Thx for the review. I like to know if you can add auto pause and a haptical feedback for every x-lanes in the swimming app. Garmin has this and it is so basic to use with a swim training.
I see people complaining about the battery life for cyclin. It is approximately 10 hours on Ultra. I do a lot of grand fondos that are 100 miles or 160 km that leaves me approximately 30% left of battery if I as a slow rider uses 7 hours. so this is meant for more casual people if you are going to, really be doing sports you should buy Garmin. There is 40 million Apple watches sold every year in comparison. Garmin sells 7 million units every year that’s all kind of units not only sports units so this is more of a feature those on already have an Apple Watch. It’s not sports watch or bike computer.
The potential has kept the AWU 2 in my rotation. If these features land and keep getting better, plus battery life improvements, I’d begin to sunset my Garmin watches over time.
Yeah, definitely! I am very excited for the new Apple Watches in September! 😊 But I doubt that the battery life will be significantly better… unfortunately
I own AWU 2. I have downloaded the new Beta of watch os and frankly it still doesn’t compare or come close to a Garmin or whoop band. It is so frustrating that apple cannot listen to the public as everyone wants on watch metrics that garmin can offer. Shame really but once again software rather than hardware lets the watch down. Epix Pro is still way superior.
Will SPO2 be back in watch 11 ?!

If they want to make a sport watch first make a good battery apple never be garmin
But it’s a smart watch . Should expect to charge it almost every day anyway. So battery life isn’t issue.
