach! Your living the dream good on you two :)
Some spots are dreamy and some....well. Lockhart was definitely gorgeous.

Thanks for that!
A kind soul paid for our lunch today! The kindness of strangers...

I keep telling her I'm behind for better video footage but you found me out. LOL
Hmm. I'll pay closer attention to the volume...not sure what I can adjust. Thanks!

LOL! Thanks for the comment! Look up "Arthur and Dawn" on TH-cam. They just pedaled from Florida to Ottawa on ebikes. Art is 80, I believe.
Did you plan your route on any bikes app or was it just good maps
